He could have simply said "I am John D calling from bank. That wouldnt hurt. That said, the lady should have been cautious as a job seeker that was just interviewed and expecting phone calls. It is expected when you receive n picked a phone call to respond with hello, then the person will go on to say his mind, a simple senario is wen u called the attention of someone by calling his name, will u go ahead and start talking without the person responding? I believe the persons response will signal u that you have gotten his attention before you begin to talk.....

The write up dint specify the job description, what if she got the job as a customer service representative of the said bank. Is that how she will respond to customers?

That been said, on my own part I no blame the HR but the lady.....

You are welcomed if you actually set it up you can't use it to call.
I will suggest instead of buying it and installing it why don't you buy a 4g USB modem or if you have money to spend, buy a mifi. If windows is your operating system you can make a call with the 4g USB modem, but the problem is that it is locked to a certain speed. And it's cheaper than buying the wwan card from foreign online shops

Wwan card is just like the wlan card which is the receptor for WiFi while wwan card is the antenna for a sim to work and receive broadband network

For the sim slot if you can open your laptop first remove the battery and ground the motherboard by pressing the power button for 30 seconds.
Remove the back cover look for the wlan card beside it if is a wwan card if yours have the wwan card then you can use the sim by downloading the broadband driver but if there is no wwan card no matter the broadband driver you download it won't work unless you buy a wwan card and put it install it in the system by connecting the adapter to it
For the audio try updating the sound driver from the manufacturers website
