Joebie: How about Babatunde making that list? Wasn't that a mystery? Let's not forget Bright Dike and a few others never deserved an invitation. No disrespect to our late coach, that was the era I felt agents where doing big business with Super Eagles handlers.
Modified Keshi invited players who were trying to boost their careers. His philosophy was giving them a chance in SE colors, they would do everything to up their value. Which is why the likes of Aaron Samuel got invited in the first place. These players were motivated to perform because they were relatively unknown. Wetin do Dike and Babatunde? Dike was tight na....u remember that goal ee score against Italy? Babatunde try joor........Who was better than them as at then |

kentebemoney: Good day guys!!! If I were the coach,I would play a 4-2-3-1 formation. ...........................Akpeyi.............................
Aina............troost..............Leon.............uwa
......................Ogu................ndidi................
Musa........................Mikel...................moses
.......,.......................odion........................
Why aina? Playing in Cyprus and English championship no be the same, if he impress me in training, I'll play him.
John ogu? We need a disciplined DM ,good with the ball at his feet, can hit good long range passes and occasional outside box shot. He just going to basic job.
Ndidi? Na him go be *JACKY* . Run around , breaking down attack, closing down the ball playing MF for Cameroon, bombing forward to shoot or getting into position for header's and to help john ogu in the MF too. Re-watch the man utd vs Leicester, the guy get gas.
Mikel and moses? I no think say I suppose explain anything
Musa? Bcus na senior man for the team and on him good day, him sabi pepper defense.
Ighalo? Him na old man and based on recent form.
How una see am? Akpeyi is out........ |

2, Thank God Enrico Ponetti is the goalkeeper coach.
3, if Echiejile is not inform or good enough for the match, make dem put Aina or Ebuehi for that LB. They have played there in their various clubs. Abi, What is the need of calling them to the national team if the coach thinks they are not good enough to play? Abi if Echiejile get injury during the course of the game, na me dem one put for dere?
4, if Troost and Balogun dey fumble for the match, make the coach begin prepare plan B oooo else confusion of who replaces who come brake bone oooo.
He should reserve Ndidi who was a natural CB and Uche Ugbo should incase casala happen though pray for none.

Kog45: I remember u got it right on Awaziem but d guy had a bad day against SA,hope he bounce back and better coz age is on his side and Rohr already rate him than Omeruo meaning in d absence of Balogun,he is a sure starter.
On Alampasu can Rohr take d risk against Cameroon,i always rate Akpeyi ahead of Ezenwa and Alampasu but to be sincere am not comfortable with him likewise Ezenwa but Alampasu to me a risk against Cameroon not that he is not good but d exposure just like it affect Awaziem against SA. wetin do balagoun? |

Petrobros: Firstly, Alampasu is not our first choice goalie. So he is not expected to start.
Secondly, Ndidi. He is a sure starter.
Ighalo not likely to start, Iheanacho is our first choice striker.
I like where you placed Etebo. In the absence of Iwobi, Etobo moves to the Left. I see an Ndidi- Onazi midfield pairing. Ndidi-Onazi means confusion |

blueto: with God, nothing sha be impossible.
I have come to observe that Nigeria have lost many matches that they boasted that they can comfortably beat their opponents. For example, Rohr didn't boast when Nigeria was to take on Algeria, and Nigeria won that game, but the moment Rohr boasted that Nigeria will win match against South Africa “in honor of late Stephen Keshi,” that was when Nigeria lost the match.
The truth is that God helps us when we admit weakness, because that is when He can fully take the glory. Hehehe....Doesnt always follow |

goldfish80: There you are once more passing judgment whilst using league ratings as a yard stick, not talent, individual ability or what the man could bring to the team. When was the last time we had a true Right back impress for the Super Eagles? if we are being honest. Funny enough, these guys you mentioned are playing for mediocre teams in their various leagues. I may not be having this argument if they were playing for Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. It will be much fun if we base our posts on the individual qualities of the players and not the Nigerian stereotype of where they are based. We need Chidi Odiah back.... |

TheGoodJoe: 6ft is not my criteria for selection. Maybe yours. Nwakeme is on my list for speed. Yes our players can play at a high intensity. Apart from Nwakeme, the rest have played together and can bring the much needed intense play.
They are footballers and can adapt to strategies.
