Arsenal Women are the first team to have scored over 600 points in the WSL after beating leaders Manchester City - BBC Sport

daveP:MLS in midfield? No way he gets easily riled up, 2 or 3 tackles and he's off ...We should be giving Norgaard more minutes abeg... At this rate the English would be cursing Arsenal come World Cup time |
iamoyindamola:Granted we played well and should be out of sight by half-time but everything went against City today ( a goal ruled out, a clean and obvious penalty denied coupled with a very baised Ref in favour of Us)... Those draw might come in painful that is why I said last time that we resembles Chelsea of 2012 capable of unexpected intermittent result and epilepsy performances They have United (2nd) next maybe we might be lucky... |
These Ladies are been very wasteful, this City packed so much threats to be this livid... Marionna always reminds of Carzola and Iniesta breeds with that curved pass assist to open scoring vs Man City... https://www.facebook.com/reel/1962295427831845/?app=fbl |
iamoyindamola:Have been saying this since even Zubi has no business almost seeing out yesterday match with Norgaard rooted to the bench... maybe Merino injury alters his plan sha |
Happy Birthday, Lessie the Baller 💯😃 ...

With their 3-0 win against Sunderland, Arsenal are now unbeaten in their last 44 at home against promoted sides (W39 D5), the longest run in Premier League history, overtaking Chelsea (43 between 2001 and 2015). - The Athletic

iamoyindamola:Do you say he lost to Wolfsburg scandalously? 🤣🤣🤣 A 119 minutes give away by Lotte led to Wolfsburg winner and losing to Wolfsburg for Arsenal can never be a scandal cos they have bigger profile than Arsenal in women football... Let's see how many points she finishes behind City... |
Saliba and Cala struggling defensively.... Kai winning all the 50-50, clearly the best player on the pitch right now... We need 2nd goal quickly... |
Roland17:It was so sad I saw this late, what has she done exactly? The Women Champions Cup will always be won by an European team because other participants are months into their off-season and they almost bottled the final in their home stadium... This Season has been an unexpectedly challenging (Struggling) one....She is comfortably out of Continental Cup, 13 points behind a City side missing it's POTY in a season Chelsea is uncharacteristically Capitulating .... This Arsenal women resembles Chelsea of 2012 (also European Champion) capable of occasional surprises but just getting by.... There need to be a squad overhaul going forward ... |
iamoyindamola:Good Stuff, Story driven but if you are expecting typical big Marvel theme fight scenes you might be disappointed... I consider it a drama than a superhero flick.... |
Marvel's WonderMan 🔥🔥 ...
|
daveP:Would they? 🤣🤣🤣 They won't blame "our Jesus, SAW or Krishna" that throw away 9 points lead for a dead rubber... E even get mind come lie to media shey Saka get injury only for him to play 80ish 2days later, nothing but misplaced priority ![]() Let just dey observe whether Apari go fy dash us this one ... |
My Lamentations start last week cos I have seen the pattern before... Remember the Saka lost penalty at West ham that led to 2 goal advantage being lost 3 years ago and so on, I see that pattern with Forest last week when we self-destruct by benching players for Inter dead rubber... Good to see others joining in ... |
iamoyindamola:@Roland17 naso Forest dropped points pained me like person wey lose money... It's open season for City now to come into the challenge... Down to 4.... |
nitrogen:sorry av done that |
nitrogen:sorry |
It's because of days like this that things don't go your way that you grabbed every points on board, no be today that hapless draw at Forests in a game that could have extend the lead to 9 was a gravely missed opportunity.... They called us Negative fans... |
Spy360:I don't know about that, he would be competing with Greenwood ( one of the best player in Europe this season) for both the RW and AM cos he played both for them depending on the opposition, even Paxiao played the AM position too regularly especially when Auba is fit... Would have preferred an EPL side even Wolves, Leeds or Burnley since the EPL would be his forte in the long term... I wish him well and good luck... |
mostob:Mosquera has always been good especially when paired with either Saliba or Gabriel so I wasn't surprised, he seems to lack a bit of understanding with Hincapie for now... Hope we can rest Sally and Gabi more going forward, am still of scared the load on Zubi he barely gets any reprieve this season |
iamoyindamola:He dey and unfortunately he's been having much of the ball but his decision making has been terrible... He has chances to play in Jesus for Hat-Trick but shoot wayward... |
iamoyindamola:Thank God, Saka destiny wasn't left to him, I feel for Ethan sha cos he was never trusted ![]() You know I said it here that Saka so-called injury is a cook-up lie to deflect the media from his rubbish decisions last weekend... Who do we have Here for dead rubber match ... Yeye Manager They should keep finding excuses for his misplaced priority...
|
mostob:Yep, they have been very wasteful at it, they should have been atleast 4-0 up by now.... |
iamoyindamola:You nailed it... None of Madueke, Ode or Eze has shown so far that they are better than Ethan of Last season either with goals or assists return... |
EXCL 🚨 Marseille are working on a deal to sign Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri on loan for the rest of the season. Nothing is agreed yet but any arrangement would include a fee that is changeable, depending on appearances, and no option to buy. There remains other interest in the 18-year-old from the Premier League and elsewhere in Europe — though some suitors wanted a permanent mechanism, which Arsenal will not allow. Marseille head coach Roberto De Zerbi has held positive talks with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Nwaneri, with the Italian and his style of play a prominent factor in the Ligue 1 side being favoured by their Premier League counterparts. 🔗 https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6980553/?source=fbuk

iamoyindamola:Atleast he has good hold up play and he understands the League... The way they are shrugging / Muscling Viktor off the ball despite his big frame dey pain me... That Ndiaye just missed a glorious chance for Senegal right now... But nonetheless a very good player |
iamoyindamola:I would have Mateta at this point over Viktor who is looking like an "Otu" by the minutes.... |
Spy360:Amorin might have gotten us across the line being a serial winner from where he's coming from... If Slot can do it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This one wey we dey Noah boats for half a decade with nothing to show, one would have atleast think MA for don get small sense but no he prefers dead rubber to 9 points lead... Apari juju strong sha... The half-baked always win the mid season title 🤣🤣🤣🤣.... |
... |
Spy360:If this perennial bottler was at United, your Saviour would have been long gone 🤣🤣🤣🤣..... Shoes get sizes 🤣🤣 🤣... |
germaphobe:E go be 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣..... |
