BA BA BA.........my janded princess was born yesterday 21/5/2018 weighing 3.2kg via ELCS. Mum and baby are fine.Dad keeps laughing at her voracious appetite.BS coming soon.

Sabi mamas abeg is this my water hunger normal? I can finish one big Eva table water at a go and I'm not exaggerating. The next 20 minutes or even less than I would be looking for water again. If I want to eat and I don't have up to 2/3 sachet water then that food won't go down. This morning now the noodles that I cooked, I didn't eat half but I've successfully drank 3 sachet water and 1 Pepsi. Is this my water hunger good like this? Help me please don't Waka pass abeg. Same happens to me,I even keep bottles of water by my bedside at night.But the Doc says it's all good to keep hydrated, as far as there is no gestational diabetes. 1 Like |

Same here  , But I am not so perturbed. The most important thing is having a safe and healthy delivery with Mother ,Father and Child doing well.Shorter Women are more likely to have small pelvis and esp if the baby is big,CS is advised.

Please Mamas in the house, my doctor is saying because of my height (about 5'1or 2) thati would most likely have to go for CS. For now he says we should do a scan at 36weeks to determine baby's weight but I should put mind for CS. Pls I need mamas opinions o, does height determine Cs or not.

SEX Mumofnations .............04/06/18 .................XX Thanks Cappo. I have packed my hospital box and bought most things.Just diaper bag and nursing night dress to go. Had issues with my PCV.Twas 28% from week 24,rechecked week 30 and it had dropped to 26%.The Doctor started talking transfusion.All these while,I was on double dose ferobin plus but it didn't help my matter.I was switched to the tiny ferrous tablets ii thrice daily.I also made a smoothie with garden egg leaves and stored in the fridge for daily sipping.Just checked at week 33 and it has risen to 30%. Was so HAPPY!!!.Meanwhile,my Doctor wants me to do an ultrasound in two weeks time to know if we will opt for CS or vaginal delivery due to my medical history and stature......cheers  4 Likes |

When my sis gave birth, she was told that babies are born with a protective layer on their skin that nourished them in the womb (vernix or so, not sure), so she shouldn't be quick to wash it off.
Besides, I personally think we 'over bath' our babies. Baby wen no do any work, we de baff am 2 -3 times with sponge like farmer?  Haba.
Only difference is our weather, if not ehn? As in eh, the way African Mothers bathe babies,it is a fearful something!  |
