But I still believe his growth wouldn't have been rapid in Cleveland as it is in Minnesota.
In Cleveland,you have to make your shots with the passes you get but in Minnesota,Wiggins can choose to take as many shots as possible.
I dont agree that kyrie-Wiggins would have been a good combo because kyrie is a selfish ball player and always prefer to show off his ball-handling skills that passing the bball.
LeBron + Wiggins + kyrie + A good ball passer as SG would have been a very good combo.

I think Wiggins has been performing well because there has been little pressure on him in Minnesota.He wouldn't have had that opportunity in Cleveland where you have a ball-hog like kyrie and a dominant player like LeBron.

The end justifies the means. The National Conference was a means to an end, not an end in itself. What is worth doing at all is worth doing well. GEJ had all the time in the world to start the implementation of the National Conference recommendations but he didn't do jack. The reason being that there was an ulterior motive behind convening the conference in the first place. It was to serve a selfish purpose of getting him reelected by dolling out cash to some prominent individuals in the country. And that was what actually happened.

Now, why did all these hostilities start cropping up again now that Buhari is in the saddle? I am sure the story would have been different if GEJ had won.

Mind you, I am all for restructuring of this country to take away power from the center and difuse it to the federating units. But we must not shy away from telling the truth as it is.

Destroying national assets is not patriotic. It is not the way to solving a regional problem. There are tensions in all the regions of the country. No one is happy, but there's always a better and more sensible way to address these kinds of problems. Holding the govt to ransom because strategic national assets are cited in your region is exposing such a region to underdevelopment because even if the NDA achieves their demands, they would have sent a signal to investors that that region is hostile, dangerous and unstable. No sane investors will move into such a volatile environment.

By the way, all this is probably a blessing in disguise. Let the Nigerian govt stops paying lip service to diversification. Let it get serious and find the alternatives to oil revenue by looking inwards. Nothing lasts forever.

I'm not an igbo guy but,I read Chinua Achebe's 'There was a country'.There,i got to know what igbos went through during the 30months war and i believe any sensible human being wouldn't want that to occur again.
Apart from that,it kind of difficult now because they currently lack great leaders like Azikwe,Ojukwu,Achebe n so on.The Nmnandis we're hearing of now are just faceless cowards.
Lastly,we still want and love the igbos and i pray and hope they can drop this long term insecured nature and remain part of the great Nigeria that people like N.Azikwe fought for.
