Achebe grew up in Anambra. I have shown you an evidence. Even in his book he made it clear that he got admission at DMGS first but because all his siblings schooled at DMGS he then decided to give the government college a trial and not that he set out to attend the school.

Even in terms of academic excellence you can't compare Onitsha based elite and British standard schools like DMGS, CKC, QRC to the ordinary government college in Abia state.

Get it into your ipob head, Achebe grew up in Anambra. Achebe had his major exposure in Anambra where he grew up.
