If the system was that dysfunctional how did he win those titles? You do realize MVPs usually (if ever) don't come from teams not in the top 2 in their respective conferences.

So he was winning NBA regular season MVP titles by winning a ton of games but when it came to the playoffs the same winning team became dysfunctional?
You and I know LeBron played his heart out during his first spell with the cavs but he couldnt get a ring because his team were short of talents.

Michael Jordan didn't win a ring until Scott Pippen came along and after his(Jordan) first retirement, Scott led the Bulls team to the playoffs with a great chance of winning. Jordan also had one of the best ball-rebounders (Rodman) of all time on his team. Which means Jordan benefited from a functional team as well. The Cavs couldn't make the playoffs after LeBron left which shows how important he was to the team during his first spell with them.

Playoffs is a different ball game entirely because you get to play the best teams and you need more than an individual's brilliance to win the title.

Miami offered him a better functioning system in comparison to Cleveland.
Yes sir! I agree with you. He won two titles thanks to a functioning system but we shouldnt forget that he won his first two MVPs in a dysfunctional system as well.

So did Bron in Miami, especially during an Era when the conference had noting to offer the league.
LeBron was a monster before going to Miami. He had two regular season MVPs before joining them, remember!

A competition where we get to see good players, with the heart of a lion and balls of iron, get their own MVPs.

Curry benefited from a functioning GSW system.

And what's it with James playing down the rivalry with Curry? Abeg there is rivalry jor, hot one sef. Maybe not at the level of 'Bird-Magic as he said, but there surely is a rivalry.
I think the rivalry is between GSW and Cavs and not Curry and LeBron. If you take away Curry from the GSW team, I believe they would still be a force to be reckoned with in the west. if you take away LeBron from the Cavs team, I swear the team fit no make playoff sef. In fact, I can't remember the last game the Cavs won without LeBron.

Curry is a great shooter but I dont think he's earned his place to be called LeBron's rival.

You were the best team in the regular season last year and you were almost sent out in the conference finals by OKC. This year, I see the spurs/rockets dragging you to a 7-game series.

Age: 22 | @Giannis_An34

Drafted No. 15 in 2013
Stats & Info:Antetokounmpo leads the Bucks in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Since blocks and steals became official stats, the only four players who have led their teams in all five categories are LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Scottie Pippen and Dave Cowens. Antetokounmpo would be the youngest in that group to do it.
I still don't understand why many people don't talk much about Scott Pippen when hailing Michael Jordan as the G.O.A.T. They often make it sound as if Jordan won 6 'ships with the help of nobody.

Guys do you that Andrew Wiggins is the 4th player under 22 to record consecutive 40 point games the rest being kd, iversen and lebron.i wonder why Cleveland let this go
Wiggins is talented but he needs to grow and Minnesota Timberwolves are providing the platform for that. I support the trade though because LeBron came back to win and he needed an experienced team. I also think Cavs would have kept him if LeBron were 25.

T Lue knows better.
James isn't the 23yr old he used to be.
Kobe said similar things in his final year, we know how his career ended.
That's true! Body no be wood, but LeBron is doing well @32 and he's not showing any sign of aging. The good thing is the way he's been distributing the ball lately and getting other guys involved.
Kobe had a lot of injuries towards the end of his career probably because of his 'i can do it all alone' mentality and that really affected him.

How would the Cavs cope with Love's long term absence?
More minutes to LeBron and keep top spot in the ECF or sacrifice top spot to Celtics and keep the rooster healthy?
Cos let's be frank, now that Love is out, I can realistically see the Cavs dropping out of top spot, except they wanna bleed James' minutes.

Do you realize he has a history with BRON BRON especially while he was at Indiana? That is my angle..
I believe LeBron would remember him more for his defense than his on-court drama.
It's like saying the Cavs won't be interested in Draymond because of his history against LeBron.

I also think he wouldn't have been invited at all if LeBron had said negative things about him.

Lance is not just a good playmaker but also a good defender. If he can take care of his character and stay healthy, he'll definitely be a good addition to the team.

Like, get creative the 3-1 choke is more than 15 Cavs losses back. At this rate y'all would soon say Donald Trump is the reason you lost 8 games in January.

And as for big 4..give us a break. 3 of those players came through a draft we didn't cherrypick and assemble them like Bron did..and we don't whine when Charles bad mouths us. We shut him on the court unlike some floppers I know.
There's this African proverb that says 'A man who forgot where the rain started beating him can't remember where he dried his body'

That shows the importance of history. I know you are tired of people talking about history but we'll always remember because the 3-1 come-back is a big part of the Cavs history

it wont motivate anything. rondo is the wrong messenger carrying a right message. Rondo needs a mirror check before he starts pontificating on anything. I am not really a butler fan, but he and dwade have a lot more rep with me anyday. They could have handled this better, but who knows what else they tried. Rondo is a cancer everywhere he goes. Just tell the dude to go home.

You are right on the money!!! There is definitely a divided locker room. Wade and Butler on one end, Rondo and the younger cats on the other end. If you watched last nights loss to Miami, Rondo's group played better and actually put more points on the board in comparison to Grant, Butler who finished the night with 3 points and Wade.

Butler is not helping his development especially when he is convinced he has arrived the pinnacle of success. Many aspects of his game has regressed.
Butler and Dwade public show of shame will definitely motivate the young guys to do more but I don't see the team playing together for a long time. The incident shows that the management can not trust Jimmy with the leadership role and that some players among them don't trust the coach.

They need to offload those three goons they call leaders.

Sorry to hear that if you're a fan of the bulls cheesy

Where have you read about T. Lue building the Cavs roster or being asked before a move is made? Shouldn't T. Lue be crying wolf like Bron Bron is currently doing? What input did Lue have with paying JR, Shump, TT, Jones and the trading of Delly?

Chuck was very unlucky when it came to winning a ring. Charles was one of the best players in his era, he was very dominant especially under the rim.
I've never read about it anywhere and I've never been in any of the board meetings as well. I'm just a fan expressing his opinions behind his computer like everyone else.

I respect Barkley and he agree with you that he was one of the best players in his era and I bet you would agree with me as well that LeBron James is the best player of his era.

The Cavs and Warriors (To a little extent considering the bulk of their stars were drafted by the Warriors) may as well trade for every all star in the NBA so the other teams can just move to the D-League. I am really tired of this mess, the league lacks genuine competitors and leaders.

When Phil Jackson made the comment about Lebron and his "Posses", the world clamped down on him but now i think we can all see what Phil meant. Bron Bron has this ridiculous sense of entitlement, and it is reminiscent of the African American community even amongst the accomplished ones.

The Cavs are way over cap the space with luxury tax tangling on their neck, and rightly so because of LeWhine. Dan Gilbert has built this roaster around Bron-Bron's need and T. Lue has had no say to his roster, no one is even asking T. Lue what the needs.

Charles Barkley put it perfectly when he said Lebron does not want to compete!!! and that is the truth. He wants to stroll to another championship without effort or shouldering the burden, however, he would bully his team mates to the finals MVP even when he was not the best player during the series.
I know you're entitled to your opinion but you made some assumptions i don't agree with. LeBron is the face of the Cavs franchise right now and whether we like it or not, he probably would have some kind of influence on management decisions, but to say the Coach has no say on the team is an assumption taken too far.

I respect Charles Barkley but remember that he never won back-to-back championships.

LeBron shouldn't have gone on air to talk about who/what the team needs but the deed has been done. Now, we've got to focus on the message and not the messenger. The Cavs team can get to the finals with this team but the question is, Can they beat SAS/GSW with what they have now?

P.S LeBron has been the best player on his team whether or not they won a championship and He has won back-2-back championships before unlike Barkley. So according to the numbers(he's got 3 finals-MVP now, remember!), he is a Competitor!

They're are giving up to many points inside.. TT cannot handle even the average centers, he dropped 2pts last game with a weak D, he dropped 6pts last night with a weak D too. Our weak defense is making us want a backup PG so bad
I'm not saying we need a PG for defense. We need a PG in order to take some load off LeBron cos he's expending so much energy right now and that could hurt us in the Playoffs/Finals.
The team can play defense with or without a PG.

As for TT, I think we need to question khloe for his recent inactiveness on the court. smiley

What position does Kay Felder play?

Well, their cap space did not let them keep Delly as someone rightly said. I can't blame management. This was the roster that began the season save Korver. It is obviously a bad patch for the Cavs but I think it is more tactical and mental. They defend piss-poorly.
Kay Felder has a promising future ahead of him. In fact, I see him playing like Isaiah Thomas in the future. The question is
Can he play as a backup PG in the finals against a team like GSW / SAS?
Can he stand in for Kyrie in case of injury as Mo Williams did?

The GM himself said the team needs a play-maker, we don't need to question how he's going to do it. Remember that he knows a lot more about the organization's position and finances than we do.

Our defense is messy right now but I bet the Coaching staff know about that as well. Data show we've been losing because of our carelessness with the ball. Last night, We turned the ball over 18times which led to 19points for SAC. So, We've got bigger problems than just our defense
