What you know in the sand supply business, you only use it to deceive customers.
I expect you to honourably keep quiet and hide a little bit because you have been burst.

Kindly assist those people who asked you for supply. n3xt: Well it depends on the quality of tiles we are talking about here.
I’m not sure there’s a way paint can be more expensive than tiles even if you consider both short/long term gains. okay |

n3xt: The default setting in Nigeria is “All Bathroom/Kitchen Wall Tiled”
Today there are many antibacterial paints with formulation to produce a cleaner environment.
There are also steam resistant paints and the greaseproof paints that can be washed without any colour fading.
The possibilities out there really are endless! but when you check the cost of such paints vs tiles, which is cheaper? |

rotecch77: Noting difficult there so far they are mixing it with plaster sand. Actually if it’s to be used only (not commonly used this way) then the rate will be more a little just because it’s dry quickly, if 1st apply on the wall btw 30min it will dry up so it will be difficult to Smooth btw that time (30-40min)
But here you are mixing it with plaster sand so nothing difficult there. we are actually using sharp sand only and no mixing with mud as we don't have pure plaster sand. Even as such the estimate is high and I need to renegotiate with them or sack them and bring a new team |

Muyi002: For my building, the fellow handling my stuff said I will need 200 bags and 480k workmanship. For Ilorin fa!!!
I now decided this method below for labour cost.
Plastering Pattern Internal Platering Day 1 = 2 rooms & toilets Bricklayers = 5 Labourers = 2
Day 2 = internal lobbies Bricklayers = 5 Labourers = 2
Day 3 = Master Bedroom & Toilets Bricklayers = 4 Labourer = 2
Day 4 = Landry, Store & Kitchen Bricklayers = 4 Labourers = 2
Day 5 = Guest Room, toilet, ante room & toilet Bricklayers = 4 Labourers = 1
Day 6 = Palour & Dining Bricklayers = 5 Labourers = 2
Total Cost = 85,000 Bricklayers = 27 @ 2500 = 67,500 Labourers = 11 @ 1500 = 17,500
External Plastering Day 1 = Left Side Bricklayers = 6 Labourers = 2
Day 2 = Right Side Bricklayers = 6 Labourers = 2
Day 3 = Front and Back Bricklayers = 4 Labourers = 2
Total Cost = 50,000 Bricklayers = 16 @ 2500 = 40,000 Labourers = 6 @ 1500 = 9,000 wow, nice idea I will try and use this method |

Check the labour rate rotecch77 posted in earlier post.
Or did they say the labour rate for using sharp sand is more expensive than using plaster sand? yes according to them the rate is different because it's very difficult to use |

That still doesn’t justify 200 bags for 3 bedroom bungalow without decking.
Do the maths bro! That’s like average of 20 bags per room.
3 bedroom 4 toilet 1 living room 1 kitchen 1 ante room
What else?

Buy 6 plaster sand (30 tonnes). Buy 30 Bags of Cement Save the rest for labour
Focus on the internal walls for now. Do all the rooms first and toilets after the rooms are completed. Wait oooo me that they ask me to bring 200 bag of cement and 300k for workmanship. For a three-bedroom bungalow with four toilets |

Osagiesamuel02: Good morning house, So a friend got this quote for the woodwork of the roofing of his project. He just recently discovered that his engineer has been steadily ripping him off by quoting excess materials up to this stage. I felt I should bring this here for proper vetting. Is the material and pricing fair enough. The king post if 14ft high. Thank I am not an engineer but I did my roofing this year around March 28 to April 18. I can tell you that it depends on so many factors such as: A square meter of the roof (mine is around 300sqm). The kind of wood you will use ( mine we use Mahogany and Marake wood) The size of the wood to use( mine we start with 2 by 6 then others, while some people do not use 2 by 6) The type of roofing sheet stone coated will take more wood than long span aluminium. Overall please do not occupy your mind with they are cheating you or not but go for quality, standard and value for money. I spent 607, 490 for woodwork and people are talking then I told them they did it to my satisfaction. ( rotech helped me a lot during my roofing) |

Women get carried away and get loved up and think love is true but these men walk all over women "Good men are like finding a needle in a haystack". In a real sense, women don't know what they want from men. You see good men coming to a lady but she ignores them for the bad guys. And whenever I see a lady lamenting on issues like this I just say "that's good for you" |
