Ex Big Brother Naija ShineYaEyes Season 6 housemates today, paid a courtesy visit to Africa's leading smartphone brand TECNO office in Lagos.

The housemates which includes this season winner Whitemoney, Liquorose, Pere, Cross, Angel, Emmanuel, Princess, Tega, Saskay, Boma, Kayvee, Sega, Yerin, Yousef, JMK and others.

The housemates were received by the brand Public Relations Manager Mr Vincent Chukwudi Uzoegbu who presented winners with rewards from the TECNO BBNaija games and a brand new Camon 18 device for the housemates.

Whitemoney and Liquorose were also presented with a cash prize of 400,000 for emerging Phantom Stars.

The Phantom is a flagship series and it's more higher and sophisticated compared to CAMON line. Difference can be seen in the specifications and price difference.

TECNO is one of the makers making great progress in the budget and midrange segment in the past year. Its Camon 17 series offered large screens, ample battery life and respectable cameras and we now have an extensive first look at the next generation Camon 18.

From a design standpoint, Camon 18 features a flat back with squared-off edges complemented by a flat display with a punch hole cutout. The selfie cam opening appears smaller than on the preceding Camon 17 series.

There’s a large power button on the right-hand side. The images we obtained show out the device in light and dark blue colors though we expect to see more colorways once it goes official.

Moving around the back we see a triple camera system with 16-135mm equivalent lenses and f/1.6-3.5 apertures. There's also OIS support for shake-free videos and stills.

The camera island also advertises a hybrid 60x zoom which is expected to offer image stabilization. We don’t have the actual camera sensors info here but we’ll hopefully learn more about them and the rest of the spec sheet of the Camon 18 soon.

The device is set to be launched tomorrow October 6th 2021 at 11:00 AM.

Smartphone brand TECNO had their second BBNaija Season 6 Task yesterday with team Xcellent (Emmanuel, Jackie B and Jay Paul) emerging winner and awarded a cash prize of 500,000 each.

The first part of the challenge the housemates were instructed to take pictures and videos using the brand lastest flagship smartphone TECNO Phantom X according the Props and costumes provided to them.

For the second part of the task the housemates were instructed to edit their already shot videos using the same smartphone with each team having just 20 minutes.

It was at the end of second session that Team Xcellent was announced winners.

The groups are Team Xclusive (Whitemoney, Liquorose , Queen and Yousef) , Team xcellence (Emmanuel, Jackie B and Jay Paul) , Team Xceptional (Queen, Saskay and Nini) and Team Xtraordinary (Cross, Saga and Pere).

Smartphone brand TECNO had their first BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes Task yesterday and it was a challenging but exciting moment for the housemates.

The housemates were group into four team with each team having five members. The groups are Team xclusive (Pere, Whitemoney, Emmanuel, Liquorose and Michael) , Team xcellence (JMK, Nini, Jaypaul, Peace, Angel) , Team Xceptional (Boma, Sammie, Cross, Jackie B, Saga) and Team Xtraordinary (Tega, Queen, Saskay, Yousef and Maria).

The task was dividend into two;

The first game: Unscrambler the Housemates would require their cognitive strengths. Before them was a TECNO Board with 20 hooks. There were four TECNO Phantom cards on each hook, and each card bore a scrambled word or sentence from the Tecno Phantom Brand, Story Material that was provided for them. Each team member had to pick out a card and display its contents to team members. The team members were then expected to unscramble the word and say it out loud.

The second game: X-Rush as the name suggests required Housemates to think and act quickly. There were four X-Tanks before them – one for each team. Each team had to fill up the four arms of the X-Tank using the X-balls provided in a pool of balls. The bottom right of the X would contain blue balls, the bottom right would contain gold balls, the top right with white balls, while the top left arm had to have black balls.

For the concluding part of the task, housemates were asked to create a short film addressinf different social challenges in which they shot and edited using the Phantom X smartphone.
