You’re the best, this is extremely helpful. Thank you so much!
You welcome,

I have a travel group called Naija Tourist, we do group tours within Nigeria especially the south west.

However we haven't been active lately due to some distractions here and there. Our last excursion was about 4 yrs ago.

I still travel regularly within the south west mostly for business.

I'm here if you need any information, tips etc.

Thank you so much for asking this - it’s such a great question. The short answer is yes, I will be. However, in light of COVID-19, I’m just waiting for travel to be more safe internationally. Taking a long flight with a face mask, is not easy and while I’m fully vaccinated and ready to travel, many places aren’t open or functioning at a capacity that is ready to receive tourists.

My plan is to come back and visit Nigeria in 2022 and will outline my travels once my dates are nailed down. Any suggestions of places I should visit? Abuja will more than likely be my base.
I can recommend a few places in the South West.

1. Idanre Hills in Ondo ( a mix of adventure and history )

2. Erin Ijesha waterfalls

3. The historical city of Ile Ife ( the museum, Oonis palace, Moremi Statue and the University )

4. Lagos. The city with some amazing Vibe. Explore Badagry, Lekki arts and crafts market, the Museum in Onikan, If you love some social life. Too many options to choose from.

All the best

How about internet? How good is internet in Osogbo please?
MTN is the preferred network in Osogbo. Get an MTN modem. Works fine.

Glo is fine in some places too.

if it's for a group, please I will take to take the opportunity as well. depending on the timing though
Proposed period:

3rd weekend in the month of May. Next month.

Road trip.

Kick off from Lagos. Entry via Idiroko considered. Seme border is so messed up and the road trip via Badagry not so nice.

Accommodation: Maybe an apartment via Airbnb might be more cost effective compared to a hotel. I've seen some great deals online and safety/ security is assured via the platform.

Send me a PM we could form a whatsapp group and make it happen.

Car TalkRe: What Car Can I Buy With 1m? by mrsage(m): 1:30am On Apr 21, 2021
Buy Honda Accord ( EOD or Discussion Continues ).

Major issue is tyre pullout.

Solution:

Buy original OEM ball joints and have it installed. No tyre pullout guaranteed. Budget 20k plus or minus. Rest of mind guaranteed.

Note: 70% of Nigerian car owners don't buy original OEM parts.

90% of people here have never used or purchased one before. Be careful who you listen to.
