When Buhari was sworn on all what leaders did were just to congratulate him in a tweet. But our own the guy must travel. Staying in Nigeria scares him. |

The police just took stolen goods from a lower thief and handed it over to a higher thief.
I can bet that those NNPC officials contacted would siphon that product to their personal pocket. |

quentin06: hmm he ran into a stationery truck, the owners gave you 250k you say insult hmmm.
madam inspector, what was your husband running away from? The husband could have been drunk you never can say. Because in Nigeria you can't question any law enforcement agent. |

Originalsly: Hmmm...... abandoned or not.... the truck driver/owner is not responsible for the death of her husband. If a vehicle is stopped... parked... not moving.... even if in the center of the road.... and you crash into it.... your fault. Her husband slammed into the truck... his fault...driving too fast... couldn't stop in time nor swerve to avoid the truck. So if the truck driver offer her N250K.... she should be thankful..... he owes her nothing.... he should withdraw it. In fact...he should be the one compensated for damages to his truck....sounds heartless...but is the bitter truth. The bitter truth, the sweet truth, the sour truth and the only truth. |

The officer ran into a truck and got crushed.
The truck did not run over the man or run into the man.
To me the accident is the mans fault, the owner of the truck is just trying to play his part. She should accept the money. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria To Introduce New Taxes To Increase Revenue – Minister by MyGeneration(m): 9:47am On Apr 01, 2019 |
fuckupnation: Shameles minister, the only way you think to generate revenues that will assist 2019 budget is from alcoholic beverage? This is the kind people Nigerian's trust their future in their hands. You did see how American and British collect tax by rich paying higher, develop country collect from rich and give to poor, not to tax the only thing that give none Muslim men joy. You chose taxing alcoholic side because your not Muslim. Why can't you tax any house that cost over 100 thousand dollars to be paying tax of 10% of the house yearly? Every luxury cars can pay tax of 100 thousand naira yearly if fail to pay the particulars can't be renew. Any Nigerian politician that have children study abroad will pay 150 thousand naira per child head yearly till the child complete education. Any bank account that have more than 100 million naira be it dollar account pays tax of 10% of the amount yearly. Any Nigerian living in Nigerian while services foreign account pay tax of 20% of the amount bank abroad yearly. Every herder pay 20 thousand naira per cow. Please you the government know where to get tax but your hatred against poor Nigeria can't allow you channel your tax to right direction. Real fuckup nation |
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Introduce New Taxes To Increase Revenue – Minister by MyGeneration(m): 9:44am On Apr 01, 2019 |
Reference: Hahahahaha.... indeed. That is what you get from a government bereft of ideas.... just tax, tax, tax... but the silver lining here is that taxation brings about influence and empowers the 'taxee' ... to hold the 'taxer' accountable. Nigerians should understand that it is the path to development as responsibility is universally tied symbiotically to reward.
So prosperity may not comedirectly and immediately from increased taxation as we are still pouring water into a basket called the Federal Government but the anger at seeing the efforts go wasting is what ultimately spurs reforms. If Ms. Zainab thinks it will all be a jolly tax and spend ride then she will be in for a shocker. This pressure will definitely catalyse revolutionary rumblings. I have this feeling you are not a Nigerian or didn't grow up in Nigeria. In Nigeria they abuse anything, they would tax you high tax then do nothing fruitful with the money, if you decide to protest they sent law enforcement after you. The money is their right but using it to work is not your concern. |
