Johntemmy:am in lagos sir |
To understand pistotita and his teachings is like facing a compulsory further maths exam, you go read tire but wont understand any thing, the thing is that he likes to research but forgoting that not everyone has that time, it does not mean you are the wisest of all, will make you successfull than others, some people does their planting the normal way and gets it done without much issues, it does not matter we need to copy so we can be like pistotito, to me he is only saying we should go research on stuffs ourselves and stop depending on others, but its better pistotita you keep it simple and easy so we your listeners can grab one or two, not everyone is as educated like you abeg, anyways i still love pistotita for his hardworks and contributions to this agricultural threads, you are really making a difference one love brother dont let haters pull you down thanks |
ATTAHDYE:i mean in which state is funtua? I have not heard of that place before thats why |
ATTAHDYE:please where is your location? |
BoluwGoldenFarm:please where can one take his okro to and sell in large quantities? Someone into 50 acres of just only okro needs many workers managing the farm for him, |
Please i want to ask like how many bags filled with okro can a plot of land produce at every harvest? And how much approximately can one make a week from this one plot been filled with okro? I just needed an extimate so i can order from you this week thanks |
I want to ask something here Why is okro scarce majorly in lagos markets? Just imagine some market women sells only 5 pieces of okro for #50 naira here in lagos, this is insane, and now we are heading towards dry season in which it will be more scarce to get, or are we really saying we dont really have an okro farm here in lagos or what? Hmm it baffles me |
lereinter:okro is not really hard to grow, all you need is just to plant them and start harvesting in 2-3 months time, incase you stay in an environment that is been disturbed much by wind its better to plant dwarf okro there, looks like winds tend to disturb all this tall normal okro plants, as for fertilizers use organic dry chicken waist every week for them to grow stronger and faster but am only interested in marketing of the okro and making money from it since growing them is not necessarily my problem here |
Johntemmy:please i want to know the market that one can supply okro to and make money, the marketing aspect is what am interested in, please shade more light on this thanks |
opeyemiabdullah:sorry i got to see this late, i will send you an email message from virtapay***@gmail.com so we can discuss more on this thanks |
Are you saying to rent an acre there is 5k per year? And also can one rent a room around the area closer to the farm site for easier access to it. |
benardj3:you should have soaked it in water for 12-15 hours before planting, this helps to aid the germination more faster |
olawooro:hmmm although the economy is hard for us now, you are the type of people that needs to be seriously sponsored, i feel like crying for you now brother i have not known you from anywhere but i can sense your sincerity with the words you have spoken here, you are the type of people i really like bro, had it been am in a better position to help you i would have done so without even thinking twice, as for people really interested in helping others here, remember jesus healed 10 sick people but only one came back to show apprecaition, to tell you that is how life is, you can help 10 people today but you can never know the one that will come back to say thank you, so that is why you just need to continually help people in need, you may never reap the reward today but keep it in mind that the ALL SEEING GOD WHO SEES THINGS IN SECRETS WILL REWARD YOU AT THE RESURRECTION OF ALL HIS CHOSEN ONCE, so please never stop doing good your good might end you up been in heaven just like that. Your charitable means might just be accounted for you as been righteous, the way of the lord is not the way of men, and also the thinking of the lord is not the thinking of men so do not judge and stop doing good but as for me i just really need someone here to sponsor me in my farm ambitions, i need to go into farming full time to earn a living for myself in this world thanks |
karlboss:but which state is that? |
karlboss:please where in lagos do you stay? We can get to be partners on this. Do drop me your contact |
OluchiDelly:ok so you mean i can still sell this dwarf okro without going to mile 12 market? I also heard this dwarf okro produce pods more plenty than the normal okro? I base in lagos |
Hmmm a friend of mine planted this dwarf looking okro in the village, the only thing he complains of his people stealing the pods to plant in their farms or compound, anyways my fear is that if i eventually plant this dwarf okro seeds and it matures for harvest, please can i get buyers that will buy from me? I dont really know if people can buy it compared to the normal okro thanks |
Hello everyone here, i have a business idea that i need serious partners or investors on, although i have no capital or land to start. please invest on farming today because it pays and its very profitable on the long run, there are places in ogun state that rents hectares of land for 15k per year, and also you can rent a plot here in lagos for only 5k a year you can really plant pepper, okro, tomato, cucumber, ugu leaf.water leaf, plantain, cassava, etc after planting you can carry them to sell at mile 12 market for faster sales, or maybe any large populated markets around although in mile 12 market in lagos a bag of 25kg pepper is sold 8k a basket of tomato is 6k a custard paint of okro is 300 to 700 depending on the season, a bag of water leaf sells from 2,500 to 5000 please note the prizes of all this crops do changes with time, and you wont expect the prize they are been sold today to be sold the same prize next week or so. apart from mile 12 there are also other markets women nearby that needs steady supply of all this crops i have mentioned here. to me all of them are profitable and good, but i prefer planting okro because of no too much stress and worry of diseases and pest, expectially the dwarf okro seeds that matures in just 54 days with less stress, even without applying manure or fertilizers to it, anyone interested in partnering with me on this will gain a lot. If you already have a land that is free then this is an advantage this dwarf okro produces faster everyday, just 1 plot of land can give you much more okro to sell and make money as you can ever imagine, if you have an acre filled with okro then you will have enough to sell comercially, just 1 acre of land filled with okro will make you harvest baskets of okro every single day for almost 5-8 months depending on the duration and life of the seeds, a basket of okro can sell upwards from 5k-7k depending on the season and 1 acre of land can give you more than 10 baskets everyday as for marketing i have agents in mile 12 that sells for you and take only 10% of the total sales we can even sell at iyano-iba market that is very closer to my side. Or do make supplies to restaurants that will be needing it You can even startup with just 1 plot of land and be successfull in this and increase with time, this is indeed a money spiner for anyone interested invest on this and start counting real money i am based in lagos we can get to meet one on one to discuss this please and please i need people who can think outside the box on this, i am geniun and i have no issue on trust all i want is the way forward to achieving a greater tomorrow a good name is far more better than a bad name, a budget of 30-35k can startup and maintain 1 plot of okro till we reach harvest from renting of the land to buying of manures, dwarf okro seeds,pesticides/insecticides,watering them daily, transportation and fertilizers all i want is just to be the farm manager thats all do call me on 07041246325 thanks |
