There is no mis-conception that Mohammad is elevated to a very high status in Islam. You claim Allah is the only one that is worshipped in Islam but you and I know that is not true. When I went to Mecca for the pilgrimage, we circled around the black stone, bowed down to it and kissed it; I couldn't even kissed it because so many people where there. I later learned that the cube was a pagan shrine during the time of Mohammad. This was one of the reasons I left Islam. This surprised me because in Islam I was taught that only Allah was to be worshipped and our religion is idol free.

Regarding Mohammad, it's a fact that Muslims talk to him during their prayers. Most times when Muslims pray, they direct words to Allah but there are part of their words that pray to Mohammad. When Muslims say "Peace be upon you oh prophet" - why are you doing that? If Mohammad is just another prophet and man, why is he in muslim prayers? Why do we say, peace be upon him. Do we say the same for Abraham, Jesus or other prophets you claim you believe in?

In salat, muslims say: "Peace and God's mercy and blessing be on you, prophet". This statement is not asking Allah to grant peace to Mohammad. This is a direct statement where muslims are talking to Mohammad as if he can hear you. This is called Shirk and another reason I left Islam.

Dude, no one can factually prove God exist. You premise is based on what is true and what is factual. Jesus crucifixion is a historical fact - whether you believe it or not; it happened. God's existence is not factual, it's based on inference and truth statements. I believe God exist because we live in a perfectly ordered Universe. I am inferring He exist, I can't factually prove He does.

For example, Mohammad existed because it is factual; Christians don't deny that. The issue here is that Allah got it wrong when he said Jesus wasn't crucified; that is a bone you have to crack and I am afraid you will choke on it. Intelligent muslims wouldn't even argue this point
