Xiaomi of course offers the best in terms of price to performance ratio and SOFTWARE support. You are sure to get latest miui versions on your phone for at least 4yrs which no OEM can offer. Devices launched 3yrs ago have all been upgraded to MIUI 10 which is very impressive. So if I were in a market for good hardware+ software support, my first choice would always be Xiaomi.

Umidigi boast of the now.... I have countless of update with my umidigi a3 that sell for 27-29k. Now it have been confirmed the device will get android 9 soon.. keep an eye on umidigi s3.. its another steal.

these are my observations after the OTA update on my Umidigi One
1. The discharge rate is greatly improved, I started using my phone around 4:10am (when it was fully charged) to 2:05pm and I still had 5% on the battery.

2. The charge rate reduced, before the OTA update my phone takes about 1hr 30mins to charge from 0 to 100% but now I think it takes approximately 2hrs to charge.

3. Hotness while charging, my Umidigi One use to get considerably hot while charging but after the OTA update the hotness has reduced very well.

I will like to thank Umidigi for the OTA Update, initially I was a bit upset because after the update it took about 4hrs to charge my phone, I think a restart of the phone fixed that.

with this OTA update Umidigi has proven that it is a responsive and responsible company that is very ready for business, because before the OTA update we saw a couple of complains of Umidigi One/pro having issues as a result of overnight charging.

I meet a friend of mine using umidigi a3. He told me umidigi have a service centre at computer village.. he's A3 is currently in bad shape (shattered screen) and he have ordered for another from AE.

Oga Mustack, had an Umidigi A3 fall in salt water.... After weeks of drying, it's working well now.......

Base on my own experience, make sure the panel and all other removable parts are serviced. It will still work but the screen will never remain the same because of water mark disconfiguration.

I live in a no light zone for now, to avoid crazy generator voltages I charge with a powerbank. Using my umidigi USB I got 2%-1min, two days ago I decided to switched to the powerbank's USB and now I get 1%-1min on the 1amp port, discharge rate seems normal.

Yea. Mind you don't spread to much butter on slice bread.. charge accordingly and appropriately..

Everyone want a slice bread details of A3. Just charge your device and in less than 3hours your phone go full from 0 -100% or download Ampere from play store to know how to spread butter on slice bread...
