Owerri blocks any govt establishment going outside Owerri, because, they say it is the state capital.

Even state traffic officers can't be found outside Owerri even though they cluster at every roundabout in Owerri

The present state governor bought about 100 buses and forced all of them to ply only Owerri streets.

Only State Library is in Owerri. The present state governor demolished the state library in Owerri which was established by East Central State government, and built another in Owerri, money for demolition could have built five other lga state libraries.
