Can a Christian show where the law of inheritance goes in d bible? NT specifically since they've dropped th other one |
Okay... we haff hear... how about the new testament ![]() |
truthmans2012:But why didn't he specifically point it out... and why did Jesus to said so? and finally, was the bible revealed in English? what language did Jesus speak? |
unphilaz:The bible disagrees with you. Go on |
unphilaz:I keep telling you...son of God is not God . and in the bible there are numerous sons of God. For the sake of argument, show me where he's God . |
truthmans2012:The First Commandment is that God is One The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier: "Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad." This is a Hebrew quotation, which means: "Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord." [The Bible, Mark 12:29] It is striking that the basic teachings of the Church such as Trinity and vicarious atonement find no mention in the Bible. In fact, various verses of the Bible point to Jesus’ (pbuh) actual mission, which was to fulfill the law revealed to Prophet Moses (pbuh). Indeed Jesus (pbuh) rejected any suggestions that attributed divinity to him, and explained his miracles as the power of the One True God. Jesus (pbuh) thus reiterated the message of monotheism that was given by all earlier prophets of Almighty God. NOTE: All quotations of the Bible are taken from the King James Version. III) Concept of God in Old Testament: 1. God is One The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses (pbuh): "Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad". It is a Hebrew quotation which means: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" [The Bible, Deuteronomy 6:4] 2. Unity of God in the Book of Isaiah The following verses are from the Book of Isaiah: (i) "I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour." [The Bible, Isaiah 43:11] (ii) "I am Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me." [The Bible, Isaiah 45:5] (iii) "I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me." [The Bible, Isaiah 46:9] 3. Old Testament condemns idol worship (i) Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:" "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Exodus 20:3-5] (ii) A similar message is repeated in the book of Deuteronomy: "Thou shalt have none other gods before me." "Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth." "Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Deuteronomy 5:7-9] |
unphilaz:Brother, for the bible to have numerous versions only goes to show how unreliable it is...even amongst you Christians. Corrupted Peace! |
6. The First Commandment is that God is One

unphilaz:You yourself believe hes son of man...Man can't be God Even son of God is not God.. Man has his limits as a human.. |
unphilaz:Where's your point? |
unphilaz:I also want to tell you the opposite |
unphilaz:which of the bibles? and how sure are that's what Jesus really said...cos I'll point some contradictory verses too |
unphilaz:Whoa....u don't need to show me, you are a son of your father because he slept with your mother. What kinda god would do that? Even in ur bible he says he's son of man...why so? again |
The majority of Christians, when asked to explain this fundamental doctrine of their faith, can offer nothing more than “I believe it because I was told to do so.” It is explained away as “mystery” – yet the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:33 that: “... God is not the author of confusion ...” The Unitarian denomination of Christianity has kept alive the teachings of Arius in saying that God is one; they do not believe in the Trinity. As a result, mainstream Christians abhor them, and the National Council of Churches has refused their admittance. In Unitarianism, the hope is kept alive that Christians will someday return to the preachings of Jesus: “... Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” (Luke 4: ![]() |

truthman2012:[b] The three monotheistic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – all purport to share one fundamental concept: belief in God as the Supreme Being, the Creator nd Sustainer of the Universe. Known as “tawhid” in Islam, this concept of the Oneness of God was stressed by Moses in a Biblical passage known as the “Shema”, or the Jewish creed of faith: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.” (Deuteronomy 6:4) It was repeated word-for-word approximately 1500 years later by Jesus, when he said: “...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.” (Mark 12:29) Muhammad came along approximately 600 years later, bringing the same message again: “And your God is One God: there is no God but He...” (Quran 2:163) Christianity has digressed from the concept of the Oneness of God, however, into a vague and mysterious doctrine that was formulated during the fourth century. This doctrine, which continues to be a source of controversy both within and outside the Christian religion, is known as the Doctrine of the Trinity. Simply put, the Christian doctrine of the Trinity states that God is the union of three divine persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – in one divine being. If that concept, put in basic terms, sounds confusing, the flowery language in the actual text of the doctrine lends even more mystery to the matter. Let’s put this together in a different form: one person, God the Father, plus one person, God the Son, plus one person, God the Holy Ghost, equals one person, God the What? Is this English or is this gibberish? It is said that Athanasius, the bishop who formulated this doctrine, confessed that the more he wrote on the matter, the less capable he was of clearly expressing his thoughts regarding it. How did such a confusing doctrine get its start? In Matthew 28:19, we find Jesus telling his disciples to go out and preach to all nations. While this “Great Commission” does make mention of the three persons who later become components of the Trinity, the phrase “...baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” is quite clearly an addition to Biblical text – that is, not the actual words of Jesus –as can be seen by two factors: 1) baptism in the early Church, as discussed by Paul in his letters, was done only in the name of Jesus; and 2) the “Great Commission” was found in the first gospel written, that of Mark, bears no mention of Father, Son and/or Holy Ghost –see Mark 16:15. The only other reference in the Bible to a Trinity can be found in the Epistle of 1 John 5:7. Biblical scholars of today, hwever, have admitted that the phrase: “...there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” …is definitely a “later addition” to Biblical text, nd it is not found in any of today’s versions of the Bible. It can, therefore, be seen that the concept of a Trinity of divine beings was not an idea put forth by Jesus or any other prophet of God. This doctrine, now subscribed to by Christians all over the world, is entirely man-made in origin....and secondly who calm them Christians? God or Jesus? has Jesus ever called anyone with that name? has he ever had of the name? [/b] |
Emperor4God:is this the new testament? do you want me to show you more of those? |
Unfortunately for him, these Christians will worship you whether you say or not. it has happened before |
truthman2012:Well there's no mention of Trinity in the Bible... hell there's no mention of Christianity in the entire bible.. yet u still com up wt those. answer me how singing and dancing come about... waiting |
Papist:Actually, Jesus and Moses n other prphets prostrate, and those are who Muslims learn from. where do Christians prostrate? it's not true, they don't follow Jesus |
truthman2012:You keep getting dumber I'd have explained to u |
truthman2012:trash! it's the same Mitch! |
truthman2012:You completely goofed Zion doesn’t necessarily mean Jerusalem, it has been used figuratively for the church and for Israel in the Babylonian captivity, so it seems like it has been used for any group or mass of people worshiping God, which can be applied on Kaaba here. This can even be seen among Christian sites as this : https://www.lds.org/?lang=eng Zion The word Zion has various meanings in the scriptures. The most general definition of the word is “the pure in heart” ( D&C 97:21 ). Zion is often used in this way to refer to the Lord’s people or to the Church and its stakes (see D&C 82:14 ). It has also been used to refer to specific geographical locations. Meaning of Zion 1. (n) place considered to be perfect or ideal 2. (n) Jewish republic in southwestern Asia at eastern end of Mediterranean; formerly part of Palestine 3. (n) originally a stronghold captured by David (the 2nd king of the Israelites); above it was built a temple and later the name extended to the whole hill; finally it became a synonym for the city of Jerusalem; |
truthman2012:It's really a shame! that's what you can come up with? you didn't answer my question... how do Christians pray? how did they come up with dancing and singing ?And speaking of kaaba This shall be a brief account on what the Bible said about the Islamic Kaaba in Mecca. Allah in the Quran telling about the Kaaba says: [b] 96. The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: (Holy Quran 2:96) Kaaba in the Bible In Psalm 84 it says: 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. Selah 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. 6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca , they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. 7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. So the word Valley of Baca is clearly mentioned here, and mentioned as a noun not translated to weeping as some other Biblical versions translate. Meaning it’s a real place not just a metaphorical one. Zamzam Spring Then it comes to something else: they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. Mecca has the spring of Zamzam which is a huge spring that has been producing water continuously for more than 1400 years and the pipelines transporting Zamzam water to Al Madina (about 400 km north) which is even an independent miracle in that blessed place. Mecca is also a place where rains are very heavy in the autumn. [/b] |
truthman2012:The Christians and Jews at the time of the prophet didn't believe in him...why are they coming to him for judgment? they have been sent messengers... Praise be to Allah, First of all, Neither Christians nor Jews (in general) believe in oneness of Allah. One time, A Christian man entered the mosque while the messenger of Allah (pbuh) was reciting from the Qur'aan: They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their priests to be their lords besides Allâh (Qur'aan 9:31) So he said: "We did not worship our priests." The Messenger said: "Yes, you do. Don't they make the Halal (allowed matters) Haram (disallowed matters) and the Haram Halal, then you follow them?" He answered yes. The Messenger said: "That is worshiping them." So by obeying their priests in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allâh, they made them partners of Allâh. But suppose that one of them does not do so, he believes in the oneness of Allah but does not believe with his messenger or he refuse to be Muslims. In this case he will be Kafir (disbeliever) too since he refused to believe with what Allah has sent. The following verses talks about that: Truly, the religion with Allâh is Islâm. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, then surely, Allâh is Swift in calling to account. (Qur'aan 3:19) |
truthman2012:Sir, I'm sorry to say this but you really are dumb...that's your "lie down" I explained to you...you said fall on means lie down...You said Jesus lie down to pray.. Really dumb! |
truthman2012:The religion is Allah's .. Truly, the religion with Allâh is Islâm. (Qur'aan 3:19) [1] Those who disbelieve from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and among Pagans, were not going to leave (their disbelief) until there came to them clear evidence. [2] A Messenger (Muhammad) from Allâh, reciting (the Qur'ân) purified pages. [3] Containing correct and straight laws from Allâh. [4] And the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) differed not until after there came to them clear evidence. (i.e. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever was revealed to him). [5] And they were commanded not, but that they should worship Allâh, and worship none but Him Alone (abstaining from ascribing partners to Him), and perform Prayers and give Charity: and that is the right religion. If they are believers they should use wat was sent to them since they refused to believe. simple |
