Pls. I think we should be able to understand what is prayer. Prayer is saying our mind and heart to God silently or with words. It is a way of expression of desire, thanksgiving, reguest, etc. It is not an enchantment or incantation. It is enchantment and incantation that works the way some are thinking. In d place of prayer it is a two way thing, u speak and God does too. Our problem here is we only do our own and don't want to hear what God is saying. The Bilgate of this world will definitely have an alter that speaks for them. Don't ask how but think about it ur self. If hard work only translate to souccess then every hard working person should be succesful. The Dangotes of this world are successful becos they follow the direction received from there alter. U that ur alter is d place of praying do u even hear what God is saying about what u want to do or u follow ur mind and expect God to answer ur prayer. Prayer is a way of communication not an enchantment. Prayer is effective only when d cicle of communication is complet

Bros. Everything is possible when u go out for evangelism. I had a similar experience with my team last 3 years. But in this case it was an aids victim who lost her husband and son to aids and has tested positive for years. After we encounter her and prayed for her, she has gone for test twice within this three years and today she is HIV negative.

I wish to state here that the name catholic church is a baptized name for roman catholic church. So, for understanding the quote "upon this rock I will build my church...", we need to understand d difference btw d church and the roman catholic church. The later can mean a place of worship for the followers of christ or a group of people with christianity as there way of life I.e the body of christ. While the former is a denomination. Now christ does not and I am sure will not start a denomination. The church in antioch was not refer to as roman catholic, but as christians. Therefore our quotation does not refer to roman catholic but to d body of christ. Roman catholic is d first denomination which came up after d body of christ in rome courted politics during the reign of emperor constantain, and it was then refers to the roman catholic. My point now is neither catholic or any denomination is de church of christ but any denomination that sees christianity as a way of life not as religion.
