So you believe in God? this is what this people believe in too, let them be. Do you know that this is d origin of religious crisis, when u want to force your believe on others. If we want peaceful coexistence; its LIVE AND LET LIVE. I'm a Christian but I respect others faith, those who believe in church n mosque sud also perform their prayers n worship.

Did I just hear you say that? You are a Christian? You need to tell me more about Christianity

Even th Bible says give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar.
I can't believe someone finally quoted this. You need to go restudy that verse and know what the bible truly meant. Stop misinterpreting THE WORD of God angry

This move is the actual solution
Really??
Did you know this same thing was done in Liberia in the first few days of the Ebola outbreak, only for it to turn out to be Ebola virus disease...when public health specialists took over the situation.
ln Liberia, they kept on doing all kinds of rituals and fetish things while the disease kept spreading and claiming lives till health experts stepped in. If not,...
Our superstitious beliefs in Africa will destroy us one day if care is not taken.
I don't even know what Education has really done in some lives. Not surprised when people started consuming bag of salts then too to avoid Ebola. And yet, you pay thousands in the university to get Educated.

Myths? As far as I am concerned, healing is divine. Not from any other source.

Abi oh, some people with their over civilised mindset, if African gods r fairy tales, y did Nigerian constitution recognise traditional worshippers?
What has civilization got to do with healing? I just but nod my head when I see happenings like this. So tell me, how many drums of water will they have to fetch and pour on that non living wood? When half of them can come together to seek God's face.

Better, nice move. Call a spade a spade, why deceiving ourselves When we know what exactly d problem is

Some ignorants will still "tag" this move aa foolishness whereas its the actual solution sad

Solution you say? I can't but laugh. I can't just believe that this whole multitude are yet to know who Christ is. Only God knows if they've at one point in time gone to clean God's temple, rather practising this foolish act. They need Christ.

Politics / Re: INEC Releases Kogi Assembly Results, APC Kicks by muyeskin(m): 7:32pm On Apr 13, 2015
Most of the comments here are being presented by political infants. As far as Nigeria's politics is concerned, you need to learn. Take a cue from below.
1. The same state that voted APC massively during the presidential election suddenly loses to the opposition party all of a sudden (within days)
2. Even with facts in some of this states, it was obvious that election was fully rigged. (Taraba, Rivers and others)
3. So sure most of you commenting did not even bother voting. You prefer coming to Nairaland criticizing and saying all sort of rubbish about a party you know nothing about. Meanwhile, your parents and grandparents are the ones deciding your vote.
I'll conclude by saying its not too late to be an EDUCATED man. What you learn from your higher institutions are not enough. Peace out.

Education / What Schools Will Not Teach You. Must Read by muyeskin(m): 11:51am On Apr 04, 2015
Pls read.
Prof. Abletor Sedofia from University of Ghana. Academic excellence is overrated! Did I just say that? Oh, yes, I said it.Being top of your class does not necessarilyguarantee that you will be at the top of life. Youcould graduate as the best student in Finance but it doesn't mean you will make more money than everybody else. The best graduating Lawstudent does not necessarily become the best lawyer. The fact is life requires more than the ability to understand a concept, memorise it and reproduce it in an exam. School rewards people for their memory. Life rewards people for their imagination. School rewards caution, life rewards daring. School hails thosewho live by the rules. Life exalts those who break the rules and set new ones. So do I mean people shouldn't studyhard in school? Oh, no, you should. But don't sacrifice every other thing on the altar of First Class. Don't limit yourself to the classroom. Do something practical. Take a leadership position. Start a business and fail. That's abetter Entrepreneurship 101.Join or start a club. Contest an election and lose. It will teachsomething Political Science 101 will not teach you. Attend a seminar. Read books outside the scope of your course. Go on missions and win a soul for eternal rewards... Do something you believe in! Think less of becoming an excellent student but think more of becoming an excellent person. Make the world your classroom!

Religion / Re: Oyedepo’s Church, Winners Chapel Burnt Down Over Purported Support For Jonathan by muyeskin(m): 10:15am On Mar 27, 2015
I don't want us to be dogmatic. It's the media.
Below are my facts:
1. How are we sure that was the main reason for the burning?(Though I am not saying it is right)
2. Who was there to confirm that it was Buhari's name they chanted before carrying out their evil deed?
3. How are we sure it is not from the opposition party to create a form of chaos like its been done in some other states at the moment?
Looking at these points critically, you will need to agree with me that, Nigerians need to be more careful with the informations we get and how we digest them. We are Educated and let's not forget, this is Nigeria. Peace Out
