I don’t have a studio, all I have is just a small sewing area.

That looks very nice. You can take pictures of the stages to get to the final product.
My bad...hubby takes pictures and I am always in a hurry to finish up and move to the next project.

Please share your design and tips here. good luck
I will share my designs...

I am currently trying to make up my mind on two software that would give me full control of any design pattern to be embroidered. The prizes for the software's no be here. Yet again functionality would be the base of my choice.

FashionRe: Why Men Cheat. by mrsojiugo(f): 9:24am On Feb 14, 2018
stixxx:
It can be scientifically proven that man by nature was designed to cheat and it only takes personal control of his body to resist the temptation-(which isn't an easy thing to do).Statistically, millions of sperm cells are produced and stored (more like locked up or imprisoned) in the epididymis on a daily basis. During Sexual Intercourse, millions of sperm cells are in competition to fertalise just one egg from the woman. At the end of the day, only one sperm cell wins the race leaving the other millions to wither (in other words useless) with no other egg to fertilise. This in turn gives a man the urge to look for other eggs from other women to fertilise due to insatiable sperm cells. Hence, men are by nature polygamous, regardless of how much they love their spouse. A woman on the other hand who is crazily in love with her man finds it very hard to cheat on him (afterall only one egg can be fertilised at a time). A woman cheats easily only when she's no longer emotionally attached to her spouse. cc.lalasticlala
Not my Man...Op the caption could have been, 'Why some men cheat'.
Would be nice if you had provided detials of this study on which this hypothesis was based grin

pls I need a electric/manual machine that can sew, lock stitch, buttonhole and other decorative stitches
May I ask if you have a model of electric machine in mind
FashionRe: Sewing for beginners by mrsojiugo(f): 12:33pm On Feb 12, 2018
Rubyventures:
How much is this?
N53,250.00 - I needed to get a second opinion and have it. I use the same plastic brand you see in the videos uploaded previously, but you know how it can be with plastic.

If not for my embroidery machine and its accessory which I had planned for 1st quarter 2018, I would have included it as well.

AlphaHandMaiden:
An electric sewing machine should be fine. You may want to just check the power rating of the motor to make sure it is not too high for your generator This is in Watts. (W)

For example an iron or other heating equipment can take up to 2000W, a microwave like 1200W. That is why people tend to switch off other items if they want to iron as it takes a lot of power.

A sewing machine is around 100 W. So you should be fine. But just check to confirm when you go and buy it. It is part of the information that should be give on the carton or it will be written on a label maybe under the machine that has the model and serial numbers.

Other things to check:
Number of stitches the sewing machine has. This should include the basic straight stitch, zig zag, Blind hem stitch, elastic stitch, button hole stitches and 1 or 2 decorative stitches.
Any attachments it comes with such as machine feets
The weight and if it comes with a cover or bag that you can store away easily when not in use or carry really from place to place if required. .
Very key advice...

Interested in this thread. You guys are inspiring.
Alphahandmaiden,Ynnk,Tatacherie,Katchycoutoure and all.
Maradelkitchen,this ideaa is superb.

My queation is for a newbie I want to get an elextric sewing machine to try my hands at sewing for fun.Is it better and can generator power it?
Another thing I have noticed is your choice of thread and fabric can be a huge difference between having fun sewing.

So when you get the electric machine that meets the boldened area above ensure you use the manufacturers recommended threads if you want to have fun sewing wink and also a good selection of needle sizes curse you need to change needles after a certin number of projects

thanks for your reply....is it compulsory to learn how to sew with this patter drafting, cos most tailors around where I live don't use it
A fashion designer is not a 'Magazine style' Crafts Man or Woman. A fashion designer would look at the client and be creative, make a dress that suits the clients body type. What we have all over the place are tailors, if there is passion for this kinda craft then that passion would take you through learning it the right way.

Thumbs up to you OP, I am yet to get around making videos. Whats your take on the Fairgate Fashion Designer carryall case, I am thinking of upgrading to it?

Car TalkRe: Automatic Gearbox Problems by mrsojiugo(f): 12:41pm On Feb 24, 2016
casid:
Hello cardoctor,

I have a gear problem with my Honda accord. All measures have been tried and to solutions but I have made up my mind to buy another gear. I need your brotherly advice on what to look at for before buying it because our people are funny when it comes to matters like this. They claim to sell a tokunbo gear but sometime it is a repaired one. Kindly advice on the gear oil to buy, if it requires scanning after/before and other things to watch out for.

Again, lights like ABS, SRS and Engine check displays and the mechanic said if I change the gear box, they will all disappear.

Thanks for your help and other suggestion is welcome.
Sir the mechanic has no idea what he is talking about. If those lights are on, its for a reason. Have your car scanned, by a professional. The professional would query the error codes and tell you what the culprit is. There is not link between ABS - Automatic Brake system and SRS - Side Restraint System of your seat belt to Gear Box. Engine Check light - maybe (depending on what code caused the check engine). Have your car scanned. Kindly state vehicle location so as to have a professional referred to you.
