Nsukka Youths General Assembly (NYGA), an umbrella body of youths in Enugu North Senatorial District, has said it will buy Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration forms for 120 indigent candidates free of charge. Roy Ekwueme, NYGA National President, disclosed this in Nsukka on Thursday while briefing newsmen. He said the aim of the initiative is to help indigent youths in the district that are intelligent but from poor backgrounds to have access to higher education. ‘In spite the fact that the assembly is an advocacy body but one of the visions of NYGA is to impact positively on the lives of youths,’ he said. ‘We recognised education as the backbone of personal and community development in any country of the world. NYGA has set aside money to buy 120 JAMB forms for indigent candidates in the district for the forthcoming 2021 JAMB examination. ‘Beneficiaries will be spread across the six LGAs that make up the district,’ he said. The President also said that the assembly would not stop at buying JAMB for these indigent candidates but would help to find sponsors for those who would score excellent marks in the exam. ‘Already, we are having conversations with some wealthy people in the district to help sponsor the education of these candidates who will make excellent marks in JAMB,’ he said. He said further that the assembly will in no distance time start training some youths in the area free of charge on six computer application packages and fish farming in order to make them job creators instead of job seekers. ‘We have concluded plans to train some youths on computer application packages and fish farming. ‘The assembly has acquired fish pond that has capacity of containing over 4,000 fishes, as well as brand new laptop computers. ‘The assembly decided to embark on fish farming so as to have means of revenue as well as an avenue for youths from the area to learn fish farming for free,’ he said. He said the assembly have already engaged experts and consultants on computer training and fish farming to ensure that the two programmes yelided the desired results. Ekwueme on behalf of the assembly expressed appreciation to Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for his constant financial assistance to the assembly. ‘NYGA will forever remain grateful to Ugwuanyi both for his moral and financial support to the assembly. ‘Sliver and gold we have none to pay back, but we promise him that youths in the district will continue to be law abiding as well as support all his programms and policies Ugwuanyi’s administration as part of effort to make Enugu State the best state in the federation,’ he said. https://www.sunnewsonline.com/group-to-buy-jamb-registration-forms-for-120-indigent-candidates-in-nsukka/ https://realnewsmagazine.net/group-to-sponsor-120-indigent-candidates-for-utme/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.today.ng/news/nigeria/group-buy-jamb-registration-forms-120-indigent-candidates-nsukka-360300/amp

Dear Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, your Excellency Sir you are not doing well. You are busy rewarding critics and propagandists while your die hard supporters are being treated like wailers They have been called sycophants, hypocrites, ass lickers etc in their quest to support and protect your government but what do they get in return? Insult on their emotional, psychological, political and economic intelligence. Boys are angry and from the calls I have received this morning, all of them have come to a conclusion that the only way to get your attention is through criticisms and propagandas against your government and their pains are genuine. Youth leaders that have been keeping them in line are angry and devastated as well. Your Excellency, your supporters no longer have enough support system and their hopes seems dashed. It pains me to write this to you but I doubt if people close to you are telling you the truth. It's not all about table manners Sir, sometimes people don't talk not because they are eating but out of respect for the father, sometimes in solidarity for their own and sometimes in expectation of a future meal. A hopeless son is a rebellious is son. Nobody will tell you this but Roy, Sir tensions are high and flying in the air https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2924639074294777&id=100002461405482

As of this time 12:11,this is the situation report in almost all the polling units in Nsukka LGA before PDP starts brandishing corconted votes to themselves
|
There is no voter cubicle for the election. Enugu state is conducting an open open ballot election to aid rigging |
The election is being characterized by massive apathy, no polling unit in Nsukka local government has up to 20 voter
|
Voting is yet to commence in Nsukka
|
Ensiec officials are just arriving at University of Nigeria primary school
|
Online report As at 9:42 am, no material or electoral officers have seen sighted anywhere across Nsukka LGA |
NSUKKA ARISE; THE TIME IS YOUTH O' CLOCK. Having lived the entirety of the years of my life in Nsukka, from a kid raised in Agu-umabor; a community that has never seen electricity, pipe-borne water, motorable roads nor any form of government presence at all till date, and with the epidemic of extreme poverty, to a teenager who combined secondary School education with wheelbarrowing and being a bus conductor, for six years in ogige market Nsukka, to loading and unloading of timbers and building materials in timber shades. From becoming a student union leader in UNN to a youth leader in Enugu state and also having transversed the nooks and crannies of Opi, Ede-oballa, Lejja, Obimo, Ikwoka, Edem, Alo-uno, Okpuje, Ibagwani, Okpaligbo, okwutu, Anuka, Obukpa, Nsukka and my home town Eha-alumona. I am in a privileged position to say that I have lived and seen it all, the good, the bad and the ugly life of Nsukka people and still living with the day to day sad realities of irresponsible leadership, I have come to the conclusion that those elected to manage our collective resources and chart ways for our future over the years do not really care about us. They are predators and they see us as nothing but preys. They have continued to shortchange and mortgage our future in the hope that we will forever be their slaves and remain comfortable with crumbs from their dining tables while they and their children feed fat on our collective patrimony. They bank on sycophants for daily praise singing and ego massaging but we are not sycophants. They bank on the silence of the conformists but we are non-conformists. They bank on the fear of the surpressed but we can never be intimidated out of our future. Simply put, It is not going to be business as usual anymore because all of us in the constituency of the ordinary people of Nsukka and Youths constituency are now knowledgeable enough to see beyond their antics, hypocrisy and wickedness. Hence we must unite to chart a common course to emancipate ourselves from the shackles of nepotism, blind loyalty, maladministration, godfatherism, cluelessness, and corruption in high places in Nsukka LGA. Borrowing inspiration from the words of Jawaharlal Nehru: At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, Nsukka will awake to life and political consciousness. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a people, long suppressed, finds utterance. It is fitting that at this solemn moment we take the pledge of dedication to the service of Nsukka and her people and to the still larger cause of humanity through massive and inclusive development for all. It is on this foundation that I let out a passionate call to the Youths, the ordinary people of Nsukka, students, and parents who believe the future belongs to their children, the artisans, businessmen/women, intellectuals, civil servants, professionals, labourers, Okada riders, drivers and all well meaning people of Nsukka, both indigenes and settlers to join hands with us to make Nsukka great for all of us and the future generation, through our *3 point agenda of* *UNPRECEDENTED YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION and INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT* These will serve as the blueprint for the massive liberation of our people. Together we can! Together we shall! My Name is *Ekwueme Roy Ifeanyichukwu Oformaonyejiya Chukwumaluijem* and to the glory of God I am presenting myself to serve you as the next Nsukka LGA chairman under *Advanced Allied Party AAP* *This is our time. The Future is here.*

FEAR AND HOPE FOR NIGERIA Election have come and gone; victors jubilating, losers mourning and long litigation looming. It's all for Nigeria. One thing that strikes me the most is that the victors are not jubilating because of potential for good governance, neither for credible elections nor for Nigeria's democracy rather for bragging rights. To them all is fair in war and they support any means their team employed to win irrespective of the future consequences. Congratulations for now but no thank you. THE FEAR The northern Igbophobia took a fearful dimension as amplified by Obiphobia of northern elites and which was passed to the veins of their mostly uneducated subordinates. Nasir Elrufai started the venomous hate against Igbo through his relentless lies against Obi as a tribalist and a bigot, the narrative sprang up the Ahmed Bello's warning of Igbo's quest for dominance and suddenly the killings, maiming, abductions, poverty, hunger, deaths, starvations etc became secondary, they instigated a primary motive of never allow an "nyamiri" to have the opportunity of leading Nigeria, to them Obi's vice presidency is a luxury they couldn't afford because it could lead to presidency therefore they chose to pay any price to stop that from happening even if it means more death, more starvations, more militia herdsmen, more bokoharam etc once it keeps Obi/Igbo out of Asorock it's a divine sacrifice. Atiku did not lose in the core north because of the looter propaganda neither did Buhari win with such a margin because of his fake integrity. The core variable was Igbophobia/Obiphobia. * The Inec role, security apparatus and massive voter inflation will be for another day. It's fearfully worrisome that a people could allow what's happening in the north to continue because of phobia for fellow citizens. The mandate coup might have stopped a possible pogrom. We await the outcome of the litigation. THE HOPE This election gave massive hope that the next decade will usher in new breed of political understanding and cohesion in the south courtesy of our Yoruba neighbours. Yoruba made a very loud political statement that is widely underrated and unappreciated. For the first time since the ethnicisation of Nigeria, an ethnic group voted massively for a joint ticket that didn't have one of their own in it and for a party that is not the ruling party in their zone. What a massive breakthrough. When you consider that all the six governors in the southwest is of APC, all the states apparatus and machinery is for APC, all the federal mights and apparatchik is for APC , the bourdillion bullion vans, the bird that couldn't fly because of cash overload and yet they voted PDP you will realise that this is an uncommon nationalism at display. The Yorubas' had a very good and tempting reasons to ethnicise the election but they chose otherwise, please ignore the political jobbers and contractors who could do anything to keep their job including fanning the embers of discord and sowing the seeds of ethnic divisions. They are in every tribe and the Yoruba faction does not in anyway represent the entire Yoruba nationality, they spoke and showed it with their votes. This brings me to voter intimidation and suppression in Lagos, what transpired in Lagos was an outright display of cowardice by the perpetrators and their sponsors, it was a political thuggery instigated by a cabal that is sharply losing the grip of their colony, please my fellow Igbos that has nothing to do with the entire Yoruba race, it has nothing to do with hate, Yoruba don't hate Igbo. We have our misgivings and differences here and there but it's not hate, it's ideological differences which is natural. Don't give the minions that perpetrated the tragedy the satisfaction of achieving their aim of divide and rule, they don't care about any race, all they care about is their political positions and protection of their empire. Please look beyond the headlines. The Yoruba race is my MVPs in this election. Ekwueme Roy Ifeanyichukwu |
If Nigeria start working it will work for all of us irrespective of tribe and religion Enough of this hate and tribalism. We can do bettered |

Baawaa:I was expecting Amen from you as you are very proud of Buhari |
Baawaa:Hope the way Nigeria is being lead under Buhari is the way you want your children and future grand children's life to be. May we never experience this kind of affliction again |

Why we should all vote Atiku/Obi for the sake of Nigeria part 1 Fellow youths let me explain to you why we are rooting for Atiku/Obi presidency We are not unmindful of the fact that no politician is a saint but in a situation like we are in in Nigeria and mostly all over the world patriotic citizens fights to elect the lesser realistic evil, for we all got evil in us. Firstly do you think any other candidate except Atiku have the ability, the structure, the war chest and the connect to defeat Buhari? If your answer is no allow me to tell you why you should vote Atiku ahead of Buhari. Atiku is probably the most detribalized Fulani Muslim elite, he respects religious beliefs and don't have problem working with any ethnic group. Atiku is an accomplished businessman and an established technocrat who knows his way round the workings of economy and technology. He has clear road map of policies and programs he intends to execute. Politics is business and one of the bane of our political system is the influence of sponsors, Atiku is the only one in that ring that can power his own campaign with no fear of cabals holding his presidency and by extension the entire nation at ransom as currently being suffered under Buhari. Atiku is a great job creator and educationist who will give priorities to employment generation and education sector currently lacking in this administration. Atiku will have no problem assembling best brains to work with in his quest to get a working Nigeria, evidently displayed by his choice of Obi even when PDP big wigs kicked against it and are still kicking against it. This shows he has the balls to take difficult decisions in favour of the Masses. #GetNigeriaWorking #MrEIR |

The federal government illegally diverted $1.05 billion (N378 billion at N360 to a dollar) sourced from the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) dividend funds to secretly fund subsidy payment on petroleum products, PREMIUM TIMES can report today. The diversion details are coming amidst revelations from accusations the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has a $3.5 billion subsidy fund it is spending without appropriation by the National Assembly. In October, a motion by Biodun Olujimi, (Ekiti-PDP) had triggered debates in the National Assembly on the purported $3.5 billion fund alleged to be managed by the state oil company. But the NNPC said it had no such fund in its custody. Rather, it said it has a $1.05 billion fund it is using to stabilise petrol supply and distribution in the country. While the NNPC, through its spokesperson, Ndu Ughamadu, initially claimed the corporation sourced the fund from an ‘international agency’, Maikanti Baru, NNPC group managing director, admitted last week that the money was sourced from the NLNG dividend fund. Documents in the possession of this newspaper have now shown that the fund was sourced at the height of the fuel scarcity crisis between last December and January and was secretly diverted into payments on petrol supply and distribution. The funds came from dividends paid to the federal government by the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) company, a firm in which the government owns 49 percent equity. The Nigerian government is represented in the NLNG shareholding arrangement by the NNPC with 49 percent stake. Other shareholders are Shell (25.6 percent), Total (15 percent) and Eni (10.4 percent). Dividends from the gas firm are meant to be shared by the federal, state and local governments of Nigeria. The funds are supposed to be paid into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation rather than spent unilaterally by any tier of government. But PREMIUM TIMES has now confirmed that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government unilaterally — without required consultation with states and the national assembly– tampered with the NLNG funds. That was also done without the mandatory appropriation by the National Assembly. Lawmakers say by his action, President Buhari has violated the nation’s appropriation law, and has therefore committed impeachable offences.
