Hello Mamas, an update from my first ultrasound. 1 viable embryo seen but I have 2 concerns.
First, I'm suppose to be 6weeks 2days but it measured 6 weeks 0days. Is this normal?
Secondly, the heartrate wasnt measured because according to my dr is still very low/small. Isn't it suppose to be possible to measure the heartrate at 6 weeks?
I'm going crazy here, experience mamas and those ahead of me, pls show ur face and respond to my worries.
My Dd doesn't seem concerend, infact she said everything is fine at this stage but from what I'm reading from Dr google the heartrate is concerning.

13 days today, n still bleeding. Can d supplements am taking be responsible (DHEA, ubiquinol, ovum boost n pregnancare). Am fedup n tired. My normal period is 5days. Am thinking of stopping all d drugs. Was planning to take them for 3months in preparation for my next ivf. I never used to have irregular period. No fibroids. The cyst seen is even said to be a follicular cyst.

Thanks. Will use d ACV. D full flow started yesterday I.e d 5th day of painful contractions. I took buserelin for my ivf cycle in Nov, had my period which came normal is DEC, so that's why I didn't understand now having issues after d DEC cycle was fine. I normally use to have very heavy flow.

If you are on buserelin, that will definitely cause scanty period. For the cyst you could take apple cider with the mother and unsulfured black strap molasses. If don't have black strap molasses just take apple cider with plenty of water. It works. Take bitter leaf with scent leaf juice on day 1 of next circle to tackle scanty periods an stop before ovulation. It also detoxifies your body.

Please check to be sure you are not pregnant. Take more pt. Repeat scan in a different place.

My period after bin one week late came very scanty, not very red, little tissue like pieces, with too much contraction pain. The contractions are on n off. I went to d hospital and a scan revealed cyst. I was given buscopan injection, tablet n antibiotics. Am still feeling d pain, n d flow is not coming well. Am just confused. Could it be as a result of d stimulation injections? I had a period 6th December without any issues.

Not yet o. I want to take some supplements for 3 months before going for it, though hubby wants us to just go ahead. Am just not in a hurry. Will just make d payments n take my time.

Well, I had my scan today...

YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!!

1 viable embryo was seen with due date on 29/08/19.

I am so grateful to God for this result. It could have gone the other way as I met 2 people that their embryos has stopped growing.

I pray that this ends up being our so much awaited miracle baby.

Next scan in 2 weeks.

I am overwhelmed by the good wishes from all of you. I am glad that this forum didn't vanish like it wanted to. The communication and encouragement from here go a long way.

I don't even know where to start. I am still in shock. Could this be me?

6 years and counting.
This is my first ever pregnancy and my first IVF cycle.

It could only be God. To Him be all the glory.

I pray that everyone still believing God for the same testimony will be visited as well. Trust God.

Of the 8 people that did test today, 6 of us had a positive result.

Praying for a safe, healthy and smooth pregnancy and a supernatural childbirth.

I wish u bfp o. I can agine how u are feeling... The day I decided going for another cycle n stopping this one, I just felt load off my head. I felt a lot of relief... I even became a happier person. I was nervous throughout d stimulation process, especially when I didn't respond well during d 1st scan.
I will still be using Nisa, though will do all stimulation in their Kaduna clinic n move to abuja for EC. I don't av any other choice. I actually love their services...just that d money is much.

They started doing it in their clinic just this year too, but were taking the samples abroad before.even Diff does it(abroad too), but when contacted when I was trying a choose clinic, they told me 4m for d screening.,

I didn't use FMC Jabi. And haven't seen much review on it as well.

If you are in abuja and you are looking for a hospital that has a huge success in Ivf, jojeabebe fertility is the place to go. They are running a promo that will end on d 7th of this December. I paid 1.2million for 3ivf, the first failed meaning I have 2more to go. I think 700k for a trial and 900 for 2 trials and 1.2m for 3. Its relatively cheap compared to where I did last yr for 1.2m for just 1 Ivf. Baby dust to us all. God will remember all of us.

Dear if you want quality eggs and quantity this is what you must take for 3months:

DHEA 25mg x 3 daily = 75mg daily
Ubiquinol 100mg (2wice or 3rice daily)
Pregnacare (a cap daily)
Omega 3 plus vitamin D (2 to 3X Daily)
Vitamin C
Eat healthy and add atleast a egg daily to your diet (stock up on protein, vegies and fruits)
Exercise, not vigorous. Just walking will help blood flow to your reproductive organs/ovaries ( at least take 30 mins walk daily)

Most importantly pray pray and pray.

Pls mamas, help me with things I should do to get more n better eggs in my next stimulation. All my results n that of dh came out fine, except my tsh, which was low, but with T3 n T4 normal. I did d test again n d TSH came back normal. In preparation for d 1st cycle, my doc said I should take only folic acid, n that's d only thing I took. I had only 5 eggs retrieved, and 3 of d 5 treated, n the 3 fertilized. Any suggestion on drugs /supplement to take will be highly appreciated.

Sorry about your failed cycles. I had hysteroscopy in sept. Just few minutes procedure done under anaesthesia. I went alone, finished n travelled back to Kd from abuja same day, though i had light bleeding for up to 10days.

Hello mamas, pls who has undergone laparoscopy and hysteroscopy before. My Dr wants me to undergo the procedures after 2 failed ivf. Hubby sperm count is okay, everything looked Okay throughout the 2 ivf procedure but both still came out negative.

I took only trigger in d bum, all were stomach. My hospital discuss every bit of ur scan with a chart with u for every scan.

My doctor is pleased with how I am responding.
So, I will trigger tomorrow evening for collection on Monday.

They said they will tell me number of follicles later but from the screen I was able to count up to 12. I guess it could be more.
Praying that they are of good quality.

I will trigger with HCG. Please is it taken on the stomach or buttocks.
My buttocks is finished ooo.

EC since Monday n still fill soreness. Though not too much pain...Wish u d very best.

Had my egg collection on Monday. 5 eggs retrieved, n 3 were of good quality n just d 3 were treated. U are lucky with the no side effects. I got mine from d 1st day of stimm, then worse on 2nd n 3rd day, but much better now.

Today is day 2 of stims. Today's injection was less painful than that of yesterday. I guess the injection pain partly depends on who is giving the injection. A different nurse from yesterday gave me today's injection.

Not much of any symptoms so far. Thank God.

We have actually paid for d screening, but paying another 1m + for another cycle is beyond us. We have done our best to avoid having SS, but it seems our best just isn't enough.

Oh dear, I understand not being able to afford a repeat stimulation to get more eggs. Times are really hard. But if you are at a risk of getting SS, you would really need to screen the embryos before transfer to avoid it. And you would stand a better chance with more eggs.
Just think about it carefully.

I got additional one. The doc is suggesting I do a 2nd round of stimulation to get more eggs coz the cost of screening 30 embroyos is same as 1 embryo. I cannot afford can afford that option, so might just screen whatever we have, or risk having SS and transfer without d screening. Will decide by tomorrow. My egg retrieval is still in 4days time, so much can still happen before then.

I was given two injections as well.
Buserelin(0.5ml) and Menogon (300iu).
Scan in the next 5 days, 26th.
Am on a slightly long protocol. I started down regulation with buserelin 9 days ago and started stims today being day 3 of my cycle, apparently I am continuing with it till further notice.
How did your scan go?

I don't have 5th day scan report yet, I will be starting stims today. Have you stimmed before? How did you respond previously?
Well, from my research, I have come to realise that some people are slow responders. What that means is that the person will just have to stim for longer period, that's all. U will stim till u get to the point they want. While for some people, they respond better towards the end of the stimulation. You have nothing to worry about. With the increment in dosage and the ample time left ur follicles will definitely grow bigger and catch up.

Are u on only Gonal F and Buserelin?

Good day. I started my stimulation on Wednesday (short protocol). I was told yesterday that only 5 follicles measured between 12 n 14mm (4days of Gonal F 300iu n 5th day of buserelin 0.5mg) d Gonal F was increased to 375. Going for d 8th day scan tomorrow, so hoping n praying I respond better. We are doing PGD screening for genotype, so we need as much embryos as we can get. Pls anyone share their 5th day scan result/experience?
