Sure, must be different cos most of us are wicked people. I have seen civilians wearing military camouflage and pretended to be military officers at Allen Avenue, Ikeja. They collected Dollars from Bureau De Change and ran away with it in their car.......

In context of Abroad that you mentioned, the Western Countries have grown over such insecurity we encountered here every day.

It's irrelevant if you wear camo abroad as long as you don't put on the full regalia of the military........
Why would camo-wearing military usurped the role of a police and be allowed to flee with foreign currencies.

Camo shouldn’t be blamed for the ignorance of people. Those thieves could as well put on suits and did the same thing. Camo should not be blamed in that context you cited

Two wrongs, it was wrong selling them in the first place due to the level of insecurity in the country. It was also wrong of the soldier destroying them. He could have just seized them.
Who gave him to seize or destroy another person’s property?

On which law or authority is that premised?

The United States is under humongous debt and she is looking for resources and means to fill her black hole.

It’s unfortunate it has come to this - this is daylight robbery.

The more the global resources are being depleted, the more big, powerful nations would be eyeing resources from weaker nations through total domination.

The world is entering a completely new phase.

I will wait for what she will say when the US militarily attacks Greenland, a NATO partners territory.

Let Kemi be playing politics.

EU has put themselves in a place to be trampled upon by the US due to courting favours from the US. They have what it takes economically and militarily to stand on their own but they won’t because they are used to spending money on social services for their citizens while looking up to the US for military defence.

The hen is gradually coming home to roost.

AFCON 2025: Akor Adams leaves Super Eagles camp after 4-0 win over Mozambique

Super Eagles striker, Akor Adams, has left the team’s camp following their 4-0 win over Mozambique in the last 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

This was confirmed in an update shared on the team’s official X page.

The short statement confirmed that Adams was granted permission to be with his mother who has been hospitalized.

It read: “Akor Adams has been granted permission to leave camp to go be with his mum, who was hospitalised yesterday.

“We’re sending prayers and strength to him and wishing his mum a quick recovery.”

Despite receiving the news before Nigeria took on the Mambas, Akor went ahead to start the game and scored the last goal.

It remains to be seen if the Sevilla striker will return in time for their quarter-final clash against either DR Congo or Algeria on Saturday.

US Govt needs to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt.

Maduro and his wife too have some leeways.

Can a sitting president be tried in the US court?

They would even claim they were kidnapped in their homes

They would even say the charge was frivolous as the main intent was to steal their oil and regime change, citing Trump's comment.

Lot of legal fireworks coming with the eyes of the world watching as the drama plays out.

Gerundphrase:
I know America is evil but modura guy is a dictator. Man lost election by a landslide but won't vacate seat
If Maduro was a dictator, there are set of tools within the international laws that could address that.

It was not for a US govt to unilaterally come to kidnap him.

The legality of US action is being debated in the UN right now and the US allies are in a very difficult position to even defend what the US has done.

Spanish Foreign Minister even said if we condemned Putin for what he is doing in the Ukraine, we should find the courage to condemn the US action in Venezuela.
Foreign AffairsRe: Maduro Heads To Court For Arraignment (photo) by MT: 6:37pm On Jan 05
This case is unprecedented and there would be a lot of legal fireworks.

A President of a sovereign country has been abducted by the US - That was a blatant violation of an international law.
Trump saying they are now in charge and that the US are in the business of selling Venezuela oil has certainly complicated the case. This could be shown as an intent by the defendant counsel.

Maduro would be seeking to kill this case on a technical ground while the US would be arguing that he is not the president but a de facto leader.

It would get so interesting and it could swing either way.

PoliticsRe: Venezuela Crisis May Create $10 Billion Hole In FG’s ₦58 Trillion Spending Plan by MT: 10:31am On Jan 05
There is no way happening in Venezuela would affect Nigeria.

Venzuela crude oil is quite complex to refine and it would take very long years for the infrastructure to be put in place in order to increase their output. Infact most of the oil companies are developing cold feet from taking the risk of investing in Venezuela.

So how will this affect Nigeria budget?

Junk journalism.

China is too cowardly.
It seems Russia is the military power of brics whereas china is the economic power of brics.

But Russian military is occupied right now, and china just can't fill in militarily for Russia.

At this point, anybody entering an alliance with china (economic or military) is just signing his death warrant because china is a cowardly nation uner xi.

Brics is almost entirely dead right now, only Russia, Iran and north Korea can afford to be in brics because they can defend themselves.
China is NOT cowardly.

Unlike the US, she DOES NOT sign a defense pact with any countries.

Kingsley34:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0el1CmznpgM

Prophet Ritabbi delivers divine revelations straight from God about what 2026 holds for Nigeria and beyond!
In this must-watch prophetic session, hear shocking predictions including:
Political Upheaval: Nigerian leaders are "very sick," leading to power tussles. God will send a "young boy" (an unknown figure from outside the country) to take over rulership, forming a new political party, jailing or massacring corrupt politicians, and restructuring the military (creating a new outfit and disbanding the current one). Old ministers will be re-employed, and state police will be approved.
Economic Shifts: Dollar, fuel, and food prices will crash to all-time lows. A new tax reform will spark demonstrations and be pulled back. Nigerians should invest 75% in property and 25% in cash, as banks will merge to meet new Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) requirements, causing some to lose money due to account issues. Chinese entities will introduce a low-interest bank that eventually absconds with funds.
Natural Disasters: An earthquake will cause havoc, particularly in a southern state (implied to be Imo, linked to oil resources). Excessive flooding with early rainfall starting in January. Fire disasters in markets and companies.
Regional and Social Conflicts: Oil in Imo State sold to foreigners, leading to "slavery" and division among states. Igbos (Easterners) will face resentment and lose investments in Lagos due to demolitions and hatred from the West (Yorubas), while Easterners hate Northerners but love Westerners. Segregation in marketplaces between Christians and Muslims.
Personal and Legal Events: Arrest of a former president's wife by the EFCC. Family disputes over a widow's remarriage, revealing secrets about her husband's death and hidden money.

Why you no quote laws when Nigeria kidnap MNK. huh
The Supreme Court ruled on that. As at the time of his kidnap, he was a fugitive of the law and he enjoyed no protection or rights under the law.

Kindly do not derail the thread.

It’s not my words, just quoted Supreme Court of Nigeria judgement for you.
