PoliticsDesperate Corrupt Atiku Vs Saint Buhari By Ekwueme Ifeanyichukwu Roy by mrroy91(op): 5:07pm On Sep 03, 2018
The Desperate corrupt Atiku and The incorruptible messianic Buhari.

2019 is almost here and the polity has never been heated as it is now, the progressives are hell bent in making sure we maintain status quo while the Democrats are ready to throw everything they have at effecting power transition at federal level while a third force is emerging in youths aspirants. The calculated manipulations, the propagandist theorems and the intrigues so far has made us at times think we are seeing game of thrones.
There is no gain allaying our fears concerning the danger 2019 is waving at our faces, I will just put down my opinion concerning the presidential aspirants starting from the two characters above.
Nigeria is such a wonderful, special and unique country that we can survive extreme hardships as well as forget disastrous events in an unprecedented manner because for sure more disaster will overcome the previous ones almost immediately.

Its time we tell ourselves the ugly truths " there is no single Nigerian politician that is not corrupt " and I will continue to maintain my position that our problem is not individualistic corruption but institutional corruption.

I have watched, read and listened to people vilify, defame, abuse and curse Atiku for being corrupt, yes he is corrupt but which other politician is not corrupt in Nigeria? It beclouds logic and reasoning how same people praise Buhari and other related afflictions as God sent and Saviours.
For the records, corrupt Atiku has only held two public offices firstly as custom boss and then vice president of Nigeria while saint Buhari was former military governor north eastern state, former military governor Borno state, former federal commissioner for petroleum and natural resources an equivalent to his current position as minister for petroleum and natural gas, former military head of state and the incumbent president federal republic of Nigeria. Note* just to refresh our memories.

Buhari and Atiku are two opposing personalities, the former has never accepted responsibilities for anything in his life while the later has been a victim of his actions and that of others, the later who was a subordinate at the highest echolen of power in the land have continued to be ascribed amid unreasonably everything wrong with the administration he served in while his principal have been proclaiming all successes to himself but the former is never aware of anything wrong happening or happened where he preside, is that not self denial? Someday we might hear the president doesn't know where he is.

Buhari despite holding several lofty government positions and being in country highest pension for decades has only 150 barren and immortal cows as his investment according to his access declaration, never created any job nor founded any NGO to help a nation that have been feeding him from time immemorial but stiil claims saint while the corrupt Atiku has over 50000 direct employees and potential millions indirectly.

I can help but Imagine if we would have been in this mess had it been that the Buharis, Babangidas, Obasanjos, Gowon's, Danjumas, Tinibus, Abdulsalams, Kalus, Amaechis, Sheriff's etc have done half of what Atiku is doing as private citizens.

Our major problem is not just that our politicians are corrupt but the fact that they don't invest the corrupt proceeds in our country.

A man that can't take responsibilities for his actions and inactions is not fit to stand among men talk more of being a President amongst men.

Atiku do not have court followership in the north because he's neither an extremist nor a fundamentalist and that's good for Nigerian, we need someone to unite us more than ever not someone who's sees a section as five percentiles and definitely not someone who fights corruption with deodorants and insecticides with respect to their political affiliation.

We need a job creator not a job killer.

In my country where every politician is corrupt though unproven, my favourite corrupt politician is the one who invests in Nigeria to build Nigeria.
I Support Atiku Abubakah

I stand with Atiku

#EseBrumeDeservesBetter

This is Ese Brume. She's a Nigerian track and field athlete competing in the long jump event. Ese won gold at the just concluded African Championships in Asaba. Two years ago she won gold at the Commonwealth Games. But the Nigerian authorities have refused to pay her her entitlements for the African Championships. According to her, they were promised $100 as daily allowance for the 7-day event and $3,000 for each gold medal won. What she is owed is therefore $3,700, roughly N1.4m. But when it was time to pay them, they were given N107,000, that's about $300 which didn't even cover their daily allowance of $700. Majority of the Nigerian athletes collected the money because 'at all-at all' get as e be. But Ese and two other athletes, Divine Oduduru and Tobi Amusan rejected the money because it was a blatant insult. Many of us will agree it is.

Ese is not happy with Nigeria, not just because of the money but because nobody cared about how she prepared for tournaments. According to her, her mind is already set towards preparations for 2020 Olympic games but the Nigerian authorities won't start thinking about that now until a few weeks to the event. Yet when an athlete like her who combines her athletics with her education in Cyprus makes sacrifices to prepare all by herself and eventually win something, the country will insult her on top of it.

This is Ese's Nigeria story.

This message should get to the right authorities
May we NEVER be treated like strangers in our own country anymore!

PoliticsRe: It Will Be Disastrous, If PDP Fails To Give Me The Ticket~ Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by mrroy91(m): 8:06am On Jul 31, 2018
Op Is it the same Atiku who, between 1999—2003, while Obasanjo globe-trotted and gallivanted, Atiku was the de-facto President and made himself stupendously rich?

it the same Atiku who ensured His children became directors of oil-servicing companies and forgot about people like you?

Is it the same Atiku who was the custodian of the machinery for national development in the first years of this government and did absolutely nothing with it except enriching himself?

Is it the same Atiku who handled all the Federal Government dealings in the 36 states of the federation, including FCT Abuja, and chaired all the economic projects of the country, and appointed 7 out of 10 ministers yet failed woefully?

Is it the same Atiku who was the chairman for the transformation of the socio-economic landscape of Nigeria and failed to link the 36 states of the federation in terms of good roads, electricity, security of life and property, job creation etc?

Is it the same Atiku who stabbed Obasanjo in the back that made Obasanjo unable to forgive him till date despite Atiku sneaking into Abeokuta to beg Obasanjo and still got rejected?

Is it the same Atiku who his AC compatriots abandoned after he destroyed AC and forced tinubu to rebrand it to ACN?

Is it the same Atiku who crept back to the PDP after yaradua died only to walk out on PDP in 2013 and switch to APC which he described with his own mouth as his last and final bus stop yet when APC failed to satisfy his presidential lust he quickly jumped back to PDP?

Your Atiku is as fraudulent and deceptive

If Atiku as vice President had all these purported powers and portfolios you can as well tell us that OBJ was a ceremonial President.

You blackmail Yoruba for supporting APC but supported GEJ and PDP more than the region GEJ comes from.

You blackmail Osibanjo for been a mere commissioner as VP but is jostling and hustling for VP to Atiku a Fulani man like your lives depends on it.

Every topic on how Ekiti election was rigged is written by an Igbo person, APGA, PDP won Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi other region never blackmailed you people for voting these parties.

You blackmailed Amaechi, Rochas, Ngige, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ogbonnaya Onu and other APC members from South South and South East.

Continued....

In my polling unit I discovered a fraud voter early enough when a woman of below 40 years failed authentication after recapture and I had to check her card though the blurred picture on the PVC, in the card reader and the voters register makes all fair people look alike and all dark people same in as much as they are same gender but the woman couldn't have been born in 1999 and I questioned her and she said it was her daughters that she will go home to get hers but she never returned, in a normal election we could have reasoned that stress of going and coming would have made her to stay put but in a day where PVC seemed like a boundless ATM card I seriously doubt that.
After my encounter with the woman and her resultant home going I noticed people leaving the queue quietly but seriously in the end I recorded 153 verified voters, 147 successful authentication and 6 failed, in that six were 5 very aged people and the woman that went home.
When I returned to my RAC i:e where ward collation is to be done I did a fact check and discovered that almost all other POs did not recognized the impersonators worthy to mention out of numerous is a polling unit that recorded around 158 failed authentication and just over 80 successes, I immediately felt concerned and I needed someone to tell me its just peculiar to the two wards in my RAC but to my greatest chagrin and disappointment my call sample posits that almost all the polling units recorded a very significant number of failed authentication and many of them revealed that INEC officials came to their polling units and instructed them to allow failed authentication to vote without much ado to avoid congestion that APO2 should simply tick FA on the voters register( Election just got rigged technologically)
Its wasn't because of my smartness nor assertiveness that made me recognise the fraud perpetrated while others couldn't, no far from that angle, I received I call around 1am on election day from unknown person who said they needed to see me urgently and were heading for my RAC , when they came the pot bellied man simply but intelligently introduced himself as CSO which could mean anything and proclaimed to be a chieftain of APC and made an offer to me for a deal, I was offered a blank check though orally to organize other POs so that they would send voters to our various polling units with cards for those units but the carriers won't be the owners, that we should just allow them vote when they fail authentication shikina, it was one of the hardest decision for me to make in recent time but in the end I strategically agreed with them and tactically denied them access to me at day break after promising to complete the deal by then, in the end my refusal didn't change anything but I still hold my head high.
It was after this meeting that I realized INEC had sold some of the undistributed PVCs to a party thereby selling the election and consolidated it by admonishing presiding officers not to scrutinize failed to authenticate too much and most corpers were already stressed out they just wanted to finish and go home.
If INEC could be made to release the number of voters duly authenticated and number failed but still voted, we will realize that Ekiti never had an election.
Am worried because if people don't rise up then 2019 is already won and lost while we wailers will continue to wail.
Am loyal to my country
I just want my country to work and I will contribute my little quota .
God bless Nigeria

The Chronicle Of Ekiti Election.
#The Inside Story Episode 3.

The role of INEC and the danger of 2019.

The manipulation of Ekiti election started way before 14th of July, in short what happened on 14th is nothing but the more you look the less you see except for those of us who started looking way before the Election day, Ekiti was sold before 14th, the electorates merely collected the balance and sighed off their free will.

It all started with PVC distribution fraud, I am authoritatively saying this because am preview to inside information about the distribution. INEC deliberately produced incomplete voters registers for various wards so as to disenfranchise some Ekitites, if not a deliberate plan to subvert the will of the people, why would one come to collect his/her PVC where he validly registered but will not find their name in the register while their card is there starring at them?
Why would INEC give strict directive to corpers issuing the cards not to give cards to persons that can't find their name in the voters register. This is a cause for concern for it might be a master template to disenfranchise sections of the country not in good books of INEC pay masters.

The the strategy behind holding back peoples cards by INEC came into manifestation on election day, INEC either sold or gave the cards to their preferred party and that was how INEC decided the election before the election
For those thinking its impossible to do because of smart card readers, well we all have been scammed because SMRs is a hoax and has over exaggerated efficiency. Please read on as I intimate you on the processes of presiding and conducting election by INEC to burst your bubbles.

Every polling unit has four officers i:e the presiding officer PO and three assistant presiding officers APO1 -3. The APO3 is the crowd controller and does the first verification of voters by manually assessing whether the card being held by the voter belongs to the polling unit before ushering the voter to the queue, the APO1 is in charge of the smart card reader that is verification of the card proper and authentication of the voter. Note* please pay attention here to fully understand and appreciate the danger we are in. When a voter approaches APO1 for accreditation the first point of call is to verify whether the card belongs to the polling unit by the SMR once its has been verified the card reader record that immediately, the next is authentication i:e biometric verification to ascertain that the card holder is indeed the owner of the card once passed moves to APO2 for manual verification and accreditation through the colored voters register and then inking, the voter then proceeds to the PO for signing, stamping and issuance of ballot paper.

What then happens if the card reader fails to authenticate the card holder?, INEC made provision that if authentication fails after trying the two indexes and two thumbs, a recapture button will pop up on the card reader to reregister the prints of the voter and then authenticate the voter and INEC authoritatively said that its only on a very rare case could authentication fail after recapture and its only acceptable when its below 1% of the vote cast but what we experienced in Ekiti was quite opposite.

I can vouch without being immodest that the number of unauthenticated voters in Ekiti election was way above 100,000 which is over a hundred thousand votes cast illegally.
In my polling unit I discovered a fraud voter early enough when a woman of below 40 years failed authentication after recapture and I had to check her card though the blurred picture on the PVC, in the card reader and the voters register makes all fair people look alike and all dark people same in as much as they are same gender but the woman couldn't have been born in 1999 and I questioned her and she said it was her daughters that she will go home to get hers but she never returned, in a normal election we could have reasoned that stress of .....read more on his wall

PoliticsState Of The Nation By Ekwueme Roy by mrroy91(op): 10:42am On May 15, 2018
The State Of The Nation. Part 1

There is no gain reestablishing the fact that the Nigerian State has failed and heading to catastrophic oblivion but there is lightening need to continuously reiterate the faith that all hope is not lost. I am a nationalist and I believe in this nation state for reasons I sometimes found difficult to convince myself its enough, after intra personal debate/s it all sumed up to just little faith, That little faith that keeps on whispering to me that someday we will get it right, someday we will be in position to effect the change we heartily crave for, someday we will reap the dividends of our strength through our diversity, someday Nigeria will be a shot caller instead of a puppet in the hands of grand western puppeteers. The candle of this little faith which was about dying because of recent turn of event in our dear country have been rekindled by my three weeks explorative experience in South Western Nigeria.

You don't need further introduction to deduce that am not a fan the this current Federal administration, yes am not just a non fan , am an ardent critic and a pained wailer that the wailing fire in me gives me sleepless night on how I will contribute a convincing quota in sending someone back to daura, how to participate actively and favourably in saving my beloved country and its citizenry from the shackles of enemies of the state and from the grasp of carnivorous animals with human flesh masquerading as our current leaders, I have never been more inspired and motivated than I am now, there are just some names that raises my blood pressure and activates all the dormant cells in my system in a chaotic manner, if you know you know.

My one month adventure in the south west was more of public view exploration and opinion pool examination on what will become of Nigeria come 2019, forgive me to confess my initial disdain for western Nigeria for masterminding and foisting this dooms day party and its eventual evil presidency on us all, my pain was not in any way aided by my thought that they are unapologetic and unrepentant of their 2015 catastrophic choice.
Due to my poor analytical prowess only exhibited in my inthought previously, my permutation had been that due to political doggedness of Jagaban and the court followership he enjoys across western states (Ekiti excluded) coupled with five incumbent governors, will lead westerners to actualize my worst nightmare and that of every patriotic Nigerian by extension

But My interactions with over 300 western youths from different states rekindled my hope, Firstly they are no longer under the jagaban revolutionary spell of change.
Secondly we all agreed that Nigeria is in state of quagmire and in dire need of healing, rebranding and restructuring which the incumbent is a sworn enemy of.
Thirdly we all inspired ourselves on the need for a national youth movement that will shake the political atmosphere come 2019 and release us from the shackles of the evil cannibalistic cabals, we unanimously agreed with the end (#backtodaura) but slightly differed on the means.

Most of them are filled with vibes and highly spirited for the prospect of having a young president come 2019, for the ones on this divide, what Nigeria really need is a young president that will lead a technological induced presidency, that will understand the thinking and drive of youths of this dispensation, that would navigate through national and international relations without being scripted, that would understand that its almost a full time job being a Nigerian in this current circumstances, for this my energetic brothers and sisters its either Sowore, Fela or Moghalu but non seemed confidently sure of which is a go, it was almost like anyone but not the recycling of yesterday's men.
The other divide is of the opinion that though Nigeria will benefit most from a youthful President come 2019, the present political composition and equation of Nigeria will make it impossible for neither of the three above to emerge as president, politics in Nigeria is not yet matured enough to be won on wonderful ideas and media popularity alone. There has to be deep rooted structure across the country, you have to attract the sentiment of major religious leaders and traditional rulers across the country to at least not campaign against you if they can't afford to support you and Most importantly you must have a very good number of governors on your side which these three potential revolutionaries do not possess presently. Its good that youths are participating more and going for the villa throne but let us not get too excited of prospect and forget the clarion call for national rescue.
PoliticsThe Proof That Nigerian Youths Are Lazy - By A Patriotic Nigerian by mrroy91(op): 8:24am On Apr 20, 2018
His Excellency president Mohammadu Buhari I totally concur with you that Nigerian youths are lazy.

Sir Nigerian youths are so dam lazy for allowing a 73 year old former head of state, former governor, former ptf chair who entered the military at age 19 as a result of quota system and meritoriously failed all his military exams, whom despite holding topmost political positions has never created any employment opportunity, has never built any schools, no empowerment programs initiated and no social welfare scheme to his name ever to be elected President again.

Sir if not laziness why would a number of supposed intellect youths defend your inept maladministration in the name of paid media attack dogs (online thuggery) who montages their future for immediate senseless stomach security.

Sir if am not lazy why would I fold my arms with my Bsc in the bag and allow a man with no senior school certificate be my President.

Mr President we are very lazy and a perfect example is one zombie who has never swept his room, never washed his clothes nor ever cleared his dishes and has never worked for anything who crashed #56million motor bike bought with oil money, cracked his head and was flown to Germany with oil money, treated with oil money and brought back to Nigeria in a plane chartered with oil money.

We are truly lazy because we don't know history coz had we been more knowledgeable we should have known that leopards doesn't change its spots , a man that called his country men senseless, useless and undisciplined in 1983 is assumably degrading us below expectations for only calling us corrupt, uneducated and lazy for making him President once more.

We are definitely lazy for making a man with immortal and unproductive 150 cows as his lifetime investment, who claimed to be technically poor with a million naira life savings who now has a wife with #40million handbag and a son with #56million bike our President.

Dear sir we concur we are lazy and uneducated because you are a life proof of that but since you think you are doing us a favour by becoming our President and you are on a different intellectual and integrity capacity to all of us all, Superman sir we would like to look inwards towards solving our problems, we humans can no longer afford to be led by an alien who thinks alien talks alien and walks alien, we gratefully thank you for your unsolicited help and crave your indulgence to retire to your daura spaceship come 2019. Thank You.

PoliticsRe: Pendulum: Now That President Buhari Has Let The Cat Out Of The Bag By Chief Dele by mrroy91(m): 7:57am On Apr 14, 2018
kushy:
Mr dele irrespective of my displeasure in you for supporting enthronement of this regime when enormous indices pointed out the possibility of this disaster we are in now, your analytical prowess can't possibly be ignored.
Just do me one favor, just as u helped enthrone this catastrophe please don't sleep until you help dethrone them. Thanks

Fellow Nigerians, it has been a very interesting week in our dear beloved country. What has been a long purportedly hidden, but open secret, which we all knew about anyway, and which we knew was going to happen finally did happen. Our President, Muhammadu Buhari, dropped his muted bombshell as he was just on his way to London on a “working visit” but it was not exactly the explosive denouement to the “would he run, would he not” saga his acolytes would have expected. Rather it was an anti-climax or, more appropriately a whimper or simply, déjà vu. It was always obvious that the President would find the temptation to seek a second term very irresistible, like all ordinary mortals. The trappings, ceremonies and ostentation of power are too appealing and difficult to give up. The ability to shun this enticement is what made The Madiba, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela an uncommon and apotheosised being. He knew not all rights must be claimed or actualised. However, no one can deny anybody, including our esteemed President, his rights, if he chooses to exercise those rights. Clearly, those who have advised him against what they perceive as a misadventure, were amongst his biggest supporters in the past. They wanted him to recuse himself from the excruciating agony of what has turned out to be very tedious, unprofitable governance, and thereby rescue Nigeria from the burden of weak and ineffective leadership. Now that the President has made up his mind that those reasons are not strong enough to dissuade him from re-contesting a record fifth time, the best we can do, as his former followers, is to wish him the best of luck.
The beauty of democracy is that it guarantees the rights of everyman to vote and be voted for, as long as he has no criminal record or other impediment to debar him from doing so. I’m looking ahead to a very rigorous selection process and robust campaign in the dozens of political parties in Nigeria. It is obvious that the ruling party, APC would try to railroad its ticket in favour of the President. As for that, there is not likely to be any negotiation. Any challenger within the party would have an uphill task and be treated automatically as a renegade and recalcitrant outcast. For me, that is not a reason to give up. Any would be contestant within the APC must simply realise that he has a mountain to climb, but even Mount Everest has been scaled, so the task is not impossible. Indeed, it may be the saving grace of the party and its Presidential candidate, whoever emerges, be it President Buhari or some other person.

The other major party, PDP, would try to be more democratic in its selection process and hope the fallout from its primaries would not further deepen and expand the chasm within the party which is still trying to pick itself up from the recent near disintegration and catastrophe it has been faced with. Those hoping for a third force may be disappointed in the long run because it may not fly for this particular election. The time and resources needed are not there at this point in time. However, If I were the PDP, I would gauge the mood of the nation and plan to rebrand and merge with other parties. I would contemplate a change of name, like APC did, because the present name is greatly tarnished and damaged, albeit psychologically. Its recent campaigns in Jigawa and Katsina States may have however rejuvenated and emboldened them to consider retaining their present name.

Let me now address the issue of our restive youths who are clamouring for a total sweep of the old brigade from power at this upcoming elections. I sincerely doubt they would have their wish and desire in such a jiffy. I am under no illusion, or delusion, that any of our younger contestants would have the stamina, resources or experience to muscle their way through to the candidacy of either of the major parties. The obvious threat to their aspirations would be the proliferation of Presidential aspirants/candidates. The second, and more potent, threat is the ability of the oldies that they seek to depose, to clannishly stick together against an unwanted intruder. Therefore, none of them is going to emerge from either of the two leading parties. The smaller parties lack the structures to help launch and catapult them to power. I’m not a prophet of doom but I am only speaking from my personal experience in 2011. Not much has changed since then. I will now present some of the hurdles they would have to surmount.

ETHNICITY. One of the biggest diseases afflicting Nigeria today is ethnicity. It is not going to fly away readily by any magic. The most educated Nigerians behave like stark illiterates when it comes to defending their place of origin and tribe. The more States we have created, the more splintered the divisions have been. The two leading political parties have virtually, wittingly or unwittingly, zoned their candidacy to the North of Nigeria thus shutting out any chance of considering any genius from other parts of Nigeria. One of the younger candidates, like Donald Duke is already wasted, despite his wealth of experience. If he decides to try a third force, he would be stunned that most of those asking for his kind in Nigerian politics are really negligible and too few and far between. You would expect a lot of Nigerian students in particular to queue behind Omoyele Sowore, one of the greatest products of students’ unionism ever, but the students’ unions themselves are already divided along ethnic lines. Those who killed Nigerian education also killed students’ activism with it. They ensured the fractionalisation of our unions for their nefarious ends. I have spoken before of the Rwandan example, where ethnicity is now taboo, and, it is now prohibited to refer to tribe in public discourse. I believe and fervently maintain that one the greatest bane to our national cohesion, unity and development is the principle of Federal Character, which not only enshrines mediocrity and poorness, but crowns inferiority and dreadfulness. A nation that allows individuals who score less than 20% in exams to attain the highest levels of its technocracy and government can never expect to do well. Its progress is rooted in failure.

RELIGION. There is no opium stronger than religion in Nigeria. We used to tolerate religious freedom in the past, not anymore. It is one of the reasons Buhari, as a candidate, had to pick ardent Christians as his running mates in the last two elections he has contested. He actually got two Pastors, Tunde Bakare and Yemi Osinbajo, back to back, for these two contests. That was also the only reason the former Governors of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Raji Fashola, could not be considered by him. It is noteworthy that in 1993, Moshood Abiola was forced to risk a Muslim/Muslim ticket because the North told him plainly they would not accept a Christian to represent them. He got away with it because the South parades many Christians and Muslims, except in the South East and South South where Christians are very dominant. Abiola’s unprecedented popularity across the nation helped propel him a great deal and made for the success of this ticket. The type of religious tolerance that existed then has since exited with Abiola. Any Southern Christian would find it almost impossible in this coming election to get substantial votes in the North. That is too certain. This is another of our hidden, unuttered taboos that we must do away with if we are to make any progress as a nation. This will not however happen at this impending election.

MONEY. The role of raw cash cannot be over-emphasised in politics all over the world. It plays an even more crucial role in poverty-stricken nations. With all due respect, as prosperous as Nigeria is, ours is still rated as one of the poorest nations on earth. I won’t bore you with the obvious reasons. The disparity between members of the bourgeoisie and the proletariat is unbelievably wide. It is, therefore, very easy to induce the poor with what may be considered a mere pittance. The very poor constitute the highest number in any nation, and given the state of the Nigerian economy, the percentage of impoverished people is naturally larger. The influence money would play in the next election would therefore still be huge. The candidates would have to run their campaigns nationally, by road, by air and by water in the riverine areas. They need to print banners, posters, leaflets, t-shirts, face-caps, handkerchiefs, gift items, etc. Nigeria is a big country in land mass and population. Let’s even assume the new breed candidates would perform the miracle of turning water into wine, they would still need to pay for their agents nationwide, without whom their genuine votes may not be protected. This would run into billions of Naira.

This is why it is not easy to fight corruption in Nigeria. It would have been impossible for Buhari to win the last election without the avuncular support of moneybags within and outside his political party, including some very wealthy members of the private sector. Until he makes his second term, it is virtually impossible to fight all the humongously wealthy politicians in his party right now. They have to be carefully managed and jealously guarded for the party to have any chance of winning the next election. How many of such filthy rich Nigerians are available to sponsor our fresh candidates? Most of them have fled to APC while the balance of them are in PDP. While Sowore would appeal to the downtrodden who want to shut down the prevailing system, Fela Durotoye would appeal to the middle/upper class, but I’m not sure either of these classes can fund their campaigns yet in Nigeria.

Those three highlighted issues of ethnicity, religion and money are the major obstacles to getting good leaders in Nigeria. The other major problem is the confusion amongst the electorate on how to make their choice. An enlightenment and awareness campaign is absolutely necessary. For example, many Nigerians would tell you corruption is their biggest and only worry. That was the main reason we ended up with Buhari. Most of those who supported him in 2015 merely pandered to pervasive public opinion engendered by those who saw Buhari as the last remaining saint standing. Had we not tried Buhari, they would have told us Nigeria is in a mess because he was not allowed to assume power. They would assert that the free fall of the Naira would never have occurred under a Buhari Presidency and that Buhari would have wiped out corruption and exterminated corrupt leaders within a short time. This is why the APC change mantra has remained “war against corruption.” Despite the obvious hypocrisy, the APC would have to shout that slogan till kingdom come, hoping that more and more politicians would run into its fold for much needed protection, and that the gullible public would buy into the charade. This is its own winning formula. Time will tell.

The PDP would try to contradict this APC mantra by exposing the APC as a party of liars and incompetent people. There is already a tit for tat approach with PDP offering its counter list of corrupt persons ensconced and buried in APC. This melodrama would continue unabated. PDP would have to be an umbrella for all those who feel Buhari would victimise them if he comes back to power. This would be the biggest attraction to hard core politicians. APC may suffer a major setback and lose a large chunk of its big names in the near future because of the palpable distrust between the party chieftains.

These looming elections promise to be one of high stakes and protection of vested interests. It is a chance for Nigerians to embrace true change not just in personnel, but also in their approach to the selection of their leaders and their demand for accountability and improvement in governance.

Time will tell.

The Ultimate Humanitarian, The Passionate Love, The Maximum Sacrifice.

There is so many rituals in christiandom but for me Easter stands out because of the symbolism of its celebration, the message it instills in us and the simple way it provides solutions to all our problems.

We are dust and dust we shall return, Every human and God born of flesh must surely loose it someday. Its just a matter of when so please tread with caution and never forget to be Happy.

The symbolism of the death of Jesus Christ is telling us that as humans its obligatory that we solve our problems humanly, God chose to be human to save humans telling us that we humans have the destiny of our specie in our palms, yes of course he paid the maximum price at the cross and we are saved but that's not just it, being saved from the gods wrath is different from saving our world from overbearing and insatiability of human nature, man's greatest problem has always been fellow man and God gave us the light on how to remedy this self inflicted doom "Little Sacrifice" Just help humanity with a little fraction of what humanity have offered you on a platter of gold.

It really beclouds my imagination and sensibilities why our economically top 1% keeps on accumulating wealth and stampeding any germinating vegetable. Their self centeredness is at best unexplainable and at worst wickedness cloned in stupidity, they seem to forget that their current status either emanated from exploration of human and material resources that humanity made available or exploitation of same at which case is a result them being humans. Please its no longer a matter of rightfulness or wrongfulness of your wealth, we have all conceded that since you are the one that amassed it, its yours but please give back to the society, give back to humanity even if its 5-10% of your earnings empower people, invest in people, invest in humanity. Stop dreaming of becoming the only iroko tree in your forest because sooner than later the weeds will wither away and you might find yourself in a desert as a result of your dispositions and the wind won't spare your branches either, remembered dust we are and dust we shall return.

Our religious leaders are not spared in this indefensible material aggrandizement, I followed with keenness coined in bewilderment the recent debate and outbursts about tithe both on social and print medias and am not here to pass verdict but I don't understand the insensitive reasonability in living an extreme luxurious life as a purported man of God when 95% of your members are living in abject poverty, why would you have private jets when there so many homeless congregants of yours, how could you build schools with congregants little contributions with the ones unable to contribute much working as Payless labourers believing they are working for the lord only for you to fix the tuition fee at what they can never afford, why would you as a man of God choose to pray for someone acutely sick instead providing resources for medical treatment but once you have headache you go for medical checkup and treatment. Hypocrisy is the most unholy of all sins and religious leaders is the second greatest enemy of Nigeria after politicians.

I don't want to talk about politicians for their thought might corrupt my Easter celebration but I hope we could effect a change come 2019.
For this easter celebration am calling on us from all walks of life to emulate Jesus by sacrificing a little of our resources and time to provide succour and relive to those that need it more than we do. Remember dust we are and dust we shall return.

HAPPY EASTER BELOVED

#Hello tomorrow ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#When they read us, they will laugh and wonder how
Yesterday was not kind to this generation.
#They will wonder with all the information at our disposal how we let things get this bad in less than three years.
#Our grandchildren will read this moment in history and imagine how foolish their grand parents were.
#They would imagine why, after all we had read about buhari, after everything buhari himself had said before 2015, we were still stupid enough to vote him.
#History is a funny moment to explain, as we question the rationale behind lumping us with the north today, irrespective of that decision probably being the best decision when it was taken, our great grand children will wonder how buhari could have happened if we were thinking pple if we had brains at all, and if those of us who had any kind of brain, used it.
#They will not see that 12million of us tried hard to avert this danger..
#They will read chibok as a scam, and wonder how we fell for it.
#They will wonder how it was possible for all of us to sit back and watch soldiers paid from our common wealth kill fellow citizens, because they blocked the road.
#The future with wonder what kind of democracy we practiced when courts issued orders and presidents flagrantly disobeyed them, whilst going back to same courts to have and find justification ET' validation for carrying out hideous acts and deeds.
#The future will not know the names of those who insisted the devil was the saviour. And why.
#It wouldn't bother about the political clout of jagbajantis of bourdilon, or the pussycat of ubinna, no, all the future will see is 1hundred and 8ty million fools.. And the future will be right.
#It will wonder what got into us? How foreigners could be allowed to kill our people, and why we were busy arguing about it instead of taking action.
#THE future will ask what buhari ever did to warrant is arguing if he knows what he was doing.
#The future will ask why this post was written without a single question mark, while everything here used to be a question.
#The future will wonder why you are still wasting time reading my lamentations, instead of strategizing, and collecting your PVC.
#SHE WILL BLAME EVERYONE OF US, FOR THE ACTIONS OF JUST A FEW
#The future will look back at this moment in history and label it the real dark ages.
#And the future will be right.. for they would never contemplate repeating the biggest mistake of a generation.

PoliticsWhat South Can Do For North In Nigeria. by mrroy91(op): 12:35am On Mar 20, 2018
Between Northern massive underage voters registration and Southern massive under Registration.

I am an advocate of one Nigeria irrespective of how flawed it is currently to the extent some have questioned my sanity but I remained firm and am still firm because I recognize the viability of our strength in our diversity if properly harnessed. Nigeria have failed me but I have not given up yet. Not just yet.

I will say it again and again that northern Nigeria is in abysmal state not because of lack of political and economic platform of development but of deliberate political maneuvering to ever perpetuate them in absolute darkness so that they can be easily manipulated by evil conspiracy amongst their political, Traditional and Religious leaders. Northern retrogressiveness is the most lethal weapon of their elites.

SOUTHERN INTELLECTUAL PROWESS AND THE ACCOMPANIED POLITICAL CURSE.

Northern elites have studied the south and concluded that Western education is criminal because of what it has done to the south politically, where everyone is an island of knowledge, where collectivism has been proscribed and individualism celebrated, where traditional and cultural institutions are bastardized, where wailing here and there is considered more important that action etc
I just wish the south especially the southeast will identify collective interests and use collective affirmative action to drive it.

While the north is using their retrogressiveness and political maneuvering to massively register underage for voting, getting ready for 2019 to continue to determine the affairs of Nigeria as they deem fit with no regard to human capital development.

South is using their intellectual sagacity to watch BBNaija, shout over2.5 at bet9ja and most annoyingly the unprovoked senseless fight between Igbo and Yoruba on social media branding themselves ipob and afonja respectively with unimaginable insults flying around. its pathetic at least.

Some will give excuse for their political indifference as " vote don't count" please who can explain to me why others are massively registering underage and why INEC is deliberately deploying more personnel to some sections of the country for easy registration while others are struggling to register.
Vote will count what won't count is your political apathy.

If you are educated and you don't know how important politics is to your future just know you are half baked.
If you are youth and you don't know that your tomorrow is fast waning please think about your life.
If you are a southerner and you don't know majority of northerners are in bondage you are uninformed.
We have to show them that there can be collectivism in intellectualism maybe then they can liberate their people to go to school and provide the necessities for their education which will be the best fight against insurgency in Nigeria.
Please let's show them the light by getting our PVC massively.

You might not know but we can help liberate our brothers in the other side by beating their leaders to their game through massive electoral participation.
We need visionary and purposeful leadership in Nigeria to bring the desired change but it won't happen if we don't get involved.

Get involved
Tell others to do the same
Help others do the same
Make sure you collect your PVC.

VICIOUS CIRCLE OF IDIOCY.

Its with great disbelief and bone marrow arrest that I watched the video of Shuaibu Moni, a Boko Haram commander threatening more bloodshed and laying claim to being in control of sambisa palace,
Ordinarily I wouldn't be much concerned about boko boys videos but this one struck me like thunder, this Shuaibu Moni was captured by the previous administration and detained until this government of inept stupidity was enthroned and finally we are back were we started.

The international practice on war against terrorism is that governments don't negotiate with terrorists for any reason but our government murdered rationality not just for negotiating but for paying ransom to and releasing terrorists in exchange for their captives

This begs the question: is it that this government best intension is turning into a national disaster or that they are deliberately sponsoring terrorism in disguise of fight against it.
What guarantee does this government have that this Shuaibu Moni is not going to orchestrate more attacks that will kill more than the number of girls exchanged for his get back to work deal.

If you pay terrorist you equip them with resources to equip themselves with arms and ammunitions to kill and maim more, whether this common sense analysis is in sharp scarcity in this government or they are deliberately formatting their brains is a question left for the gods.

Being paid by our government for the release of the girls they kidnapped has empowered boko-haram to kidnap more because a seemingly endless windfall has been opened to them, after ransom for dapchi girls must have been paid, its just going to be a matter of months if not weeks to identity and coordinate another girl school visit.

Or maybe its just a case of an attack on boko-haram is an attack on the north where I can validly conclude that ransom paid to boko boys is remuneration to the north.

Once upon a time a governor claimed to have traced terrorists that murdered his citizens and paid them to stop killing but few months after the said payment we started witnessing coordinated attacks and incessant arm carrying by the Paid group, maybe its just a coincidence but for me I have stopped believing in coincidence long time ago.

Summary: either by over sense or lack of common sense, actions or inactions, sensitivity or insensitivity, rationality or irrationality. APC HAS FAILED EXPONENTIALLY IN ALL SPHERES OF GOVERNMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES.

Please get ur PVC enough is enough.

PoliticsWhere Buhari Failed That No Reasonable Leader Should “DIPLOMACY” by mrroy91(op): 12:03pm On Jan 16, 2018
Diplomacy according to the English learners’ dictionary is the tact and subtle skill in dealing with people so as to avoid or settle hostility. Some people due to their contemporary situations have misinterpreted diplomacy to be a way of hiding the truth in order to get what they want especially in foreign relations. Whether you see diplomacy as a subtle tool to manage situations or not, it does not negate the important role which it plays in national peace. There's is an aspect of diplomacy which I choose to call economic diplomacy, I define it as a subtle way of handling economic situations to avoid economic quagmire. This brings me to the first point, when the new government of APC entered the corridors of power, in their zeal to get everything done in record time; they threw economic diplomacy out of the window.

The president first said that Nigerians are corrupt which is to some extent true but also America is corrupt but the president of America does not come out on national television to say they are corrupt; he tries to handle it diplomatically to ensure that the national image of the country is protected. The implication of what Mr. President said on the economy is the reduction in the investment in the country because no one wants to invest in a corrupt country. Investors try to reduce risk as much as they want to increase their profits. Imagine the number one citizen of a country saying that the country is corrupt, you as an investor wouldn't want to invest in the country so as to avoid losing your investments. This statement as much as it tries to portray the truth is a great disincentive for investment and has resulted in abysmal loss of Foreign Direct Investments to other competing African countries.

When everyone is exonerating this administration on the bases that they are yet to settle down irrespective of the hardship being witnessed and not minding the fact that they claimed to have the magic wand to make all our problems disappear immediately they take over, the minister of agriculture in his professional sagacity initiated speculation when he predicted that a bag of rice could rise to $40000 by December 2016. As much as this could have been true looking to the fact that dollar was persistently rising as against the naira on daily basis. The statement alone triggered the price of rice to increase more than 28000 before August.
This might be hard to understand for someone who is not an economist but Let me use basic economics to try to explain this. Speculators in a market make use of information and trends in the market to predict the future price of goods or services to cheat the market. This pronouncement made the traders who are at all times inherent speculators to hoard the goods in order to make windfall profits when the price of rice increases in the future. This reduced the supply of rice in the economy and coupled with its increased demand, the price of rice rose sporadically immediately and that kickstarted the incessant food scarcity, famine, starvation, malnutrition, and poor health that has defined this administration. If our ministers and president knows that there statements can be used as unwritten laws because of their positions. They should know that what they say can trigger the economy to nosedive. Hence there is need for economic diplomacy in our statements.

This is just two out of many that if this government is in my shoes, will call it economic hate speech.
Extract from thinking aloud series.
