Memories....
I am a graduate of A. B. U Zaria and i served at College of Medical Sciences in the University of Calabar. To be honest, it's a beautiful school but backward. Way backward... ICT, STAFF ACCOMMODATION (OFFICES), QUALITY OF RESEARCH, LABORATORIES, LECTURE THEATERS, STUDENT WELFARE, FACULTIES you name it, are just in a sorry state. You can imagine a Computer Science lecturer (with a PHD) struggling with his c++ programming lecture. They still do registration manually and EVERYTHING in the school is monetized. My friends and I often called it UNICASH. LOL

Nepotism, politics and did I forget cultism

The school get fine girls sha. U can't take that away from UNICAL.

I'm not hyping my being an ABUSITE or trying to demean Bottom line is, having started in 1975 this school ought to be better than what it is today.

My humble opinion though.

Akamkpa was real fun man. I enjoyed every bit of it trust me. From d beagles, to the meditation to d man-o-war drills to the parade thingy. I even commanded my platoon mehn. Made me popular and i made LOTS of friends (ladies especially) .
Their tea (coloured hot water we call it) always had to b augmented with extra milk, bournvita nd sugar shaaaa. Oh how will i forget the everyday social night nd d entertainment it brought. Mammi happened EVERY NIGHT mehn... Boiz bin booze shaaaaaaaa. CARNIVAL was d BOMB mahnnn. Shet God go bless NYSC jor.
Above all, make sure u r close to your platoon commander, platoon officer (NYSC) and be useful in any way you can to ur platoon cos in the end na una go enjoy am.

OUR TOMORROW IS NOW!

I'm an alumnus and I know without doubt from even his classmates who are lecturing in the same department this: Dino didn't graduate from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He hasn't come back ever since to clear those THREE carry overs. The next thing his mates heard was that we was serving in Benue State. The records are still at the department, faculty and academic office. Funny enough the same Dino is currently running a master degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy in the same goddamn institution!
The man is just too loud, drawing too much attention to himself because he's Saraki's ally. DSS should request from ABU his OFFICIAL transcript and you'll see whether my words are just mere assumptions.
Karma indeed is a bitch indeed.

Why must it ALWAYS be JB that wud get all the FAT contracts in this country sef? Government isn't helping our own engineering firms in this aspect o. Later we'll be hearing "Buy Naija to grow the naira". I believe we have the capacity to deliver quality too. Hit like if you're with me.
