Wow...hearing this for the first time. Does it mean that rig workers aren't migrating to Australia.I heard that Engineers particularly off shore personnels have good prospect there.Thank you for your candid advice.

The occupation that can match his experience is not on the skilled occupation lists.

You should look into the Canada migration.

OK,my husband's job specification include oil drilling,servicing of well and heavy duty machines.Simply put,he's a rig worker.

What do you mean by a field engineer? What aspect of engineering does he do on the field?

For you, I can't think of a stop gap occupation due to your experience except you start the AHPRA process which is long and expensive.

Alternatively, write the UK PLAB exams. After qualifying to practice in the UK, you can stay one year there and then move to Australia.

The process for foreign trained doctors is long and cumbersome.

Please I'm in dare need of help. I don't know how to go about this Australia PR. I'm a medical doctor and the information regarding the steps for doctors is soooo scanty. Please any doctor in the house who have started this process. Let's go together bikoo.
