ik'm thankful to this wonderful thread, i was able to make a decison between Stanbic Ibtc mmf, ARM money Funds and FBN MMF... due to my findings.. i settled for Stanbic MMF and ARM, and i chose the option of re-investing dividends on both platforms. But ARM Discovery funds looks attractive too, can someone enlighten me. I must also confess that Stanbic is supercool. one can montior it easily online

please can you be kind enough to do a short summary of stanbic MMF.

Nigerian Banks are on a buying spree and they are borrowing at record rates to do so. According to a Reuters article, Nigeria’s interbank overnight lending rates, the rates at which banks lend to each other, spiked to a record high of 200 percent on Thursday. The reason for the spike was no other than Forex.

Banks were reported to have made dollar purchases as the central bank sold forex in fulfillment of its promise to sustain supply. Banks are expected to sell on to customers at a juicy margin of about 20%. Purchases will only be for those looking to travel out of Nigeria either for personal, business or medical travel. Forex will also be purchased by those looking to pay school fees abroad for their wards.





This is already affecting the yields of Treasury Bills in the Secondary markets... Yields spiked UP yesterday as many banks sold off their Tbills to go and buy Forex..

Oga feelamong hope this is a strong indication that the stop rate will b high at the primary market next week. please try your best sir to keep us updated on the probably stop rate. Thanks in advance

I have never heard of Chloxy G gel. Could you post a picture of it? Who gave it to you to use because I haven't heard of people using more than spirit (isoprophy alcohol) or vaseline or coconut/olive oil on the navel.

I used chloxyG briefly before I changed to methylated spirit. I have never heard of it making the navel area dry. You should discontinue If the navel is fully healed.
My grouse with chloxyG is even that it doesn't dry the umblical stump as much as methylated spirit.

It dried the umbilical cord and when it dropped I was using it on her navel. so what will I use for the navel area or should I just leave it that way. Thanks for your response

Mamas in the house thanks for the good works. pls my baby is 11days old and I given chloxy G gel to use for her umbilical cord and when the cord fell off I continued using it on her navel. the issue now is that the navel surface is dry and hard; My mother said it's not suppose to be dry so I'm so confused. pls who else have used this product and how did you use it?
