Well am a happily married man with two adorable kids to show off and expecting another bundle of joy by October smiley

believe me or not omalicham (ma beautiful wife) was a virgin till our traditional marriage night.

So stop talking trash

apologies. You sounded like one by jumping on my mention to call me names. Even teenagers won't do that. Meanwhile, congratulations on your virgin wife. Did she meet you a virgin too? If not, it's a sheer waste of virginity. She could have "enjoyed" her life if she was really into that life. But hey, whatever rocks her boat. Congrats on your 3rd addition in advance kiss

The issue of virginity till marriage is one that I've usually wondered about. I've noticed that nowadays it's very difficult for a lady to keep herself till she gets married as compared to back in the days.

I also noticed that some of these ladies are actually good, wife material but for one reason or the other they lost their virginity.

Is it that the modern society puts so much pressure on the girl child or what?? I don't just get it.
you were almost making sense until I realised you didn't mention anything about men having premarital sex. So, who "disvirgin" the women? Men can have sex before marriage but women can't? Who are the men sleeping with? Animals? Are you a virgin yourself? Do u think you made any sense with this post? What exactly is your aim? To bash women abi? You forgot ur mum, sisters! Aunties and your born and/or unborn daughter? Please take a walk to Old trafford stadium and have several seats. Just negodu nonsense and senseless talk undecided

I think that is what police are trying to do. Charging him to court might not be the best idea. But they just averted another bloodshed. I can't tolerate them as well. I'm tired of hearing about bloodshed. But the best way to avoid it is not to look for their trouble. Yoruba will say " mo iwa fun oniwa lounje ore jo ore" which means you should try to know everything about your friend. Know all his character so you can both live in peace.

Of course I know that one sabo will rear his head and spit rubbish... Tell me exactly the section of our constitution the man violated? That some ediotic set of people choose not to tolerate other people's freedom of speech should not be encouraged. The man simply named his dog "Buhari" which is his hero. He has other dogs that he named Obama, and Mandela, his hero too.. So the man violated no law and the Ogun State police command has no case.. angry angry

Let us not obfuscate a story that is so simple because we want to pepertuate a myth.

The man named his dog with the name of his "hero", Buhari. There is NO LAW in Nigeria against this practice.

The man went ahead to state that there was a precedence— he has named his dogs with names of other world leaders, past and present. Consequently, he has a "Mandela" and an "Obama."

There's no LAW against this.

The man has done NOTHING wrong, NOTHING illegal and nothing unlawful. Unless we want to deceive ourselves.

Nothing.

The police has not said anything about the illegal migrant who came to report a Nigerian to them. Nor about the people who killed his dog. (Where are the animal rights activists). Nor about the persons threating to kill a Nigerian man. Innocent man.

Rather it is the innocent man that was arrested.

If this doesn't describe a lawless and utterly confused society, I do not know what else would.

I will advice you to name him buhari trully....inscribe the name on its body like ur friend did.....and parade him in sabo or hausa poulated area and see the end result....for naming his dog buhari, I sincerely dont grudge him, but for writing the said name on the poor dog'g body and parading it on the street of a hausa community, he goofed and could have been mobbed by those fellows and it is your likes that will come here and shout blue murder....must u purposefully look for trouble...haba. he has rights under the law as others do too.
Jeez!!! So, becos of potential mobs people shouldn't express themselves again? if the security agencies shd arrest anyone isn't it the person that sent death threats and promised to mob? When an anomaly becomes the norm. It only happens when it is buhari or a northerner.. smh!

Seriously? You want to know how an area can heat up abi? You don't know ketere market is 99% Hausa market abi? I don't know where you stay. But please name your dog or pig Buhari or Danjuma that na popular Hausa name. Take a bust to lagos, drop at oshodi. Then from oshodi drop at sango otta. Make sure you drop at the last bus stop. Then walk further small. Don't climb the bridge oooo. Just cross under the bridge. Ketere market is your left.

When you get there enter the market and start dancing about with your dog. Don't forget the name should be written boldly on the dog. Sebi that Buhari guy was civil he had the patience to go and report at the station. If danjuma na pure aboki wey no send. Body go tell you. Then you'd have a perfect example.

He did the normal thing by reporting to the police. He didn't start fighting him. But I dont see a big deal in the issue. They should have resolved it amicably. At least the man will clean the name and apologize. That should have solve it. But those abokis too get strong head.

But the dog owner self suppose know Buhari is a popular Hausa name. And there's a 5% chance there will be Buhari in the market. Name your dog Buhari but don't write it on the dog. Some people might see the humor in it, but some won't.
As simple as that.

I totally believe this had nothing to do with the President. If he had picked danjuma or Sanusi. The samething would still happen.
*sigh. All the long epistle is to corroborate that a sect of people are violent, take laws into their hands and can kill at will. Isn't it despicable and shameful. To think you keep going on and on gloating about impunity and tyranny. *smh! undecided

killed by who? So it's fair to assume we live with potential killers? Shouldn't you be worried? Shouldn't the government provide more security in that case? That a sect of people has the backing from above to kill at will and when they seemingly get offended? Really? So, a sect of people has monopoly of violence? Woow! I thought the rule of law is supreme. I was wrong. I hate to admit it, but you just confirmed brazenly that Nigeria is truly an animal farm. Romance / Re: Why Is My Fiancee Acting Funny? She Is Not Talking To Me Since Morning by MsGlobalwonder(f): 5:26am On Aug 07, 2016
omochelsea004:
Good evening my people, there was a disagreement between me & my fiancee (5 yrs relationship) over a particular issue this morning in which i know quite all right she was the one at fault & since then she is not taking to me, even if i talk to her or ask her something she will just answer coldly.

what really happened...

Yesterday 9t we didn't eat anything solid before sleeping due to somethings, so i told her that yesterday that she should have it in mind that she must wake up early to prepare food for us to eat because am very certain its hunger that will wake us d following morning, fast forward to this morning... when we woke up she decided to prepare pounded yam, & we have all the ingredients for soup readily at home except meat, so we decided to use ponmo, so i gave her money to go & buy the ponmo that i will help her pill d yam & put it on fire before she returns but to my surprise she told me to go and buy it myself that how will she go & buy it & still come back again to grind pepper, she said is either i go and buy the ponmo or i grind pepper that its either of the two, i was very surprised because i could see she was very serious with what she was saying, she even went ahead in telling me that she knew i won't like to grind pepper so in that case that she will advice I go & buy ponmo, on hearing that i was very angry so i asked her what she meant with what she was saying, that how will i provide what both of us will eat & she is still asking me to go & buy it after dropping money, that even if she was the one that drop money for it, that that doesn't give her the ordercity to tell me to go & buy it, dat was how she started saying all sort of things, that if I dont go and buy it she won't cook any food, so i let her know that she is taking me for granted & that i won't take that from her, when she continue arguing with me & i need to let her know she is totally wrong, i now told her that i don't know her problem that there are many men around that won't even dim it fit to give there wife money to cook, & even if they do, who is their wife to ask them to go & buy it themselves using her sister's husband as an example, i now told her i am not a fool & that it is because av been doing it before on my own to help ease her that makes her feels she can send me such errands, & that i don't know why people abuse whatever they have, luckily we heard sombody hawking that very ponmo immediately after d argument, and since then she has not been talking to me up till now, i tried talking to her after but she was just ignoring me, even if i ask her question she will just answer coldly, i was now thinking am i at fault in any way from the whole scene, or why is she angry to the extent that she isn't talking to me, i think i suppose to be the one to be angry about the whole scene not her..... So romancelanders what do you think causes her reactions, because when i noticed her plan was to keep ignoring me, i also ignored her 4 her to realise she was wrong but she is not getting it, so i decided not to talk to her again till she return to her school on Monday,
first and most importantly, work on your grammar; your written English is painful to the sight and ears. Just here imagining how the spoken English will be...*sigh. And secondly, what in God's name is wrong in going to buy what both of you will eat while she is busy doing other things related to the food you will both eat? Why are boys of this generation so entitled, petty, wicked and selfish?? My goodness! While you do NOTHING, u can't assist someone u're not even married to (even if you are married to her, it doesn't give you the largesse to be cruel) to ease her burden. If they ask you now, you will reference daddy Adeboye et al. You are a wicked person! But if your friend or female colleague or boss tells you same, you'll run to do it without questioning. You are supposed to compliment each other sogbo, help her get things done especially when you can. This your case is typical.
