As a first timer in Nigeria, stay away from benz until you have mastered your with Nigerian mechanics.

They intentionally extort ones it is benz or anyother high maintenance car. My guy was frustrated till he sold his SUV 4matic and bought 010 Toyota highlander.

As a first timer, buy car that is durable, affordable with low or moderate maintenance. Not the one mechanic will tell you, wait let me call Lagos or cotonou for the spare parts.

This is quite like how my best friend back at uni days found his wife. We were just sitting in his car at the car park of our admin block when some girls drove and parked beside us. As one of them was coming out the car she didn't know something fell down and my friend noticed the black nylon bag that dropped. Unfortunately and sadly he passed away few years back leaving that beautiful down to earth lady with the two kids. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I still miss him so much and do all I can to always support the wife and kids although the lady got a good paying job. So painful
