I'm not taking anything from the quality of PSG, but the EPL is a tough league that they might not be able to withstand its rigour over 38 matches. Every team is ready to teach you a lesson if you slacken!

Yes, you can beat EPL teams in cup competitions because you meet them weeks to months apart. You can't compare that to playing them once or twice every week. They will tire out. Almost every team in the EPL is a tough nut to crack.

There's a reason why players like Lacazette after losing all his steam at Arsenal still went to the Ligue 1 to become the second top scorer after Mbappe. He scored only 4 goals in his last season at Arsenal, got to Marseille the next season (2022/2023), and scored 27 goals! That's just one of many instances.

Also, there's a reason why the mid-table and bottom-table clubs in England usually shine in the Europa League and conference league where they get to meet mid-table clubs from other leagues.

Many of all these fans don't know that many of this PSG team players playing man city today might have been resting for 2 weeks prior to this game ...PSG has both league football team and Champions league football team ...Mos of their stars rest from playing league football and focus only on the champions league ..that's why they have been very successful lately ...they are able to do this successfulky because they have a good coach and a weak league ..so they can afford to drop their entire first strong 11 ,.. for certain matches and still win their games...They also get helped by their federation alot because they are s state owned club ...their federation can decide to shift their games to the detriment of their opponents when they see that PSG has a serious champions league game...so most times ...their stars play less minutes of football compared to other stars in other leagues who play more minutes of football...hence they are more effective...PSG can never drop their entire 11 against any English opposition if they are in the EPL..but then you can see why Man city has to be punished for breaching the rules cos ...if they are not punished..whatever PSG is doing to other ligue 1 teams in france can happen in the EPL where teams with so much wealthy owners can out buy every other clubs ..buy the best players and be the best team in the EPL for years as evident as how city has been strong for over 10 years
