Williamson should be in the list
The koko is the team need thorough rebuild, aygemang will finally get her chance
We need at least 2 players in each departments especially defence and midfield
I agree with you, she and Chloe Kelly are more focused on fashion glitz and glam than actually playing....

To me McCabe is much more better than Hinds... We really messed up with the late contract offer but a major reshuffle is badly needed to help the team compete...

I would definitely vote Mikel Arteta because of consistency; how he's guided this team from second position for the past 3 seasons to almost certainly clinching the trophy this year. But if I'm to vote for any other manager I would go for Iraola, I really liked what he's done with Bournemouth this season.
If he can stop City for us then no problem...

But this Timber injury just get as e be o. Now that White is out for the rest of the season it just feels like we could use a Timber early comeback from injury at least for the Champions league final.

It won't really be fair that we will be using a CB in Mosquera as RB in a champion's league final we've been hopeful to play in the past 20 years. I really do not fancy Mosquera in RB at all because all he does is defend and nothing else, I just wish we had a natural RB from the youth system that can play that position in Mosquera's place since Timber is unlikely to start. With Mosquera playing RB, it's obvious we will struggle to push attack through the right wing.
we will be defending for most of the game... For me ooo, I wouldn't want to see White Vs Kvicha rather cool cool

Berta should dust his his shoes and dry clean his suits. We need to do few clear outs. Another midfielder maybe and we will stop worrying about Zubi next season. I'm looking at Wharton profile. Anderson and Tonali are similar to Rice.
Zubi is having his struggles now and I remember Rice struggles earlier when the season starts too...

Wharton would be great if he can stay fit... Tonali fit the bill honestly

Zubimendi has never been in title race like thia before. He himself has been jittery and overly cautious unlike Rice who has got enough cojones to share with his teammates. Even while Odegaard was downcasted, it's Rice who told him 'it's not done'

Seeing your screenshot, na 1-1 dey ring for my mind throughout the game. NGL
I think Zubi is clearly exhausted ( he has the most minutes bar Raya in the team); seeing him misplaced a simple pass to Saka today for a promising attack irked me...

Am glad we won on a day most of our big players refused to turn up including Saka... Only Raya, Gabriel, Saliba, Ode and Cala ( the latter albeit being wasteful today) can hold up their heads today...

Watching another angle now, it appears there were two different west ham players that fouled Raya. One dragged his shirt and the other Ediot held his hand to prevent him from either catching or punching the ball out.
Watching it in real time seems like a fair goal but this pics sha...

you see Rice matter, e get as e be. He's a warrior and a fighter for sure but he makes silent errors a lot. His errors are always undermined because he puts up a fighting spirit to recover most times. This is two times that I am focusing on Rice play and seeing him direct players to pass the ball back. He go dey point to zubi to pass back, na so he been dey tell Martinelli to pass back against sporting. They play with too much caution and it's affecting their mentality how they don't even notice.
Do you know Raya received 38 back-passes only on Saturday against almighty Bournemouth...

Rice and Zubi has been mis-used playing needless minutes in a game with healthy leads...Norgaard has suffered

God help us this coming Sunday...

Abi oo
But some people will be cherry picking players leaving the manager out as if the players are doing opposite for what was instructed
Our gameplay is very cautious with heavy emphasis on ball retentions which allows most sensible teams to get back in defensive shapes when they lose the ball... I watched Spain vs Turkey ( both home and away), do you know that Merino created more big chances than Pedri and Arda Guler in both games....

I would not excuse Zubi for his bad recent performances but statistically Rice has been worse in duels and giving possessions away but he covers it up with hardworks... If it was Mosquera that did what White or Gabi did yesterday, he would have been skinned alive by the British press and Arsenal fans respectively...

I want us to win this Title and get this overtly cautious approach over with...

to be honest who wouldn't be tired. In as much as I love Arteta, I still recognise deficiency when I see one. We have been playing shit for a long time but have been managing to win games. It's been a reoccurring issue and he should have found a way to work on that. Our players play like robots controlled by positional play. No one plays with freedom and suddenly every player is making errors upon errors. Rice lost possession about 17 times yesterday and Zubimendi 12 times, when your midfield keeps loosing balls like that, it attracts pressure to the back line. Let's hope he doesn't lose to City at the etihad. Let's just hope.
This is what have been saying ; the team has been generally poor recently not excusing anyone including Rice with Team lowest duel-won % yesterday, White comical defending recently and Gabi error leading to the second goal yesterday etc....

But it all down to Zubi who we played close to 25 minutes without yesterday and still we couldn't progress the ball from deep....

Lol.

You want to pick on your most consistent player all season to make Zubi feel like his crime is not a big deal?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Carry on.

Zubi fans ehn. I fear you guys.

For context, our erratic manager removed him las las.

As for Arteta, the fact that this nonsense occurs every April since he arrived this club means the entire blame lies with him. I know some nonsense dead weight exists but that should even make him demand more players. Especially the January window. Man is averse to this window. It makes no sense!! Plus sending Nwaneri out.
Rice has been good for us so far but cherry-picking on Zubi only for bad performances today is pure Agenda to me, Only Viktor can raise his head today... For context Zubi is Arsenal's most nominated player for both EA EPL and Club Player of the Month awards...

That is recognition and a statement of Fact...

We played badly today even Gabi and Saliba were doing "Erekere" most especially in the 2nd half...

Roland17:
Right now, Zubi doesn't play as a DM in our system. Whenever we have possession, Zubi pushes higher and occupies the attacking zones Rice previously occupied, particularly last season. It is the reason he is also scoring a lot of goals. Without possession, Rice is sitting and rotates around Zubi's triangle whenever we don't have the ball. Zubi is extremely jittery with the ball under pressure, he struggles with making good decisions and prefers to keep things simple.

Rice being odds favorite for the PFA has nothing to do with Zubi, if anything it shows how much of Zubi's deficiency Rice covers. Rice has shown tremendous progress since he joined Arsenal and he is such a versatile player. Have you watched our positioning in the final 3rds of our attack? Right now, Rice is central to Arteta's tactics. After last season, we all agreed we needed to see Rice in those attacking zones more but that hasn't been the case this season because we have to accomodate Zubi. Zubi can't play the lone 6.

When we got Zubi, I thought we were getting a Deep-Lying (DLP) midfielder who positions at the 6 and helps us build from the back but that hasn't been the case. Zubi can't even receive the ball from the Raya to help us build the attack. Rather, we see players like Odegaard/ Eze come deep to build. In the absence of these players, you will notice Raya uses the width of the backline to restart possession because Zubi isn't reliable. We have seen him lose possession over and over again, some have cost us goals and nearly did again yesterday. My expectation was a player who can be incisive with his passing but we are seeing more lateral, back and safe passes from him.
It's just an agenda, the person that play safe is purportedly leading the team in line& breaking passes and has the team long ball efficiency while at same has more interceptions and second ball win rate (that dwarfs even Rice's even while he is not the DM in your words) all thanks to Rice covering his "Deficiency"? 🤣🤣...

This is the Official PL version of what you wrote ( of Zubi average positioning)... Please watch

Lol. With Partey, Rice was doing great with Chances created and his Balon d'Or ranking proved that too. You can fly with any other levels but not this "Zubi made Rice a better player" one abeg. It's really Hilarious. We all can see how terrible Zubi is at his job versus big clubs and how it gives Rice EXTRA duties at the back.

Zubi gives the panic jibe when we play top 6.

His duty is he made Rice better but every time he's watched, he's caught ball watching for up to 10 goals from opponents, aside the erroneous passes?

Okay
Then please show me Rice chances created during Partey time compared to now ( I mean the numbers)...

This is even for big chances created...

https://www.livescore.com/en/football/england/premier-league/stats/big-chances-created/

You guys want Zubi to shoulder the responsibility alone when others including Rice, Eze and Saka failed to showed up like against City, United, Forests and Liverpool games...

The play safe agenda has been squashed with the earlier BBC link which shows he plays more line breaking passes than even Rice...

I tell you. There's nobody that missed Jorg and Partey like Rice right now. Those two imo offered more to his overall fluid multitasking abilities than Zubi. He's now cautious cos e dey fear for zubi.
I laughed when I see people called out Zubi, I remember Rodri faced the same when he came in vis-a-vis Toure... Even with those 2 you mentioned Rice has never had the numbers he is having now with Zubi, 2nd only behind Bruno in chances created in EPL despite Zubi allegedly limiting him 🤣🤣🤣🤣, that he (Rice) is the odd favourite now for PFA Award and 4th in Balloon d'Or power ranking...

When it's comes to his (Zubi) job as a DM, he's leading the League in Interceptions and second ball, he even has more successful long passes than all our midfielders combined despite allegedly playing safe 🤣🤣🤣...

His tactical knowledge is acknowledged and captured better in this link...

Viktor Gyokeres has scored more goals in 2026 across all competitions than any other Premier League player, with eight of his 15 total goals for the Gunners coming this calendar year

Only Robert Pires (seven in 11 appearances) and Emmanuel Adebayor (six in seven) have scored more Premier League goals for Arsenal in North London derbies than Eberechi Eze (five in two) - BBC Sport
