What ever helps you sleep at night. If you read by name you would know I’m from delta state on my fathers side aboh is a village along the Niger River in delta state. On my mothers side I’m from ogun state. So I don’t know what your saying I just support anything that is positive for Nigeria, and I know that the mall and market will be full and be patronized. If this pains you locate the Niger bridge and jump it really doesn’t concern me what you think.

That’s what everyone thinks. The state government built a vocational center to teach people how to do things like build keke napep, Mae soap, make cream, sewing, tailoring, painting, building, etc. they have also built three or four rice mills will produce 500 000MT per year, also a massive recycling plant that will employ 5000 people. They will sell all sorts of stuff there are already traders working in the international market it is almost full infact.

Wonderful. Kenya could only dream of this, I see Nigeria saving millions of dollars from medical tourism, and ebonyi making millions of dollars from medical tourism. The governor is planning on opening a 500 bed hospital in abakaliki which will be much bigger than all these other pictures I’ve shown.

Anyway congratulations Anambra on your airport. I don’t really mind every single state having an airport my problem is the over optimistic (impossible) predictions of population. People are saying it will hold 100 million people per year. That’s what annoys me it is impossible for Anambra to get 100 million, infact impossible for any place in Africa to get 100 million ppy and that’s the fact of the matter. Unless a governor does not something very big. Like build 10 resorts of the standard of atlantis in Dubai, good roads, good railways, massive aquarium, massive malls etc. but that isn’t the case currently.

No more Illegal Arrest And Detention, AIG Mohammed Danmallam Assures As Newly Commissioned Police Zonal Headquarters, Ukpo(Awka capital territory), Zone 13, Begins Full Operation.

The newly created Police Zonal Headquarters, Zone 13, Ukpo, Dunukofia Council Area, Anambra state has commenced full operation.

Zone 13, will be in charge of Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi Police Commands.

Addressing the press shortly after a meeting with the three Commissioners of Police under the zone, including CP John Abang of Anambra state Police Command, that of Enugu state, CP Amad Abdullham and their Ebonyi counterpart, CP Philip Sule Makpo, the AIG in charge of Zone 13, AIG Mohammed Danmallam assured that they will do their best to promote good relationship between the police and the citizenry.

AIG Danmallam further stressed that under his watch, no extra judicial killing, among others will be recorded.

He pleaded for the compliance and cooperation of other security agencies and members of the public to enable them achieve the desired goal.

AIG Danmallam who described the media as partners in progress said they will provide an emergency number for the members of the public, assuring of paying attention to all petitions and valuable information. He also promised to protect the Identity of anyone who provides them with information that will aid smooth and effective policing.

His Royal Highness Igwe Dr Emmanuel O Ùgwù, the traditional ruler of Ibagwa Nike who also doubles as the state chairman of community policing committee and the president zone 9 police officers mess committee, today paid a visit to the Assistant Inspector General of police, Danmallam Mohammed (fdc) at Zone 13 headquarters Ukpo, Anambra State.

His Royal Highness requested that they should be carried along in the affairs of the zone.

He also stated that it was as a result of the good works the AIG did in Enugu as a commissioner of police that made him pay this solidarity visit to him.

The president, police officers mess committee thanked the AIG for giving them the opportunity of the visit and audience.

The AIG, Danmallam welcomed the team and stated that he is very glad to receive them and assured them of good working relationship and that he will work with every members of the public in line with community policing to ensure the safety of lives and properties within the zone.

He also requested that they should cooperate with the police and also give credible information in order to achieve a crime free zone and also for maintenance of peace and order.

The ANSG has a parks department whose job it is to make sure that those trees are tended to and not just sit in office eating groundnut and receiving salary. Trees, Flowers are what makes cities livable. The British colonial government planted mango trees along Old Enugu Road from Onitsha to Enugu GRA. Many are still there providing shade and preventing erosion.
It is a good start.

One good initiative of Obiano was planting trees along the expressway between Amawbia and Amansea. Some you can see have started to grow. But the parks department do not take care of them!For Onitsha the green belts at the Awka Road junction is tasteful and takes the edge off of the concrete jungle that is Onitsha. However, I hope the ANSG will look into creating neighbourhood green spaces in some of the hoods with trees, grass and concrete benches where people can relax in the evenings.

Well if you put it that way, I'd say let Enugu renovate what is already done and then Anambra can channel their funds into the suggested. What thinkest thout ?

don't get the youths in this country. Shouldn't we be be more innovative than this. How can the governor be thinking of constructing an airport when Enugu airport is just less than 30mins away. Instead of that, why not handshake with Enugu govt and develop a modern train transportation from Enugu airport to Anambra. Na wa o. All states must not have an airport. That's how i flew from PH to Abuja via Owerri and that flight was like less than 10mins with the craziest landing ever. I kid you not.

Abia State are lucky to have you in their state, because if not for the existence of Ohafia and Ngwa in Abia state, Abia would have ended up as a 3rd class Igbo state like Ebonyi!

Clearer view of Anambra international airport runway. They are working on the stone base of the runway. The runway is 3.6km, and can accommodate jumbo jets and wide body aircrafts. It is only the international airports in Lagos and Abuja that have such length of the runway.
