The big things I want from Osi are this:

1) Hold his runs and be better about not straying offsides. He strays offsides far too many times for an elite striker.

As I type this message now, he’s had only three touches in the Gala vs Stuttgart match but has stayed offside once. He has to be tighter about this runs.

2) Being more clinical. 3 shots, 2 on target, 2 goals. I’ve seen many games where he’ll score a goal but be offsides 4-5 times and have taken 6 shots. Strikers should be efficient.This is why I really want him out of Gala. He has the potential to improve if he plays in a better league with higher standards.

I’m not saying he needs to score 3 in every match but it’s just something I’ve noticed since his Napoli days.

His team may score 5 goals but he’ll only score 1. As a striker you’d expect a bit more from him is all.

Gala vs Lille, Gala scored 4 but Osi only one.

The few times I remember him really bagging goals in a large offensive display at the club level was in the

5-1 Napoli win vs Juve where he scored 2 and honestly could have had 1 more and the 6-1 Napoli win vs Sassulo where he scored a hattrick.

I just feel in a 4+ goal fest, I’d like to see my striker scoring at least 2 goals is all.

One thing I noticed about Osi is this:

He’s not really a volume goal scorer. His team may score four or five goals in a match but he will only score one, maybe two.

I’d like to see that change.

Personally, I don't rate Pep's time at Bayern. Winning BuLi with Bayern is almost a given. It's about what the manager does in UCL.

Osi should push for a move in the January window if possible. He’s not improving playing in Turkey. Unless money is his main motive, he really should not have been there past 1 season.

David Moses, Emma Ayaosi and Mubarak Suleiman were crazily good today vs Fenerbahce. Mature young ballers. Their intensity, fearlessness, Technical skillset and mentality is awesome.

Isife off the bench also put in a solid shift.

Moses did well but he needs to be tidier with the ball. Missed some take ons and was dispossessed a few times.

I’m glad you called it out. When I called it out a few years ago some people said I was hating on dude.

I’m one of his biggest fans but this is a glaring issue in his game. Even for the NT there are many goals that were called back because he went too early.

In the season he won the Scudetto with Napoli, he had 32 appearances and 32 offsides.

Martinez for example, was caught offsides 13 times in 38 appearances.

Osi needs to do better but I fear it’s just part of his game at this point in time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Osimhen MUST get better at timing his runs/watching his line. He gets caught offsides far too many times.

I see a number of Nigerians playing for Slavia Prague. Are any of them getting looks for the SE’s senior squad?

Lookman needs to step it up at Atletico. I know Cholo isn’t playing him in his best position but he’s had a poor to start this season.

We're talking about phasing out that aging midfield and you still have hope that we will go anywhere with an Iwobi and Ndidi midfield? Are Nigerians naturally scared of trying new ideas? I mean look at your government, it's a reflection of the psyche I see here...always recycling old deadweights. What's wrong in calling up new and younger midfielders and just giving them a chance?

My brother, I don tire for our people. Ndidi is not cutting it anymore. Let's start moving forward. Only Iwobi from our current midfield I'd retain due to his forward pass playing abilities. The others we need to phase out. Let's start seeing new blood.

Nwabili needs competition. Been a bit too lax of late.

Honestly, I agree we should start looking for younger and hungrier players. If some of our players no wan put body for match, they should decline the call-up and just enjoy the international break with rest.

The pitch is bad, but that is not the reason Bruno and Osayi failed to close down their markers. Let us look at what we can control and stop trying to scapegoat what is not in our control.

If the pitch was bad, then let's struggle a 0-0 draw and win the return leg in Naija. No, we got blasted 3-0, and if it were 4/5-0 I don't think it would have flattered the GB's at all.

We need an overhaul of our squad. We can't expect different results from the same crop of players.

The midfield needs a huge overhaul. Some of these guys are just passed it.

Iwobi is a solid player for the SE when played in the right position. We saw it at the last AFCON with his passes, but he can't play the way he should if he's in a double pivot.

Again, GB has had the advantage of training and familiarizing themselves with this pitch. Its not possible to downplay this and I don't know why you're trying.

Each blame should be argued on its own merit and not be lumped together as you're doing.

My thing is we are giving too much weight to this pitch. The SE have played and won on worse pitches.

Chelle has his faults but I've seen improvements in how we play, at least in the last AFCON. If we bounce him, who do we go with?

Unless he fails spectacularly, he should be given until at least the next WC cycle.

Some of our issues are down to player personnel. We still haven't scouted some key players to solidify our squad, e.g. midfielders and proper defenders.

Abeg, anyone using pitch as an excuse for our poor performance is not analyzing the match seriously.

My brother...the two goalscorers for GB were Balde and Franculino. Balde plays in Brest in France and Franculino plays in Trabzonspor in Turkey. Are they not European based players that play on better pitches?

Why is it only our players that it's affecting?

Chelle is playing with his job. We are very impatient, the knives are coming for him soon, just one more loss like this, his job will be on the line.

But what are we being impatient for? Chelle has shown he can get more out of this squad than past managers. Our players also have to shoulder blame as well.

Was it Chelle who caused Bruno or Osasyi to defend poorly on the flanks?

Chelle can hold some blame, yes, but the players have to play on the field.
