In all honesty both Igboho and Kanu deserve to be in prisons but for different reasons and different cases.
Kanu is a confirmed international terrorist - he got what he deserved.
Igboho paraded illegal guns, publicly threatened to kill this same Ooni of ife, threatened Tinubu before he became president. Igboho suppose to be tried and jailed too but not as a terrorist. He’s too clumsy and loud. |

MNK never said anyone should destroy American embassy or USA embassy ..but he did encourage sit at home , attack on police station in Lagos and nationwide, oriental hotel etc .his broadcast is still on you tube for reference He (Kanu) actually said the bolded. Justice Omotosho referred to this during his judgement, he (Omotosho) then branded Kanu an international terrorist on that basis. |

ottersberger: The fact that Nigeria has resorted to kidnapping its own citizens , many years after Buhari's failed attempt to kidnap Umaru Dikko from London, shows that this country and the rule of law are greatly at odds with each other. The Nigerian government could redeem itself by returning Nnamdi Kanu to the place of his kidnapping, if releasing him on home soil is not an option. The bolded has been settled by the Supreme Court. As at the time Kanu was “kidnapped” (using your words) in Kenya, he was a fugitive of the law and he enjoyed no protection from the court. |

Kanu doesn’t deserve to be released.
He deserves to languish in prison for the rest of his life.
I detest all these kings trying to appeal to other tribes for validation. He should remember that Wole Soyinka went into prison for them, still they are insulting him today.
Even the Governors and Senators in the east do not want him released.
Henry Orka is languishing in South Africa prison, Simon Ekpa in Finland, so why should we allow that arrogant man - Kanu - to walk free despite all the evils he committed against the state? Do we expect the world to help us do our laundry while we as a nation look the other way? The world will only take us for a joke.
How would other people whose father, mother, siblings were killed at the direction of Kanu feel if he’s walking free.
Just as forest belongs to Monkey, prison should be the natural abode of Kanu for the rest of his life . |
Food › Re: When I Say Things Are Cheap In Nigeria, Lots Of People Will Argue With Me by MT: 11:34pm On Feb 17 |
WhiteIverson: You say it's cheap but what is the purchasing power of majority of the citizens?
Let's compare
In Nigeria, the minimum wage is 70,000. If you were to spend your minimum wage only on 500 naira bananas, you would only be able to buy 140 pieces.
In Canada the minimum wage is $16.95. Multiply that by 40 hours weekly and also multiply by 4 weeks. You earn $2,712 dollars monthly. If you were to spend your monthly salary only on bananas at $4 dollars each, you'd be able to purchase 678 pieces.
When you want to compare prices of different countries, there are a lot of factors to consider. How do you expect the prices of bananas to be in cheaper in Canada than Nigeria? At the bolded, while you are focused at his income, dont forget his expenditure. Each country pays according to the rate of inflation. If Canada pays Nigeria salary, it wont be enough to sort out their bills. If Nigeria pays like Canada, inflation will kill Nigeria as there would be many Naira chasing goods and services. Canada is obviously more expensive than Nigeria, and that salary you see they earn over there is not enough for most people over there to deal with their expenses. They complain bitterly too. |

There is no doubt that those who benefit from one Nigeria, who believe they own Nigeria will never allow the truth which Nnamdi Kanu stood for to triumph.... But they failed because in jailing him the whole world can see that he was right and Nigeria as a country was founded on the basis of injustice and oppression.... A divisive entity created to never allow the prosperity of his people to prevail. I believe that Nnamdi Kanu will at the appointed time regain his freedom...... Nigeria as a country has sealed its own fate of damnation .... If you dont mind, please state the injustice you are referring to |

Liverpool at a point were leading with over nine points, but right now, they are struggling to get into the top four. In a futile attempt to sound smart, you sound so incoherent. “To bottle it” is a British slang and it has nothing to do with Arsenal being a champion. It only means , arsenal won’t be able to do it again. |

Arsenal have more difficult run in - Arsenal Will play Man City at Ethiad stadium, they will also play Chelsea and Tottenham.
City will be playing arsenal at home and Aston Villa at home.
Their last games, arsenal is going away to Crystal Palace while city is at home playing villa.
The sign is ominous for Arsenal. This stat favours Man City. I think Arsenal will bottle it again. |

Josepholome: Aurora Lab, a Nigerian artificial intelligence innovation centre, is launching a bold invitation: bring us your toughest real-world problems and let’s build AI that fixes them.
The initiative challenges the trend of AI remaining in theory, labs, and conferences. Aurora Lab wants solutions that touch everyday lives — in classrooms, hospitals, farms, businesses and communities.
From Ideas to Impact
The hub is built around three ambitious goals: • Deliver high-impact AI solutions for Africa • Build globally competitive AI business products • Train world-class Nigerian engineers ready for the international stage
Aurora Lab says the real breakthrough is in its pipeline — one that connects people who deeply understand local challenges, engineers who can build practical technology, and partners committed to measurable results.
The Problems They Want
Submissions are open across critical sectors, including: • Education: access, quality, teacher support, learning outcomes • Healthcare & public health • Agriculture & food security • Climate & environmental sustainability • Economic development & governance • Business & SMEs: operations, growth, finance, customer engagement
Every idea will pass through a structured review. Selected problems will then be refined and co-created with partners to produce AI tools designed to attack root causes — not just symptoms.
The Bottom Line
If you see a challenge slowing Nigeria or Africa down, Aurora Lab wants to hear from you.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BwhPnUasR/?mibextid=wwXIfr They should use AI to solve the mystery of cancer. The work has been waiting for cure for what seems like forever. |

naptu2: Kanu Family Battles IPOB Over Sit-At-Home
Nnamdi Kanu created the Directorate of State (DOS) to run IPOB if he was detained. The DOS took over the running of the organisation after Kanu was jailed in 2021. Mazi Chika Edoziem is the director of the Directorate of State.
Kanu also made other orders at the time. He told the DOS to appoint Simon Ekpa as the lead broadcaster on Radio Biafra. However, the DOS sacked Ekpa because he was not following instructions.
Kanu created the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and its commander is Chinasa Nworu.
The Kanu Family has battled both the DOS and Simon Ekpa since Kanu's detention because it wants to play a more central role in IPOB. However, Nnamdi Kanu and the DOS have said that IPOB is separate from the family.
Kanu's brothers, especially Kanunta and Emmanuel Kanu want the February 2nd, 2026 sit-at-home protest to go ahead, but the DOS is obeying Nnamdi Kanu's earlier order that the sit-at-home protest has been cancelled.
IPOB DOS and Nnamdi Kanu's lawyers have said that the protest has been cancelled, while Kanu's brothers say that the protest must go on. Kanu's brothers are supported by BRGIE, the organisation set up by Simon Ekpa.
