There are four major ways to earn money but only one way is the ultimate and the only true financial freedom. I will give a brief description of each:
1. Employee: this is the most popular and first to come to mind, when you ask people how they think they can earn money 'work' that is the answer you will get, as noble as this may sound, the question is how much and for how long are you going to work to truly be free from the rat race?
2. Entrepreneurs: sole proprietor, specialist all belong to this category they earn higher than employees and have sufficient time to do other businesses, thereby being open to better opportunities, however they can only earn as much as they can work, meaning no work no chop, no holidays or breaks(because it's costly) I had also seen where a new technology made some specialists totally useless and not needed.
3. Business owners: this is better than the two above, only that you have to worry about overhead, regulations, technology or change in process as a result becomes riskier plus after taking care of these you may be lucky to have just little left as profit.
4. Investors: this is my favorite and the ultimate solution to financial freedom, this is the class where Warren, bill, dangote etc belongs, here you don't get involved in daily activities, no worries, minimal risk, freedom to do what you like with your time.
In summary a wise man said 'money is a wicked master, but a profitable servant' therefore instead of you working for money, make money work for you.
