He should sue his bank. At 24 I'm sure he has enough evidence to prove his age. Hospital records, birth certificate, parents are still alive, siblings, pictures, school records the list is endless. He should get a lawyer to sue his bank for false accusation then request for financial settlement, if he wins the case he will have enough money to flex and enjoy life. Tell him to request for N100M Case closed. |

2.199M for which car exactly? For this used car registered over 4 years ago? |
ictplotter:You are wrong. It's a civil matter no doubt. However the Police may get involved and they facilitate quick resolution. Both parties will be invited and they settle the matter. Payment made and everybody is happy |
Bro, I suggest you do this First get a lawyer ( preferably a friend or family member who can do it for free) to write a letter on your behalf. In the letter they will inform your employer of plans to inform bet9ja head office, the Nigerian Police and a human rights organisation. Then give him a week deadline to make payment. Include your account details. I'm sure he will pay you back out of fear If you can not get a lawyer, write a letter to Bet9ja office then report to the nearest police station. Inform the officers that you are broke and you just need your money back. They will surely respond. To get your money back you must catch him in a way he will never expect. |

Our courts are locked. Judicial workers on strike Mark and all his Harvard trained lawyers will be frustrated in Nigeria. Ordinary court session in Igbosere, no parking space for their cars within the court premises. Forget it. Mark can not take you to court. One of the benefits of being a Nigerian ![]() |

You don't know anyone in Lagos and you have just 20k. ![]() Hmmmmm Waiting for the elders in the house. |
People travel by road every day. No need to worry I'm in the transportation business so I know what I'm taking about. Go to Jibowu bus park alone and count the number of buses that ply Lagos to Abuja every day. I'm sure at least 20 buses minimum. In a week that's over 1,000 people from Jibowu alone. We still have other busy parks like: Ojota Iddo Oshodi Iyanapaja Ajah etc. The security situation is bad I agree. However do not create unnecessary fear. Tips: Don't travel at night. Be vigilant Just go for the recognized bus companies like GIG, GUO, ABC, Libra etc You may decide to break your road trip to avoid night travel. Stop at a safe location, spend the night in a hotel then move the next morning. Times are hard. The fact is considering the state of the economy very few can afford to travel by air. Those prices are not smiling. Our airlines can also be unreliable. That's a story for another day. Wish you luck. |
