Order of names is not a problem. Upload your 100l transcript. Its up to you to choose what to put as current cgpa. I put my real-time current cgpa (my state is competitive and I'm not in engineering so I went with my higher gp). Someone else but his 100l gp
You really tried. I need to develop the coolheaded-ness to respond to just any question I come across. Aside from the order of names, which is known to be unproblematic, the other question have received sufficient discussion. Other than the post they make and the reaction it receives, they probably don't read any other posts on the thread.

Are we meant to do any other thing asides uploading our 100level result? I’m confused cause I’m seeing something about current CGPA...
I believe that this depends on individual's judgement. Where we're asked to upload our 100-level transcript, it says "current transcript," therefore I entered my 100lCGPA in place of "current CGPA"
Additionally, you'll see that your application is in the form of a "details input then document" when you preview it. Why would you enter information when your supporting documents contradict it? Make your decision; I've seen someone enter their real current CGPA.

Good morning bro and thanks for always providing answers to our numerous questions.

Since making a mistake and/or NOT adhere strictly to instructions reduces the likelihood of one getting the Award, which results is important to upload at this present stage of the screening? Full 100L CGPA & Transcripts OR that of 200L which has 100L and 200L combined?

The reason for asking this is that 100L results/CGPA is good but the new CGPA for 200L is better!

The instruction in the mail says full 100L results.
You simply want to subvert the system in any way you can. When you upload a 200L result, two things are certain to occur. You are either classified as a D.E. student and placed in the "negligible fractions(according to hannaina)" or you are caught and disqualified for not adhering to instructions (as you rightly stated).

By the way, how high is your CGPA rise that you want to take this much risk on?

CGPA is the major factor for undergraduate award. I used my NECO not even WAEC, and I was the top listed name in my state.

The Guy with 4.93 most definitely made a mistake in the application or didn't follow the guidelines. That's the problem I have with some first-class students. High in academic brilliance, abysmal in all-around quotient.

The O'level is not even used for PG awarding, it happens when there's a tie.

I understand now.... Thanks so much

Major factors are:
1. Class of degree(difference between first-class and 2.1 is just 2 points. 10 for first, 8 for 2.1). So you can see why many 2.1's get awarded because it's not all about CGPA.

2. Number of awards(maximum of 4 will be graded)

3. Membership in professional bodies

4. Your SOP(statement of purpose)

5. Relevance of your course to the oil and gas industry.
I understand now. Thank you

I'm an awardee, and your claim of track record is false. When the list is out, you'd be shortlisted per state. 20 each.

Some States will have short of qualified applicants, and they have to source for them after the award. Like three northern states had 11, 15 and 13 awardees during my time.

For the IJMB and D.E, only a fraction of them will be awarded, and their ND results will be used to get them.
Boss, I'm not challenging any of your claims. Many current awardees, as you also stated, testify their award are based solely on State of origin and CGPA. The prior email, however, didn't follow that pattern because some persons from the same state who had lower CGPAs received email while those with better ones did not.
Unless there is something you guys (current awardees) know that we are unaware of yet, we just want to be certain of why exactly things transpired in that manner.

Hannania:
You have to be in your second year, with a CGPA of 3.5 and above.

Unlike other scholarships, you're competing with the top 20 applicants from your state.

This means you can have 3.7 from a less competitive state, and get awarded, and a guy from Ekiti with 4.7, with 20 applicants having 4.9-5.0 more then his 4.7, will make him not to be awarded.
Unless the prior email is nothing to be concerned about, it had too many contradictions.
The email was sent to a number of IJMB D.E. students, pharmacy and medical students, some who indicated they were receiving multiple scholarships also received, and the issue of two people from the same state, in which one with lower CGPA received and the other did not. These are extremely unusual based on PTDF's track record. And now again, they are stating that 100 level CGPA is the basis for the award.
This is so confusing.

Thanks Hannania for always being there anytime you're called upon.

To my doubt, does this imply that O-level grades don't matter for UG award as the basis of your analysis is purely CGPA and State of origin?
First off, I've been following the PTDF PG thread for a while now, and I've observed O-level grades have a lot more bearing on the final selection than the class of degree itself.
Second, for the previous email, I have two Oyo State students in my class; one had a 4.93 CGPA and didn't receive it, while the other with 3.97 CGPA got. Don't you think O-level is also important?

Modified: just checked the advert again. Final selection will be based on grades as confirmed by the HOD for undergraduates and interviews for postgraduates.
Hi, I'm assuming you already uploaded the transcript before yesterday. Did you remove the old copy and upload another one again, or what?

In the box where it asks for current CGPA, did you enter your current CGPA or that of your 100l?

The biggest problem of Nigeria is Nigerians, even with the tough state of the economy and the incessant killings by this demonic APC government, they are still wining elections..I have zero sympathy for Nigeria or Nigerians.. They are a well matched marriage
Yen yen, keep the sympathy for yourself and your village people.

If things have been flourishing during PDP regime, why would there be need for APC in the first place? People like you are too blind to see that there's no difference between those politicians, it's only party name that differs.
Not to down talk Peter Obi, I can assure you if he eventually wins(which I'm 99.9% sure he won't), things will most likely remain as it is now, if not worse, since he'll just probably be the only person from LP among the sea of APC and PDP constituted authorities, who will not think twice to frustrate his government so they can take back the power.

You guys should think.

I'm a Yoruba Muslim, and despite the slurs and insults directed at my tribe and faith by Igbos on this site, it won't make me blind to the reality.

I'm going to vote for PETER OBI.
He has my vote on Twitter, Nairaland, WhatsApp, Instagram, and everywhere else...... However, I will only vote for Tinubu alias Jagaban on election day.
