To be honest, this is the exact reason why Ronaldo is the greatest that ever did it. He may not have had as much innate ability as the Fat Ronaldo, but he literally built himself into the ultimate player, with sheer bloody mindedness and fanatical determination to be the best.

I don't think words can truly describe my appreciation for what that man has achieved in life, and he remains a massive inspiration to me - The boy who survived an abortion, coped with absent parents and childhood poverty and hardships, and went on to become one of the greatest footballers in the history of the game constantly reminds me that I should always continue to strive for improvement.

Hard to disagree. Always felt Messi Is a more talented player but something has to be said for a player who pushed himself to such heights as CR has.

Zlatan should have like 25 goals already. his game play is terrific, he has to do more in front of goal tho. Definitely
Valencia solid as ever, easily the best in the league. -Slow down please.
Lingard is improving, works really hard for everyone.
Pogba is beginning to enjoy himself. If things go well he should be among top assists or goals.
Carrick, Mata & Herrera have been very efficient.

Memphis must be really poor not getting a look in. I hope his fortunes change, it'll be a shame to see such talent waste.

If Lingard is at left and Blind in at lb after not have a look in for weeks now.that is kind of weird.would really like to see Martial get an extended run on the left but it is What it is.

Whilst it's true that he was poor in that game. He played that game with injury and since refused to play injured thats why he's been out of the team. He's a good player though and if he went to another big club I can see him doing well there. Admittedly he's not a defensive leader.

This Lindeloef wey we wan sign.apparently he was close to signing for Middleborough just last season but the deal fell apart at the last minute and all of a sudden we're looking to spend £40m+ on him? undecided

Good to have gained 6 points on Arsenal in a week. Shame we're still 6th though.

Still, only 6 points from 2nd place which is a start. Hopefully we keep up the improvement.

Re:Smalling. While I agree Rojo has done well, I still feel he's about to cost us big pretty soon. West Brom are on a great run right now and will be extremely tough so I understand not wanting Smalling to start. The sooner Smalling is up to speed the better though. He played with injured up until the Chelsea game so that might explain his poor performances then.

Smalling is back fit and I think I want him back in the lineup even though Rojo has done nothing wrong., he seems an accident waiting to happen. Will be interesting to see Jones and Smalling partnership for about 10 games.

Herrera has definitely been one of our best players this season. He presses well, has very good movement in midfield and actually been playing some very good passes.
