BlueRayDick:For me, it's not about his positioning but his resolve to stay on his feet and fight using his body well playing to the whistle not falling down with every body-check or touches... He needs to improve going forward, Ref in England rarely awards 50-50 or tussle... Rice (MOTM for me) bar the mistake really played out his soul today as always and Mosquera pressing forced some errors from Spurs backline especially Spence... |
Fkforyou:He should actually concentrate on playing the game rather than complaining to the Ref for every little touches on him... You are not here to do fine boy, always falling for every body-check Very annoying.... |
BlueRayDick:You captured it right, he (Gyokeres) couldn't control most of the passes getting to him leading to turnover of possession to Wolves... I would not blame the Manager for his substitution, he was ineffective... |
mostob:We don't need to be defending slim advantages with the talents we have got, the only reason we are still in the title race is down to our backline as I pointed out the last time the team general play has not improved from last season, it seems to be regressing for me especially with creativity... People like Nelli, Tro would not start at Villa or Newcastle, we need an elite LW of Bayern's Diaz mold.. E pain me, na just to avoid social media and radio for the next few days : ![]() |
mostob:Please don't put Haaland in same sentence as Gyokeres who was very ineffective today as always falling like brother Bernard, Saka put him through in the 1st half and he couldn't even execute a cross in with 3 players waiting in the box and even fumbled a simple back-pass back to Saka...There are many times his poor holdup play gifted possession to Wolves today... I won't blame Arteta for hauling him off but would blame him for negative tactics of sitting off Wolves with only 2-1 advantage, we did same in the 1st leg and it almost burned us then against Sunderland, Liverpool etc... defending slim advantages against less fancy sides with all the talents at his disposal is indictable or an indictment... |
iamoyindamola:We sat off Wolves in the 2nd half, one can't blame the likes of Carragher when he says we don't play like champions.... City has been uncharacteristically woeful but it seems we are still going to bottle the League for them... Before today game, we gathered 12 points from 21 that's woeful for a championship chasing side... |
We sat off Wolves; Wolves ooo (20th on the Log) in the 2nd half what kind of negative tactics is that... I was ranting here about our drab uninspiring draw to Forest ; some people here were saying then that am overreacting and some even called me agent of doom, now with City game in hand and a visit to Spurs, Etihad to come, we are truly 4ked ... Perhaps more defensive signings would do ![]() Why are players like Nelli playing 90mins doing nothing even Saka ghosted the 2nd half and is it until Zubi gassed out cos he was clearly tired late on... Another bottling loading, the pattern is converging again.... |
Saka 🤝 Arsenal The England international has officially signed a new deal until 2031, following a verbal agreement in January. Sources have told BBC Sport that the agreement will make Bukayo Saka the highest-paid player at Arsenal, earning in excess of £300,000 per week. Saka had previously signed a contract in 2023 that was due to run until 2027 - BBC Sport

mostob:We are saying same thing that is what being non-committal means, Arteta said when asked after Sunderland match about shooting outside the D; "if the space is not in one place, it will be somewhere else" that is finding a player in best position to pass to is the 1st and best option for him... Comparing him to Wenger just nailed the point.... |
mostob:On this, I remembered the last time Zubi scored from outside the box Vs Sunderland and Arteta was asked at press conference afterward if his players now had fredom to shoot more from outside, he was non-committal saying stuff about space and others being in better position to receive passes 🤣🤣🤣🤣.... Am seeing panic everywhere online, God abeg ... |
BlueRayDick:Even Raya was shaky and couldn't control his area whenever they have set-pieces to defend...his constant changing of position destabilise the defence settings a lot of times today... He did save us late in the1st half when Gyokeres couldn't control a simple pass that led to that fast break Only Rice and Gabriel for me... |
I swear Madueke should have been left on with Saka no show since coming on, Ode failed to do the basics and that led to the equaliser ( simple eye on ball defending) and you only need to see the way Thiago conduct himself today to know that this Gyokeres na confirm Otu ( can't hold up play, to complete simple pass na wahala)... Only Rice and Gabriel showed up today even Raya couldn't control his area always looking shaky.. We are very lucky getting away with even one point sef.... |
It's funny how Gyokeres is not being called out here, just look at how a smaller man in Thiago is using his body well... Zero holdup play, his attempted passes looks horrible just giving the ball away every time He is looking like a premium Otu.... |

daveP:MLS in midfield? No way he gets easily riled up, 2 or 3 tackles and he's off ...We should be giving Norgaard more minutes abeg... At this rate the English would be cursing Arsenal come World Cup time |
iamoyindamola:Granted we played well and should be out of sight by half-time but everything went against City today ( a goal ruled out, a clean and obvious penalty denied coupled with a very baised Ref in favour of Us)... Those draw might come in painful that is why I said last time that we resembles Chelsea of 2012 capable of unexpected intermittent result and epilepsy performances They have United (2nd) next maybe we might be lucky... |
These Ladies are been very wasteful, this City packed so much threats to be this livid... Marionna always reminds of Carzola and Iniesta breeds with that curved pass assist to open scoring vs Man City... https://www.facebook.com/reel/1962295427831845/?app=fbl |
iamoyindamola:Have been saying this since even Zubi has no business almost seeing out yesterday match with Norgaard rooted to the bench... maybe Merino injury alters his plan sha |
Happy Birthday, Lessie the Baller 💯😃 ...

With their 3-0 win against Sunderland, Arsenal are now unbeaten in their last 44 at home against promoted sides (W39 D5), the longest run in Premier League history, overtaking Chelsea (43 between 2001 and 2015). - The Athletic

iamoyindamola:Do you say he lost to Wolfsburg scandalously? 🤣🤣🤣 A 119 minutes give away by Lotte led to Wolfsburg winner and losing to Wolfsburg for Arsenal can never be a scandal cos they have bigger profile than Arsenal in women football... Let's see how many points she finishes behind City... |
Saliba and Cala struggling defensively.... Kai winning all the 50-50, clearly the best player on the pitch right now... We need 2nd goal quickly... |
Roland17:It was so sad I saw this late, what has she done exactly? The Women Champions Cup will always be won by an European team because other participants are months into their off-season and they almost bottled the final in their home stadium... This Season has been an unexpectedly challenging (Struggling) one....She is comfortably out of Continental Cup, 13 points behind a City side missing it's POTY in a season Chelsea is uncharacteristically Capitulating .... This Arsenal women resembles Chelsea of 2012 (also European Champion) capable of occasional surprises but just getting by.... There need to be a squad overhaul going forward ... |
iamoyindamola:Good Stuff, Story driven but if you are expecting typical big Marvel theme fight scenes you might be disappointed... I consider it a drama than a superhero flick.... |
Marvel's WonderMan 🔥🔥 ...
|
daveP:Would they? 🤣🤣🤣 They won't blame "our Jesus, SAW or Krishna" that throw away 9 points lead for a dead rubber... E even get mind come lie to media shey Saka get injury only for him to play 80ish 2days later, nothing but misplaced priority ![]() Let just dey observe whether Apari go fy dash us this one ... |
My Lamentations start last week cos I have seen the pattern before... Remember the Saka lost penalty at West ham that led to 2 goal advantage being lost 3 years ago and so on, I see that pattern with Forest last week when we self-destruct by benching players for Inter dead rubber... Good to see others joining in ... |
iamoyindamola:@Roland17 naso Forest dropped points pained me like person wey lose money... It's open season for City now to come into the challenge... Down to 4.... |
