lilchris04: Okay bro. Let me use OAU's Pre-degree(PD) as a case study here. Although I am still yet to find out some facts too. What I heard is that the PD is a sure way of getting admitted inasmuch as one is prepared to study hard. The reason why one would have to write jamb is because it's only jamb that can give admission into any university of ones's choice, so it's compulsory that one writes jamb and must also put the university, where you want to do the PD program, as your first choice when registering for jamb or else it's just a wasted effort. You'll first have to write an entrance exam and beat the cut off mark, then you'll be admitted into the PD program. Then you register for jamb immediately after the entrance exam or if possible, before the entrance exam. For us, we're going to write next year's jamb in the middle of the PD. Like now, in OAU, I heard that if one can just score above 200/400 in jamb and above 60/100 as one's PD aggregate score, admission into OAU is sure. If one gets maybe like 65/100 in PD and gets 254 in jamb, and the PD cut off mark for that particular course, let's say medicine, is 80, then such person will not be given admission for medicine but will surely be given admission for another course like biochemistry because such person got above 60 as his/her aggregate score in PD. lool..I'm tired of typing... nt bad so how much is 4 d registration and wen does d p.d stuff normally held |

lilchris04: according to OAU's pre degree, its a program that runs for about 9 months...when one is done with it..and one passes the exams and beats the cut of mark of one's choice...one would e admitted into that same university , 100 level. and yes, one needs jamb for sure. what are d chances of one getting admittd thru diz method.abt d jamb, are we to write d jamb b4 u buy d form or afta u've scored abv.d cutoff mark.pls try explain d programme to me 4 a clear undastanding tanks. |
