I have to say, I'm not convinced dropping Rooney alone will be the solution to our attacking sluggishness. I think Jose still needs the right tactics as I'm not convinced we have a good enough number 10 in the squad to persist with the current formation. The current formation will not get the best from the team. |

Stats show we have run the least amount of all the teams in the league. Every single team in the league has covered more distance than we have.
No prizes for guess the top 3 in distance covered? Yes the current top 3 teams in the league. |

Well we should be panicking. At this rate we'll be lucky to finish 7th. There is nothing to suggest Jose has made any sort of impact in this team. I'm surprised you guys arent getting a sense of dejavu when watching the team. Its all so pedestrian. Only difference between this Jose team and LvG's is that we're not playing pointless and aimless passes.
The midfield and attack still lacks pace and mobility very badly. This was never addressed.
Seems we also bought Pogba without knowing what he's good at. Never playing in a midfield 2. Never. I wont go on and on again about Rooney. I said it before, as long as we continue to shoehorn him into the team, we'll never do anything. We simply wont finish in the top 4 this year.I'll take a bet with anyone on this right now. If Rooney continues in the team as it is, we will not finish in the top 4.
It also wont be fair to blame it all on Rooney. Jose is the main person at fault. He hasnt imposed any style of play on the team and he doesnt know what his best 11 is.
The team doesnt have the legs to press. We simply do not press teams then wonder why we cant dominate games.
If you guys are hoping we'll magically become awesome then you're in for a shock. |

Pogba ina midfield 2 is still a problem but very attacking lineup. Lets see. |

We cant really press high because the make up of the team hasnt got the players to press high. We have very little pace and mobility in attack and midfield. JM has never really been a high pressing type of coach I dont think. |

This Liverpool team will definitely put up a title challenge this season. Their main strength is the whole team can actually run. Our team is so sluggish it's painful. I'm still upset about us not signing Mane who would have been perfect for us. |

Poor first half. The attack is completely disjointed. Defensively we look good but Darmian and Rojo look like they can make a mistake any moment. There's more security from midfield but it has zero going forward. Rashford ao isolated. 2nd needs to improve. |

SailorXY: I believe he's not serious with his career. I believe in his abilities & all but if I was Jose I'd terminate his stay @ the end of the season. You're kind enough to let him see out the season. I would send him packing to any club on the 31st of December. |

I suspect Henri Miki will find it hard to get himself back in the team as he was obviously not fit and had a shocker. Jose probably won't forget that quickly going by his interview after the match. Lingerie was Joseph mistake because he shouldn't be having his first start of the season in a highly intense Derby like that. He probably needs a few more matches. Maybe he'll get another chance against feyenoord. Hope to see a few others get a chance in this match.
Also the sooner Smalling and Bailey are allowed to develop a partnership the better.I like Blind but he should not be our first choice cb. |

landinfo: Rooney is not the only problem affecting Utd but I trust Pep for one thing..........He would BS the world & send Rooney on loan OR sell him off @ OLX. Pep is a no nonsense manager that Utd would have enjoyed for yrs to come~~~yes, I see City struggling soon but they would come of it.
There must be something Mourinho hasn't told us that is still keeping Rooney in the starting 11 or [b]is he scared of backlash from Fergi or Charlton or he doesn't want to make mistakes or what It's surprising cos I have always known Mou to be fearless like Pep but make i dey watch this mth & the next. He's always liked Rooney for a long time. I don't see him dropping Rooney soon to be honest. |

SailorXY: how would you select from this group? I know the line up will be unchanged from last game tho. I'd go with a 4-3-3 (I'll like Mourinho to ultimately settle on this formation) personnel will be based on form of course
- - - - - - - - - David - - - - - - - - - Tony - - Bailly - - - - Daley - - Luke
- - - - - - - Schneiderlin - - - - - - - - - - - Henrikh - - - - - Pogba - - - -
Lingard - - Ibrahimovic - - Martial Its not realistic. While I agree that Rooney isnt good enough consistently, the fact that he can still produce moments in matches means he will still be in the team. so although I like your formation there, The shape of the team will have to be changed to accommodate him for now. |

Has anyone said rashford 15-10mins appearance this season is better that his whole performance last year.
Hazard has done well this season but for someone to imply that his 3games eclipse his performance of last season is rather senile to say the least. To be fair Hazard was terrible last season. Probably the flop of the season from all the top players. So its not hard to better that showing. |

adeyemi2015: Nah!
It's unlikely for him to bench Harry Kane, Vardy at the moment!
Let him keeps developing his striking talent at the U21, at least for now! Hope you remember he's just 18yrs?!
I'm ain't saying he's not prime at his age for the senior Team, but he shouldn't be rushed, rather he should be allowed to take a Step at a time!
I don't want him to end up like our own Adnan Januzaj! True, I'm just not sure he should remain at a level he's clearly too good for. it wont help him. Not saying he's as good as Rooney but imagine Rooney playing under 21 at the same age. simply holding back their development if that happens. |

Lana1: As far as i know, the manager has the power to recall his players from international duty early. So maybe Mourinho go fit recall Valencia b4 friday. Coz na only Valencia i fit trust on the right wing to keep Sterling in check This is not true. Valencia cannot be recalled early by the club. |
