Education / Politics And Academics, How To Strike Balance. by muyeskin(m): 7:08am On Oct 30, 2010
Hello Nairalanders,
I'm creating this to sensitize people on how great it is to combine Politics and Academics together. But i will want to say also that it is very tasking. As we all know that the VOGUE in nigeria is not what you know but whom you know. Don't just go for learning alone, Add to yourself my people.
Education / Re: *~ Muyeskin Voted The Education Section Poster Of The Year *~ Congrats!!! by muyeskin(m): 3:57pm On Oct 26, 2010
Well, I just want to say that whatever you know how to do, do it well. I've seen some post saying Muyeskin aka OXYGEN is not an active poster or probably not a good poster. I disseminate information's not because i needed an award but because i had the passion to help candidates with necessary information's. The question i need to ask is that, What's your criteria for choosing the most active? Is it someone that just come around to paste anything or contributing anything online? I believe the criteria is far beyond that. How much do you affect people positively with your information or post? I want to use this medium to urge NAIRALANDERS to keep up the good work always. Finally, Anybody that says it can not be done should not interrupt. Signed: OXYGEN
Education / Re: Does Oau Accepts 2nd Choice by muyeskin(m): 8:14pm On Sep 23, 2010
Hello Faith,
I just want to make some clarifications right here. This is the fact, and this is what you'll get from the real source. OAU accepts second choice but not automatic. You have to PROCESS it. Reason being that, OAU will assume that you might have gotten an admission in your 1st choice of institution and they will not want to give out slots anyhow. They've done this years back and they've learnt their lesson. Unless it's a MIRACLE. As regard the numbers of people that passed, Ignore the fact that people did not pass the post-utme. OAU has what they want already (NUMBER wise). Remember, OAU pre-degree students are also waiting for admission. So try something very fast cos you've got a good score. Signed:OXYGEN
Education / Re: Great Corruption In Oau's Post-utme by muyeskin(m): 1:37pm On Jul 14, 2010
A total number of 37,073 candidates participated in the exercise. Twenty-three candidates scored above 300 marks while two candidates: Okoronkwo Chibuikem David and Okwuoha Uche Raphael, who applied to read Law, recorded the highest score of 320 (out of 400) marks each.

Hello Gaybriel,
I totally DISAGREE with what you wrote about OAU. In short, I will advise you seek for the right info before you paste because info's like this, goes a long way. The STRATEGY OAU used was not a bad one at all by selling the form for 1,000 and the Checker for 1,750. You may not have known the fundamental reason behind this. Only if i have the time, I will convince you to any level. Why don't you consider other schools and see how much some FORMS only were sold. Fellow Nairalander's, I have nothing to gain cos my younger sister also wrote this very POST UTME. I have my proof anytime. Signed: OXYGEN
