ela is a fungal infection n it it mostly attacks babies a lot. d ori oyo is good but if u can get original coconut oil n use with it too.
try n get the leaf for ela n boil n bath him with it, its d best remedy for ela. where do u stay? someone planted d leaf in my area. i could help u with it if u live around.
u could also get tribact n use with d ori oyo for faster results but its not compulsory.

they are all perfumed to some extent. angel and dry luv have something like powder in them. I don't know how to describe it. I am not trying to discourage you . my daughter also reacts badly to pampers. so you can give it a trial. my conclusion then was that they were all made from the same company but given different names. I might be wrong though.

I agree with mytestimony,cos when my DS was running temperature pple kept saying na teeth o,thank God I took him to the hosp and was treated for malaria after running some test cos uptil now no teeth,so sometimes no be teeth o

@Ahnie, your bae is most likely teething.
Dip a towel in tap water( not warm or cold), wring and apply to head and body. You have to do this severally till temperature drops. You may also use normal dose of pcm for her age and watch how long it takes for the temp to rise again. If the temp persists after 3 days consult your Dr.

I dont use teething drugs o, so I dont have any to recommend to you. Pcm or Ibuprofen( when the fever is extraordinarily high) and wet clothe stuff always does the trick.


@ Smokeydrinky, if your baby is on EBF, you have no cause for alarm. Is he growing bigger? ( it means the baby is utilising all available nutrients and nothing goes to waste hence no poop), is the stomach constantly hard to touch?
You can try eating fruits or drink plenty ewedu soup. You will poop and so will your LO.
Dont give water if you are truly on EXCLUSIVE.


My own question, my baby's ear refused to heal after the piercing. It was bringing out pus despite the fact that we cleaned with spirit every 2hrs.We removed the earring and the tiny hole closed up. We had to re-pierce at the same spot and put thread. Now it looks dry but I am still afraid of putting earrings o.
Is there anything I can do now to prevent the ish again?

Are both breasts affected? If no then you don't have to stop breastfeeding. Breastfeed him from the unaffected boob and express the infected one( throw it away). I've had to deal with mastitis 3x now and was even told to continue breastfeeding. It cleared within a week & I never stopped breastfeeding.
I suggest you see another Dr & read up mastitis.

I learnt frm ask the paediatricians that Deworming is from one year o. And I dont think Deworming is part of the immunization process

keep giving him the breast to suck,the more u give him the more u'll produce milk,u can still be giving nan too so that baby won't starve

My baby is 10days old. It feels good to be a mum. He's my first. My breast didn't flow by first 2days and he was hungry so I gave him glucose water but I used feeding bottle instead of spoon and cup! My big mistake . The hunger continued nd I couldn't bear it so I gave him NAN (bottle again). Now that breast is flowing, he sucks but still feels hungry for NAN. Only NAN satisfies him! I feel bad. What do I do to make him stop NAN and suck breast only and be satisfied?

depends on what u want,my baby took cow and gate and breastmilk,if u want to exclusive breastfeed,u can express BM into the bottle and feed him hope this helps

She feed very well cos she can eat for africa.my milk production is superb cos I cnt stay for 2hr without leaking milk wc makes me to express almost every time. The only thing am battling wit is constipation wc makes me eat ripe pawpaw daily to enable me go 2 d loo.aside d poo she is fine n no fever.

I guess the pawpaw is the cause then,why not stop it and observe ur baby,then instead of pawpaw take pIenty water

i dont think there should be a feeding pattern, feed when the baby is hungry, if the baby is stooling alot, naturally she will be hungry and dehydrated, or have u even thot of the fact that she might not be satisfied with just breastmilk? how old is ur baby?
