European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Manchester City Vs Chelsea Fc Tomorrow match preview (4pm) by myhobbies(op):
Diego Costa is fit to lead the line for Chelsea
as they look to extend their perfect start to the
Barclays Premier League season away to
champions Manchester City.

The Spain forward has scored seven goals in
his first four matches in England's top flight,
but the hamstring issues that dogged the end
of his campaign with Atletico Madrid last
season have resurfaced.

Costa scored a hat-trick in last weekend's 4-2
win over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge, but
was limited to a late appearance as Chelsea
drew 1-1 with Schalke in their UEFA
Champions League opener on Wednesday.
Jose Mourinho has a full squad to choose
from and, though conceding Costa is not yet
ready to play a full schedule, confirmed the
striker will line up on Sunday at the Etihad
Stadium, where Chelsea won 1-0 in the league
last term.

"Diego is not in the best condition but he will
start the game,” Mourinho said. "We tried to
do our best, the player is fantastic in his
amazing attitude to be available for the team.
We have to protect him until he gets
completely fit.

"He plays Sunday, he doesn't play against
Bolton [Wanderers on Wednesday in the
League Cup], he plays against Aston Villa next
Saturday, let's hope he goes in the right
direction and is able to play in every game."

Mourinho's counterpart Manuel Pellegrini will
be desperate for a win as City are the closest
of Chelsea's predicted title challengers, but sit
five points off the pace. A reaction is also
required from the champions in their third big
game in the space of nine days.

Martin Demichelis rescued a 2-2 draw at
Arsenal last Saturday before Bayern Munich’s
Jerome Boateng struck a late winner against
his former club in midweek in the Champions
League.

Pellegrini was also shorn of his star striker for
large parts in Germany, with Sergio Aguero
only fit enough for a 16-minute showing from
the bench. But the Argentina forward is also
set to start on Sunday, much to Pellegrini's
relief, having suffered defeat to Chelsea in
each of last season's Premier League
meetings.

"He's fresh for Sunday and I am sure that we
will make a difference,” Pellegrini said. "When
he is 100% fit he makes a difference."

Aguero's return is a boost to Pellegrini but the
61-year-old is without the injured Stevan
Jovetic (hamstring) and Fernando (groin).

Manchester City (from): Caballero, Hart,

Kompany, Mangala, Nastasic, Sagna, Zabaleta,

I don't even care where the next governor emerges from as far as he or she touches all the places in the state.

I am from Nkanu east but the last Nkanu man, Chimaroke that ruled Enugu did not reach our domain at all. Even up till now we are still praying and hoping that Enugu state government should remember us..

HealthEbola In Lagos – Everything You Need To Know by myhobbies(op): 12:21pm On Jul 27, 2014
Less than 24 hours after the sad news that Sheikh Umar Khan, the 39 year-old doctor from Sierra Leona who has been leading the fight against Ebola, had himself contracted the virus , we hear news of Ebola in Lagos, Obalende area to be precise.

Channels TV reported that a 40 yearbook Liberian man is being treated as a possible case of Ebola in Lagos. The hospital where the man is on admission has been cordoned off (as part of the quarantine protocol for any case of Ebola detection), and the Lagos state government has made a press statement about it.

Should you be scared? No; but not because Ebola isn’t serious, but because fear doesn’t work. We don’t need fear. We don’t need panic. We need to take action.

Ebola in Lagos, here are the symptoms

It typically starts with flu-like symptoms:

General feeling of being unwell (“feeling somehow”)
Increased body temperature Sore throat and headache Weakness

Joint, muscle and chest pain

Basically, the person might feel like they have what most of us Nigerians usually think of as malaria symptoms.

Like I said, these are the ones it typically starts with. Others include:

Throat infection: sore throat, hiccups, feeling like you’re out of breath.

The nervous system can be affected: headaches, confusions fatigue, and even seizures and coma.

Skin: rash, bleeding below the skin surface (haematomas—and when they are large, ecchymoses).

(This bleeding is not a good sign, by the way.)

One more thing to note: the way Ebola spreads is by exposure to body fluids (blood, sweat, saliva, mucus, tears—and yes, semen and vaginal secretion). It is not known to spread by AIR. I’ll repeat that:

EBOLA IS NOT KNOWN TO SPREAD BY AIR.

So relax — you don’t have to hold your breath.

What can you do to protect yourself?

I know, this is what you really want to know.

Wash your hands. Often. With soap and water.

Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick, and be careful with anything they have touched. If possible, don’t touch it, and if you must, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after. (And you don’t wash your hands just any way: you’ll find a link to a video on
exactly how to do it at the end of this post.)

Urge anyone you know who develops Any sickness AT ALL (or yourself, if you’re the one) to get to a hospital FAST. For now, don't take any sickness lightly. Remember this thing starts out looking like your regular common cold or malaria.

Share and spread the news to everyone you know. Knowledge is power. Especially when we act on it.

Lagos state emergency numbers to call if you notice any Ebola symptoms:

08023169485
08033086660
08033065303
08055281442
08055329229

There’s news going round about using hand sanitisers. According to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, a leading public health authority), handfasting with soap and water still beats sanitisers for removing germs...

SportsFootball World Cup Firsts And Facts by myhobbies(op): 11:23am On Jun 30, 2014
The World Cup is full of firsts, from the first
event in 1930 to the first Middle East nation
to host the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

1930 Uruguay

The FIRST two World Cup matches took
place simultaneously, France defeated
Mexico 4–1, and the United States beat
Belgium 3–0. Both matches were played in
Montevideo, Uruguay on 13 July 1930.

The FIRST player to be sent off was from
Peru in a match against Romania on 14 July
1930. According to FIFA, the player was
defender Plácido Galindo, but other
sources contend that it was midfielder
Mario de las Casas.

The FIRST penalty kick ever in World Cup
history was taken on 19 July 1930 by
Chile's Carlos Vidal, with Alexis 'Alex'
Thépot of France in goals. The shot was
saved, so the FIRST goalkeeper to save a
penalty was Alexis 'Alex' Thépot of France.

The FIRST player to score a penalty goal
was Mexico's Manuel Rosas against
Argentina on 19 July 1930.

The FIRST player to score an own goal was
Mexico's Manuel Rosas in a match against

Chile on July 16th.

The FIRST player to score a hat-trick in a
World Cup match was United States' Bert
Patenaude who did this against Paraguay in
the first round of the 1930 World Cup.

Some records wrongly have the first player
scoring a hat-trick as Guillermo Stabile of
Argentina in their 6:3 win over Mexico on
19 July 1930, two days after Patenaude.

The FIRST player to score in a World Cup
match was Lucien Laurent of France in the
19th minute in the first World Cup match
on 13 July 1930.

The FIRST player to be replaced in World
Cup finals due to injury was French
goalkeeper Alex Thepot. The goalkeeper
was kicked by a Mexican player in the jaw
in the opening match of the 1930 World
Cup. He was replaced by midfielder
Augustin Chantrel.

1934 Italy

The FIRST qualifying match was between
Sweden and Estonia (6:2) on 11 June 1933.

The FIRST African country to qualify to
the world cup was Egypt in 1934.

The FIRST player to miss a penalty in
World Cup finals was Brazil's Valdemar de
Brito. De Brito missed the penalty in
Brazil's 3-1 loss to Spain on 27 May 1934.

That was Brazil's only match in the 1934
finals, and the only finals in which Brazil
did not win any match. He later amended
his reputation as he discovered and
nurtured Pele .

The FIRST ever tied match was between
Italy and Spain, the score one all. The
game was played in Florence, Italy on 31
May 1934.

The FIRST match with extra-time was
Austria vs France on 27 May 1934.

The FIRST final with extra-time was Italy
vs Czechoslovakia on 10 June 1934.

The FIRST and only qualifying match
played by a host country was by Italy
(hosts) 4, Greece 0 on 25 March 1934.

The FIRST player to have scored 4 goals in
a qualifier was Ireland's Paddy Moore who
scored 4 goals in their 4:4 draw with
Belgium on 25 Feb 1934 in Dublin.

The FIRST Asian country to play in a
qualifying match was Palestine which lost
1:7 in Egypt on 10 March 1934.

1938 France

The FIRST Asian country to appear in
finals was the Dutch East Indies (now
Indonesia) in 1938.

The FIRST time numbers were used on
players' shirts in the World Cup was in the
1938 finals in France.

1954 Switzerland

The FIRST replacement of a player in a
qualifying match was Germany's Horst
Eckel replaced by Richard Gottinger
against Saar on 11 October 1953.

The FIRST time the tradition of swapping
shirts began in World Cup 1954.

of coin in qualifying round was Spain which
lost to Turkey on toss after a 2:2 tie in a
play-off match on 17 March 1954.

1958.

The FIRST live worldwide TV coverage of
the World Cup was in 1958.
