Chief Emeka Ekwerendu, Onitsha Car Dealer Killed By Robbers - 4 armed men on Monday robbed and killed a middle-aged car dealer, Chief Emeka Ekwerendu, at Modebe Avenue Junction in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra. The Divisional Police Officer at the Central Police Station, Onitsha, Mr. Temitope Fahugbe, confirmed the incident to newsmen, adding that he had not yet received details of the incidence. An eyewitness said the late Ekwerendu was shot by a four-man armed robbery gang at about 8:30 a.m. a few metres away from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Odoakpu, Onitsha. “The gang operating in a light green Toyota Siena without a vehicle number plate trailed their victim from a primary school close to the church, after he had dropped his children at school. “As he was driving out in his black Land Cruiser SUV, he was shot dead and an undisclosed amount of money taken from the boot of his vehicle. “The gang armed with four Ak-47 rifle shot sporadically into the air to scare the people away as they escape he said. www.mykokoradio.com |

Reality Tv Queen Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Might Hit the Altar Soon!! On one hand, Kim Kardashian put together a wedding for reality TV, because bilking money out of rubes is kinda her thing. On the other, Kim would swear up and down that she can fly and has x-ray vision because she’s from Krypton, so honestly we can’t really trust anything she says. So when Ryan Seacrest claimed that we would get news about Kim and Kanye West‘s possible engagement yesterday, of course nothing actually happened because not even Kanye is dumb enough to marry that, but Kim still got headlines anyway because WITCHCRAFT!!! Us Weekly reports … Seacrest, who is an executive producer for both Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York, hinted on his KIIS-FM radio show October 19th that the rapper, 35, may have been planning to pop the question on the couple’s trip to Italy this past weekend. “I think we could definitely see an update on this story on Monday,” he told co-host Ellen K. As of Monday afternoon, though, there was still no word of a ring. In any case, Kardashian certainly looked the part of a blushing bride as she and West enjoyed a romantic dinner at Harry’s Bar in Venice Sunday evening. If this proves anything, it’s that Kim may or may not be an internet troll, and she is using her massive wealth to toy with the media. In all fairness, it’s not like she actually has a job she should be doing, but still, how does this woman turn publicity into money when she’s not selling anything? Because I’m pretty sure alchemists spent their entire lives trying to perfect this formula, and she somehow managed to boil it down to big fake ass – shame – talent = SO MUCH MONEY. Dana Air named best domestic airline in Nigeria by FAAN According to the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), the airline company that crashed and killed 158 people in June 2012 is the best domestic carrier in Nigeria - well, they said in 2011. FAAN GM said Dana Air got the award because of its good customer service, and prompt payment of dues! Prompt payment of dues? Oh I see why it's the best. After what seems to be the most talked about highlight on the 2012 edition of The Headies held at the Expo hall of the Eko Hotels and Suits last Saturday...News getting to us here at mykokoradio.com, from sources very close to rising artiste; Burna boy say his "fall" off the stage was a planned stunt with Hyper Tek artiste Dammy krane.. News about the Aristokrat Records front man Damini Ogulu Aka Burna Boy not being too happy about the Headies nominations, was starting to cause a little strain between him and his management, as he believed he had worked hard enough and he should have been nominated amongst others in The NEXT RATED art of the year category, as he is doing better than most of the nominees in that category. Burna boy whose father was legendary Afrobeat singer Fela's Manager, was heavily criticized last week by the public when he yapped via his twitter handle at the Nollywood leading actress Tonto Dikeh and "wishing her death" for being wack!!, As regards his Stage falling stunt, it was gathered that he needed to bring his drama to the Headies, he needed steal some form of spotlight that night, he also needed Nigerians to talk about him, hence the hoax to fall off the stage was hatched, and the plan worked out well for him. Burna tumbled off the stage with such a might fall! But within seconds he was back up like nothing happened and continued his performance. Guests got on their feet and cheered as Burna when he performed his hit song ‘Like to party‘ while Dammy Krane joined him later on.
