Thanks to the following person(s)...accountant zaynie,ma'am ozycy,ma'am sodiamum,ma'am mydreams25,alphahandmaiden and too numerous to mention....i took my lil madam to the hospital yesterday,what i presumed to be teething,actually turned to be serious feverish symptoms.zino was examined,and given some medications...now miss zino z back to her usual bubbly self.we went for church camp things few days prior to easter celebration..so she was exposed...and got bitten by mosquitoes....hence the sicknez.

My lo is havin wot is called nlacha in ibo(dnt no d english name) bt d smptoms are
1. It coses d afected part of d skin 2 b fairer than d others. Usualy on d head, neck, anus and d private part.
2. On d hair, it coses d hair 2 peel off, there by leadin 2 bald hair if nt treated.
Pls mothers dat xperienced this should help me out wit a solution. I ve used shea butter but its not helpin out. Pls oo

Pls mamas com 2 my aid, my DS do breath as if he has catarr, or wil.I say like he has mucous in his respiratory system, in Wich u ll hear d sound of his breath like som1 snorin. Dnt realy no how to explain it, bt I wish u mamas undstands wot I mean.

Sorry about the stress, dont worry so far you have gone to the hospital and yopt trust their medical team the baby will be fine. I had my baby too as preterm(34weeks) and he had jaundice,they treated him with the light bulb theraphy too and after some days when we went back for checkup, it was higher but they told us not to worry that i should make sure i breastfeed well. I think the bilirubim level shouldnt be more than 150 or so.The home theraphy i did was to take the baby out to the early morning sun. Let the sun touch the baby's skin. Other mamas will add theirs.
