All this problem is because of sharing money to states and local governments every month.

Lets allow states to generate their taxes itself and take care of themselves.
People who always wait for money are usually lazy.

But the big question is: What's driving this phenomenal surge in revenue? Is it increased compliance, better economic activity, or a combination of strategic fiscal policies? More importantly, where should these extra billions be prioritized for maximum national impact?

Let's assume there were; two things would have happened: the Portuguese, who got there first and named it Lagos, would have respected the name of the place as in "Benin" or "Calabar," or would have cleared the place as in the case of the American Indians.

As I stated, no Yoruba nation is ever known to be riverine. Go through your history. Go through your artifacts. You will never see any evidence that linked the people to tools or means that helped them live or move around water bodies.

You can find it with the Calabar, Ibibio, Urhobo, etc. Check their history and view their historical artifacts.

Which one is foundational census? First census when the colonial masters had arrived is now the foundation of Lagos. Eko people take back your city from thieves.
