@sanchez01 Most channels are viewed with mpeg-4 or HD decoder. You wouldn't enjoy FTA with mpeg-2. I'd advice you to get HD decoder to enjoy FTA.
REASON: HD decoder can view a HD, Mpeg-4 and Mpeg-2 channels. Mpeg-4 doesn't view HD channel.

Rrsat is on Amos 5... Rescan or blind scan to get it.

Rrsat promo is always showing... Rrsat promo 1 and 2 only shows the period they want run a show (mostly football)

If you know any installer, he'd explain more. If you have the money, buy a bigger dish and enjoy FTA live matches. No monthly subscription or whatsoever.

DSTv is only a waste of money when there are lots of FTA

Buy a bigger dish from 1.8meter up with free to air reciever like strong, qsat e.t.c and enjoy free to air football matches (EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1)

most times the chancellor position in universities in Nigeria is given to royalties.. e.g obas, emirs e.t.c its more of a ceremonial thing, I guess by so doing salary is sure for them. (note: I didn't say their livelihood depends on it)
the above applies to fg/state owned universities, for private like the poster above said proprietors/owner are the chancellors

Get ur remote control, press the "AUDIO" key and change it from STEREO to LEFT or RIGHT

Just this afternoon i was relaxing at home and this came into my mind. It's somehow funny but please my fellow nairalanders it concerns the university. My question is: Since we have VC (Vice Chancellor) in the UNIVERSITY, who is now the C (Chancellor)? The government or what?
NOTE: Am not in TERTIARY institution yet.

Am not the type that talks about politics, am not interested in that (but i'll still cast my vote).
Am always interested in football latest news but that doesn't make it to FP here.

Yemisolar TV3 shows EPL every saturday, UCL every wednesday and Europa League every thursday. All you have to do is patch your decoder and enjoy TV3... JoySports is absorbed by JoyPrime

wen...i press tv/rad....it says...no channels....the whole channelswiped off

Press "MENU" key on ur remote control, select installation and press 0000... Select blind scan and select 28.2e astra or 28.2 eutelsat then press the right volume key... Now scroll down and select "PRESS OK" to scan. Allow it to finish scanning then press "EXIT" three times.
