Hello guys, I applied for a B1/B2 Visa earlier this year and got a date for April 2025. I was hoping to reschedule the appointment and bring it nearer since the training i was going for was in July 2024. I could not get a closer date so I had to miss the training. Now I need to travel to the US again for a different conference. Can I use that old appointment for this conference, the timing works for me. I am thinking to say that, even though the other training I have passed, I have a conference that I now need to attend. Has anyone had to do this before? I have letter of invitation and all. What would you advice? |
kennyjoy:Yes, she is 28 weeks gone already. Just want to give a try none the less |

Hi Everyone, I am applying for a visitor visit visa for my wife to birth in Canada. Her sister, who is a citizen, is inviting us. I am concerned that if we get the visa and show up pregnant, we might be turned down at POE or affect chances in future applications. I am now considering adding the statement below to the invitation letter to be signed by my sister-in-law. "Time of visit/Duration: From 17th May to 31st May 2023 / Two weeks. Please note that if it is permissible, I would love for my sister to stay for eight additional weeks to have her baby here in Canada. It will give me great pleasure to participate in welcoming their newborn, as I have not seen any of her children before. Her family can foot the bill for birthing here in Canada, and they can prove that" is this a suicide mission? Has anyone tried this before? |
Hi, Good people of this forum, Please help advise me. We want to apply for a Canadian visa for the family - me, my wife and my daughter. My wife's sister is a Canadian Citizen and has agreed to invite us. I have a job, and funding for the trip, I have been to the UK twice. My wife is, unemployed and has been to the UK once, but it is her sister that will be inviting us. the question is: Who gives us a better chance as a lead applicant? me or my wife? |
Hello house, Kindly advise me on this, please. I applied for a visit visa(tourism) to the UK in January and was refused. The application was for me, my wife and our two kids. I was the main applicant and the sponsor for the trip for all four of us. Our planned trip to the UK is to build up our travel history so we can apply for a Canadian visa immediately after returning from the UK. My wife and I were denied US and Canadian visas in 2019, stating a lack of travel history - we have not travelled since then. Though I have been to the UK before 2019, my wife hasn't left the country before. The reason for refusal from the UK visa process this time was: - That I did not prove that the salary inflow to my bank statement was from my company since the salary statement had different "descriptions" – the salary statements I submitted for six months were six different documents (I did not combine them into one). I had saved them differently so I could use the title to explain the differences in pay for some months with a higher payment than my net pay. – I plan to combine them into one document next time - That there are some credits to my account that the origin was not demonstrated. However, I suspect that the fact that the whole family is travelling is the main reason the UK visa was refused. I am thinking home ties is the ish My account balance is clearly sufficient to fund the trip. Because I need to get the UK visa urgently to meet up with our other plans, I plan to reapply immediately. To be sure we are not denied again, I am considering to: - Of course, include a letter that clarifies the issues they raised on my finances; and - Apply for my wife and myself alone, excluding our kids – so our children remaining in Nigeria will serve as home ties. But I fear dropping the kids in the re-application may signal desperation, which will not play in our favour. Do you think there will be any benefit in applying only for my wife and me? |
