Monday 27th April, fire gutted an NNPC petrol station at Ogba causing panic among the residents of that area.

As fire destroyed the petrol station, business owners located close to the petrol station tried their best to salvage some of their goods. A car dealership close to the petrol station was surrounded by people helping to drive the cars off to a safe distance.

Unfortunately, one of those who came out pretending to be a good Samaritan, made away with a red Range Rover Sport 2008 model.

A man pretending to be a good Samaritan allegedly stole a car yesterday April 27, while helping to remove cars from a car dealership as fire gutted an NNPC petrol station at Ogba.

Man Devastated As He Loses Wife On Their First Wedding Anniversary (Photos)

There is nothing as painful as losing a beloved one. It is an experience no one wants to have.

A Nigerian man identified as Tuleh Spanix Terhile has been thrown into mourning after losing his beautiful wife, Vivian, to the cold hands of death.

The most heartbreaking thing about her demise is that she died on the very same date they got married but a year after.

The couple happily got married on 27th April 2019, unfortunately, the day they were supposed to celebrate their one year anniversary, 27th April, 2020, the wife died.

The cause of Vivian’s death wasn’t mentioned but she’s said to have left behind a baby girl.

Her late husband took to his Facebook page to mourn the loss of his wife.

Big Brother Naija 2019 Winner, Mercy Eke has shared some inside details about her past that would come as a rude shock to many of her fans.

Mercy Eke, while speaking in an interview on the premiere of her joint reality TV show with Ike which started yesterday revealed that her mother tried to abort her.

She stated that her mother claimed to her that she attempted to abort the pregnancy that gave rise to the reality TV star because she could not imagine having another baby with their level of poverty and suffering.

The reality star further disclosed that the revelation made her vow to make it in life no matter what it takes.

Coronavirus: Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Bayelsa Record First Case, Total Cases Hit 1273, Death Toll Rises To 40 (Full List)

Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Bayelsa and Kebbi states have recorded their first cases of coronavirus which has killed thousands of people globally.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced that the four states recorded one case each on Sunday 26th April.

As at 11:50 pm on April 26th, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 91 new cases of the infectious disease, Covid-19 in Nigeria, pushing the total confirmed cases to 1273.

NCDC further disclosed that while a total of 239 people have been discharged, 40 people have been confirmed dead, also stating that Lagos cases have climbed up to 731.

JUST IN: Lockdown Extension: Nigerian Governors Agree On 2-week COVID-19 National Lockdown (Details, Photos)

Due to the rising case of the infectious disease, COVID-19 in the country, the 36 Nigerian Governors have agreed to declare a two week covid 19 national lockdown.

The decision was reached at a meeting of the governors on Wednesday, 22nd April.

The national lockdown of two weeks was recommended by the 36 state governors in Nigeria in order to further curb the spread of the infectious disease.

Recall that as at 11:50 pm on Wednesday, 22nd April, NCDC reported that Nigeria recorded 91 new cases on Wednesday, making confirmed cases a total of 873.

Chairman of the forum, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, in a statement said the inter-state lockdown had become necessary following a continued rise of in number of infected persons and fatalities recorded.

A good Samaritan woman reportedly sent 10,000 naira to a single mum who was finding it hard to feed herself and her One year during the ongoing lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic but instead of showing appreciation, the ungrateful woman mocked the amount sent.

It is no longer news that the ongoing lockdown has resulted to hunger and starvation in so many parts of the country and to make a difference, kind and generous Nigerians have decided to help whomever they could financially including providing food items to help sustain them during this hard times.

Sadly, rather than show gratitude, alot of these people complain and nag over the quantity of food or amount of money given to them as if they were entitled to them in the first place.

Recently a good Samaritan was moved to help a single mother residing in Nnewi, the eastern region of Nigeria with the sum of N10,000 for herself and son, but she got the shock of her life after she recieved series of insult in return.

Pop star, Davido's fiancee, Chioma Avril Rowland has finally tested negative to the infectious disease, Coronavirus, that is ravaging the whole world.

This is coming few weeks after the chef and nursing mother of one, Chioma, tested positive for COVID-19 upon her return from the UK.

While she stayed in isolation, Davido posted photos of himself taking care of his son Ifeanyi and urging people to remember them in their prayers.

After two weeks in isolation, Davido has now announced that his fiancée, Chioma, is free from the virus.

COVID-19: Total Confirmed Cases Hit 627 As New Cases Rise To 86 In Less Than 24 Hrs, Death Toll Skyrockets (Full Breakdown)

As at 11: 50 pm on April 19th, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 86 new cases of the infectious disease, Covid-19 in Nigeria, pushing the total to 627.

Breaking down the 86 new cases to the states they originated from, NCDC tweeted;

"Eighty-six new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

70 in Lagos
7 in FCT
3 in Katsina
3 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Jigawa
1 in Bauchi
1 in Borno

They further disclosed that while a total of 170 people have been discharged, 21 people have been confirmed dead.

NCDC also shared breakdown of the total 627 confirmed cases.

Two Nigerian guys based in Europe have taken to social media to call out the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and his cabinet over bad governance.

They were prompted to cuss Buhari out after they received a huge sum of money equivalent to 300,000 Naira from the European government of the country they are residing in to help sustain them during the Coronavirus crisis.

They slammed Buhari and other governors for their inability to provide Nigerians with relief funds that would sustain them during the lockdown.

According to them, they received free money, over 300,000 in Nigerian currency from their government without working for it, yet the president of Nigeria can not offer money as little as 10,000 Naira to his citizens, causing them to cry of hunger.

They were heard in the video uttering words like; "Ogun go kill Nigerian government, Kill Buhari, una don craze", as they left the Atm machine after withdrawing their relief money.

"Anything wey una gather in the morning for una life, una go use cry go sell all of them for night throway" one of them added bitterly.

They also angrily vowed to kill Buhari if he dares to enter Europe to force them to return to Nigeria.

We can't help but notice that the lockdown order issued by the Federal government to curb the spread of the infectious disease, Covid-19, is gradually taking its toll on marriages as we've witnessed in the past few days several dramas from these married couples.

Recently a wife found out that her husband housed his sidechic in their basement due to the lockdown.

Still recovering from the drama that ensued, another wife was captured hurling insults at her husband for farting uncontrollably through out the week and almost suffocating her with them.

Just recently a wife and husband were seen in the streets of Lagos fighting over bedroom duties.

According to the wife who kept lamenting in Yoruba language and demonstrating, she explained that her husband wants to kill her with excess demands for s3x and she can't go on anymore.

When asked if the man was her husband, she responded with; 'And so', is that why he wants to kill me?'

The man, obviously pissed off at her attitude, tried to force her back into the house but she refused adamantly asking passersby to come to her rescue.

It seems it is a lucky day for another one of Davido's die hard fan as the singer has vowed to bless his family if he provides proof that his newborn was indeed named after him.

A twitter user and a die-hard fan of Davido took to the platform to reveal to the singer that he named his newborn, 'David' after the singer because of his love for him.

He tweeted;

Super star Davido responded by asking the man to provide proof that he truly named his son after him and he will make his life a living proof that he, Davido truly exist.

Despite the measure taken by the Federal Government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, confirmed cases have continued to increase.

Nevertheless the Federal Government is still putting more effort to ensure that the infectious disease is totally eradicated from the country.

As at 11PM on the 14th of April, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC) announced Eleven new cases of COVID-19 in the state.

NCDC tweet reads ;

"Eleven new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Lagos State.

As at 11:00 pm 14th April there are 373 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths.
