@mummide, the cord must be very thick. Pls keep it dry. By now it should be drying up little by little.
My MIL says she puts powder for more drying effect though I have never tried it.

Tnx Soonest , it was very thick , but thank God there has bn great improvement, it's just a tiny thing left now, likely to fall off in 2-3days time . My head is relaxed now grin

Pls mama's come to my rescue ooo, it's 20days now n my babys cord is still intact. I started using chloxyl gel and I noticed it wasn't dried at all after a week so I stopped using chloxyl gel n I went to hospital to check for infections n d Dr confirmed it wasn't infected but I should continue cleaning with spirit n cotton wool, till now it's still intact. I noticed a flesh like stuff on d belle botton n an upper part of the Tommy close to d belle botton was red ( not oozing out pus, no smell, not running temperature either but just d redness ) I went to hospital again. Pls Sabi mamas what else should I do? Dis is driving me crazy my BP has increased, I'm just so confused, pls make una help me I dey beg oooo.

Lolz you for hear how I shout that day na, them say the bath nah jacuzzi o! heater ,soothing vibrations and can be used till the child is 2.

The mosses basket was a no no for me as well! Told her to buy that 1500 net and foam instead but she insisted so what I do?

Washcloth is for wiping off spit outs and drool(dunno if it has another name.

Disposable panties that she got is quite loose about 6 inthe pack! The disposable breast pad are 60 in its pack she say she no get time to wash wash.

And yeah the nursing gown is for easy access to the breast it has front opening together with a fluffy slippers.

Yes I know d Jacuzzi bath too, i bought mine for 16k then 2014. Baby things plenty market jor, na money dey make person think twice. Also it's very strongggggg u can use it for all your kids and pass it on to others .

Actually, it started as a small thing....temperature and stooling. Then my Dede lost so much weight in little time, then he was admitted in the clinic. On Sunday night, he decided he has had enough. I was sitting beside his bed, he looked at me....smiled and closed his eyes forever!

Lala has been gentle ever since....pls pray for us.

Hmmmm this just gave me a teary eyes.......Pls little lala stay with mummy n b strong for her. God will keep and comfort u all....Amen

These dabinos have always looked so unhygienic! But then I wondered, is it because it's abokis that sell them?

So I closed eye and bought a few last week on top this cervix dilation matter, rinsed thoroughly, and while eating the very second one I found hundreds of tiny dead ants (you know those kind of ants nah), all sprung in tiny webs INSIDE the dabino!

I weak!

So its bye bye to dabinos.

I'm so so happy for u, God did a marvellous work. When I saw "ruptured placenta" afraid catch me, i was like shey she said it was no longer low lying ....... in all we give thanks to God. Me that had a low lying placenta , I'll have to b going for scan every week o ooo. It is well

This is so not true! If what she has is anterior placenta and not placenta previa, then there is absolutely NOTHING that stops her from having a natural birth. No doctor will advise for a Cesarean section just because she has anterior placenta. Anterior placenta only means the placenta attached to the front of the uterus rather than the back closer to the spine.

I have it, and my doctor has not even mentioned any CS to me. And I am in my third trimester

Lolll, i was actually referring to a low-lying/ placenta previa. Mine was low-lying n doctor never mentioned any CS to me axpecially at d early stage cos they believe it will normalize. But Come to think of it, even though I made a mistake typing anterior it still doesn't mean it's 100% not true, cos in some rare cases of anterior placenta there are possibilities that it could grow downwards which means it grows towards d cervix which could possibly block baby's way on delivery which is therefore referred to as previa. Sorry for the long tori, need to clear myself

hello ma....need to ask ur experience with the anterior placenta I got same and don't know what to expect

I'll advice u take ur mind off it, Google will scare u d more. With anterior placenta it's not advisable to go into Labour rather doc will advice for a cs, 98% of anterior placenta normalizes b4 due date. In some cases expecially d previa type , doc will tell u to abstain from sex. Nothing to worry about mam. I hope this helps

I was so bothered , thinking of So many things even death lolllll no b my fault jare na Google put plenty fear for my mind, again whenever it's bn discussed here one mama will always say anterior placenta is not d issue except d low-lying meanwhile mine was low-lying hmmmm, it wasn't easy but all thanks to God for calming my mind on time n to mama's here for sharing their testimony n words of encouragement.

We are happy for the news. I pray for one like this too...last scan at 27weeks, baby was breeeched too...hoping he turns before next scan at 35weeks or so. We share same EDD ooo 11th August. ..all my scans so far are the same date.

My able captain, my kpekusing mate lolll, he 'll surely turn even b4 35weeks by God's grace. All my scans are 11th too, it was baby centre that gave me 16th n the hospital 17th.

A gift of N100 is still a gift after all my boss in d office gave my baby N200 Lolll. Treasure95 I full ground remain o, ur Lo's gift is still much available n with just ur contact u 'll definitely get it.

Let me share good news.......... went for scan @30 weeks, placenta no longer low lying but posterior n baby no longer breeched but well positioned for delivery all to the Glory of God.

Yeah but it will only solve that problem at the beginning... They grow of these bassinets quickly. Why don't you just buy a pack'n'play, some of them even come with a bassinet. That's what most people do ...it will serve you for long.

I have a cot already mam, most times we r st the sitting room, that's why I need something I can lay my baby on. For my first child I was lying her on a sofa which I really didn't like. D swing n other stuffs at home are just to low for baby to sleep in.
